Sakura P.O.V
After I woke up from fainting, we were sitting by river at an abandoned village, Uncle Pigsy was washing his blue coat by the river, Mei was balancing her family's sword on her nose, Uncle Tang was re-reading a scroll, and MK was drawing
"Blue ain't really my color, but uh... beats looking like that monster Zhu Ganglie" Uncle Pigsy said as put on the blue coat and flicked off the hat off of his head
"Technically, you'll be Zhu Bajie. Now that your on Journey to the West" Uncle Tang said
"Oh, no, no, no. Don't go comparing me to that demon. My name is just plain old Pigsy" Uncle Pigsy said and his blue coat opened itself showing off his stomach. He quickly covered his stomach as his cheeks turned red
"I can't wait to meet my ancestor, Ao Lie. I bet he was mega cool! Right, Tangy?" Mei asked
"Ha ha ha... Um... Well..." Uncle Tang looked nervous for some reason
"I wonder when we'll meet my ancestor?" MK asked
"I thought Monkey King was your dad" Mei said
"He's not my dad. Pigsy's my dad" MK said as he pointed at Uncle Pigsy with his crayon
"Uh... Kid, I'm not exactly your..." Uncle Pigsy was trying to say something, but got nothing
"Hey, Mei. Why do you think Monkey King is MK's dad?" I asked, but Uncle Tang answered the question
"Mei does have a point" Then Uncle Tang brought down a screen with a projection "MK, the rest of us had mysteriously inherited the powers from the ancient warriors. However, Monkey King is the original companion that we know for sure is still alive. And yet you've inherited all of his powers. So, it is possible that-" Then MK pushed the screen back up
"Yeah, right. If Monkey King was really my dad, don't you think he would've said something by now?" MK said
'That's a very good point' I thought to myself
"Yeah, cause he's normally so forthcoming with information" Mei said sounding a bit sarcastic, then her sword fell to the ground
"Well, whatever. When we find Monkey King's stone then we'll just ask him" MK said, making both Uncle Pigsy and Mei look confused
"What?/Monkey King's huh?" Both Uncle Pigsy and Mei said in unison
"Monkey King's stone? You mean the stone that he was born out of?" I asked
"Yes! Ever since I got into the scroll, I've been having visions of Monkey King standing next to his stone" MK said
"Wha?! You didn't think to mention that sooner?!" Uncle Pigsy yelled
"Actually, MK isn't the only one" I said and everyone looked at me "When we got dragged into the scroll, I kept hearing this calm voice. Telling me that I'll be able to meet them soon. But I still have no idea who the voice belongs to"
"Sakura..."
"Anyways, I'm telling you guys now. If we find the stone, we'll find Monkey King and he can explain to all of you how he's definitely not my dad and everything is fine. So less yappy and more-" Then MK became silent
"MK? Are you okay?" I was about to touch his shoulder, when suddenly everything in our surroundings became dark, and the same ink demons popped up
"Ah! The scroll's curse! It found us!" Uncle Tang said
"Tang, get us out of here!" Uncle Pigsy said as he summoned his rake. Uncle Tang pulled out the scroll, but the wind blew it away
"Oh no! My cheat sheet!" Uncle Tang cried
"Forget about the cheat sheet! It's exam time, baby!" Mei shouted
Uncle Tang closed his eyes as he hit the ground with his monk staff and the same spell circle appeared on the ground. While Uncle Tang was preparing to teleport us, I heard someone's voice
"Well, well, well~ What do we have here?" I looked in a different direction and saw a girl with sliver hair, fox ears, a tail and heterochromia eyes; her left eye is sliver and her right eye is dark blue. She was looking at me with a malicious grin
"Iris? Wh- What...?" MK was to saying something, but the fox girl named Iris cut him off
"What am I doing? Isn't it obvious? I'm here to kill her!" She pointed at me
"What?! Why!?" I asked
"I don't need to answer. So, do me a favor, stay still so I can kill you!" Iris rushed over as she pulled out a scythe, while Iris was charging at me, the ink demons merged together and a giant ink demon of a elephant appeared holding a huge hammer. Both Mei and I quickly pulled out our swords. I blocked Iris's attack and Mei blocked the ink elephant attack but it resulted our blades to be broken from the strong impact. We crashed into Uncle Tang and we managed to get teleported somewhere
No One P.O.V - With Pigsy
Pigsy landed on the ground hard from the teleportation, once he got up to stretch his back, his back made a creaking sound
"Oh. Yep. Oh, that's broke. Nice going, Tang" Pigsy said, but soon realized he was all alone
With Tang
"Alright, Pigsy. Before you get mad..." Tang felt someone touching his back, making him freeze for a moment
With Mei
Mei was on the ground, crying for her broken sword
"Wha? No... My family's sword... It can't be!" While Mei was crying, she failed to noticed a group of soldiers surrounding her as they pointed their weapons at her
With Sakura
Sakura felt someone shaking her a bit, when she woke up, she recognized the girl and she quickly moved away from her
"Stay back!" Sakura shouted
"I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm not like the other Iris that you already met" The other Iris said with a calm voice, and Sakura remembered that voice
"Wait... Are you the voice that I heard before?" Sakura asked, and she noticed the eyes. Her left eye is dark blue and her right eye is sliver. She walked towards Sakura and handed her broken sword
"No... Konohana's sword..." Sakura looked at the now broken blade with a sad look
"Follow me. There's somewhere I want to show you" The other Iris said, and Sakura followed her
With Pigsy
"Uh..." Pigsy felt both nervous and scared in his surroundings
With Tang
Tang notices a village full of pregnant women with either their daughters or with their newborns.
"Oh look, a monk" A woman said
A young woman was holding a cup of water with a kind smile and her baby on her back who also smiled at Tang. Then Tang finally realized where he was, he screamed as he immediately teleported out of there
Mei P.O.V
When those guys held my arms behind me, they took me to what looks like a castle, and I struggled to free myself
"I don't know who you dorks are, but hands off the merchandise! If I had my sword, I'd slice ya and dice ya!" I shouted and I pushed inside and fell onto the ground
"Well, well, well. Who is this little creature that comes wandering into my den?" I looked up and saw a guy sitting on a throne
"Who are you?! What am I doing here?! What do you want?!" I shouted
"Feisty. Very well" The guy stood up from his throne "Allow me to tell you a tale"
"Oh, it's okay. I should go..." I was about to leave, but the guy started telling his tale
'Oh boy'
"There once was a Celestial Guard who fell deeply in love with Jade Maiden. However, their love was forbidden. And so, by his hand, he sacrificed their immortality, that they might be reborn in the mortal realm, their union unbound by the rules of heaven. But fate moves slowly. To prolong his mortal life, the Guard ensnared and devoured powerful souls that wandered into his domain as he awaited the return of his beloved. But then, he met with a beautiful goddess traveling one day. He soon realized that the goddess has some similarities to his beloved and tries to pursue her, but sadly cannot enter the Celestial realm. He believed his beloved has been reborn as a goddess and blames heaven for taking her away once again" Once the man finishes his story
"Wait! Hang on a sec!" I said
"I am Kui Mulang, Guard of the Celestial Court, one of the 28 Mansions of the White Tiger and Devourer of Earthly souls. I have a feeling your chi will be especially... Xinla" Kui Mulang said with a grin
"Oh, I'll be spicy alright!" I charged towards him "White Horse Dragon Pepper Girl comin' right up!" I was to hit him, but traps me
"Such power, and yet powerless to use it" Kui Mulang said as he teleported me to what looks like a prison cell and locks me in
"Nnnooooo!" I cried
"Ah, another poor soul awaiting their fate at the hands of Kui Mulang" I turned around and a guy who looks about my age but seems older was sitting on the ground with a carefree smile
No One P.O.V Just a video of Tang teleporting everywhere to find his friends
Mei P.O.V
I tried to kick the cell door open, but I ended up getting hurting myself, and I heard the carefree guy chuckling at me
"What's so funny, guy?" I asked sounding agitated
"Oh, it's just, you know, you remind me of my sister. She too is impulsive" The carefree guy said
"Sounds like a cool gal. You know what's cooler? You helping me, bust, down, this, door!" I said as I continued on trying to break down the cell door "This would be easier if I still had my sword"
"Why don't you just make a new sword?" The carefree guy asked
"Oh, yeah! I'll just magically make myself a brand-new one of a kind ancient family sword! Any other bright ideas, or are you going to get over here and help me?" I asked, trying not to lose my temper. Then carefree guy started to get up but he ended up tripping and laughs
"Did you see? I-I just fell and bonked my brain cage. Ow" The carefree guy said not looking hurt or anything
"Ugh... This guy" I facepalmed myself "Forget it! I just assumed that you were in here cause that yellow-robed jerk wanted your powers too" I said
"I'm sure he does. But all they've ever done s get me in trouble, so..." The carefree guy trailed off as he looked at his covered hands
"Wait! So you're just sitting here waiting to throw away your powers? That's dumb!" I said
"Beg your pardon?" The carefree guy looked surprised
"What's the point of having power if you won't use it? Don't you have people you want to protect?" I asked
"Of course I do. But I can't protect them with careless actions" The carefree guys said
"Inaction is careless! If you're not giving everything you have to protect the people you care about, you are nothing! I would watch my sword shatter into pieces a thousand times so long as I used it to protect the ones I care about. If you're just gonna sit here and screw around, then maybe you don't deserve power" I said
"And perhaps with greater caution, you would still have your sword" I was shocked that this carefree guy said that to me and I gritted my teeth in anger "I know a thing or two about disappointing people, about feeling powerless to protect them, but I do not sense that you are not disappointment. Even now, locked away in imminent danger, your thoughts are to protect others" The carefree guy said
"But how am I supposed to protect everyone if I don't have a sword?" I asked
"A sword is powerless without the hand that wields it" The carefree guy said
"What does that even mean?!" I shouted
"Ah, you know just some wise sage stuff. Did you like it? I made it up myself. Like right now" The carefree guy said
Tang P.O.V
After teleporting to almost every location, I landed on the stony ground and feeling exhausted
"Sigh... At this rate, it's going to take me forever to find the others" I said, and I saw something in front of me. I freaked out a bit, but calmed down when I saw it was Mo "Mo! Oh, my Great Sage! I didn't even know you were in here" Then Mo covered my mouth and I heard voices coming from below, I peeked to see who it was. There I saw Macaque and two familiar looking ones from the ink demons
"Wukong is a traitor! He'll end us the first chance he gets!" The bird man said
"Yes. The Stone Monkey is unpredictable. Now he's thrown his lot in with the Celestial Host, there's no telling where his true allegiance lie" The elephant man said, and the bird man looked at Macaque
"You're characteristically quiet, Macaque"
"I just think we should consider all our options before we-" Then the bird man cut Macaque off
"What's to consider? Wukong had made his choice! I say we strike him down now while we have the chance! The Jade Emperor will pay for what he did to Konohana as well!" The bird man said
'Huh? What did the Jade Emperor do to Konohana?' I asked myself
"And what say you... Azure?" The elephant man asked and I looked in the direction he was looking at, sitting on a throne was the Azure Lion. I gasped when I remembered the drawing of the Azure Lion on the instructions that I lost
"Is that Azure Lion? I got a bad feeling about this Mo" I said and continued to listen on
Mei P.O.V Nighttime
Both the carefree guy and I had our arms tied behind our back by Kui Mulang's magic
"The time has come for you to lend me your enegry to a greater cause. What do you say?" Kui Mulang used his magic to bring the carefree guy close him "Beauty first" Kui Mulang then took out a dagger
"No! What is he doing?" I tried to walk forward, but the magic was holding me back "Move! Before it's too late!' I shouted but he didn't move. I used my powers to break free, once I was free, I charged forward and blocked the dagger's target. I deflected it and I was surprised that I was able to create a new sword
"Huh? You insolent little..." Kui Mulang charged towards me, and I decided to do the same
"White Horse Dragon Pepper Girl comin' right up!" I was able to push that yellow-robed jerk back and he hit the wall, and I looked at the carefree guy "Sorry, I thought it was the right time to be careless" I said, and I heard an explosion
"I'll just do this the old fashioned way and tear your flesh from you bones!" Kui Mulang said as he changed into a giant monster wolf and lunges towards us. Then the carefree guy ran past me and blocked the attack
"Huh? Why didn't you do that sooner?" I asked
"Because now seemed like the right time for action" He said and smiled
"Huh? Mei? Oh, oh, Mei!" Tang rushed towards me and saw my new sword "Woah, nice sword" And turned to look forward and saw the carefree guy and went into fanboy mode for some reason "Aaaahhh! It's you! Mei's great, great, great thousand times great grandfather Ao Lie!"
My eyes widen at what I just learned
"I cannot hold him back much longer. Go, I will give you an opening" Ao Lie said
"Knew you were cool" I said
"You really think so?" Ao Lie asked with his cheerful grin and changed into a dragon
"So cool!" I said with stars in my eyes as Tang teleported us out of there
MK P.O.V short one
I was starting to wake up and I was wondering where the heck I am. And I noticed some steps going down, I turned around and saw a temple. Then a woman walked out
"Are you ready to see the master?" She asked me
"Uh..." I had nothing to say
Sakura P.O.V
I was following the other Iris somewhere, but where is she even leading me? And why is she so different from the other Iris that tried to kill me? Did I do something to her?
"We are here" The other Iris said, and my eyes widen
"This place..." The area we were in... It was the rows of cherry blossom trees
"Yes, this is where you found and where Konohana was buried" The other Iris said
"Why are we here?" I asked
"I want to show you the memories that were sealed away from long ago" The other Iris said as she lifted up her hand and the biggest cherry blossom tree started to glow. The next thing I knew was being surrounded by the bright light
