Moon Ji-Woo was a charming girl. Always attentive to others and fearless. She spoke her mind, never reliving her past but choosing to live in the present. The move from her home in Damyang in South Korea to Forks, Washington wasn't as hard as she imagined. They were similar in nature, but the only difficulty for her younger self at that time was the language barrier with her school peers. But she managed little by little with the help of her parents.
She was, in the town's eyes, a smart and charming girl with a great life ahead of her. But she always felt as if something in her life was missing.
Leon Cullen was a quiet boy in the eyes of the humans. He never interacted with anyone other than with his family, but that was a given. He lived his immortal days in grief and loneliness. He watched as his adoptive family found wholeness in their other half, but he was always alone. That was the only thing he had in common with his adoptive brother, Edward. All he wanted was to be loved, to have someone for him, made to love him and all his impurities.
He was, in the town's words, an attractive man with no thought of those around him. But he was just waiting for his person.
When Ji-Woo returns to Fork to continue Highschool after leaving to Korea for a brief period, everything clicks into place when she meets the town's most desired people, more importantly, him.
Two people. One human and one vampire. Their fate intertwined by the stars. A love destined to crash and burn. A love, that in the end, would only become a story for those who witnessed it bloom from the start.
