The four of them had reached Kodaikanal on time for lunch

When Kathir got the control he played his playlist which was a very eclectic mix.. there were tamil, hindi and english songs..old and new.. chandrababu songs and PBS hits were clearly his favourite
The 4 of them sang along the loudest for Kathir's songs
But when he started playing hindi and english songs especially old country and rock and roll Meena was zapped

The mood in the car got a little solemn but the very next song livened them up
And finally they arrived at kodaikanal
They checked in and after freshening up went for boating
After boating they came back to the hotel
Dinner they were going separate ways
Kathir went in and freshened himself up
When he came out he simply wore the clothes Mullai had laid out for him
This evening it was a white linen trouser and a nice green linen shirt..a chinese collar shirt
Even Kathir could make out that he was looking dashing in that outfit
Mullai went into shower next
Kathir quickly retrieved the item out of his bag and laid it out on the bed
He also retrieved a folded paper from the side zipper and wrote something on it and placed it on the item
As a last minute inspiration he took a red rose from the flower arrangement in the room and placed it on the note
Giving himself one last look in the mirror he went out of the room closing the door behind him
She came out draped in a red saree and was puzzled to find the room empty

He even had included a matching petticoat and she was very surprised but there actually was a matching blouse as well
A small jewel box had a delicate chain with a heart shaped pendant studded with the tiniest of pearls, thin bangles with similar small pearls studding them and pearl anklets
She wore the saree and the accessories
She took time to apply some makeup
Dress for him she did
The note amongst other things had asked her to join him for dinner at the rooftop
She half ran there wanting to see him..with all intentions of launching herself into his arms and settle there for eternity
At the rooftop Kathir stood leaning against the parapet wall
There was a single table at the centre with a white tuille canopy lit with angel lights
