Y/N's POV:
I didn't know what to do. Run, scream? Nah, that's way too dramatic. I decided to follow him like a lost puppy because I had nothing better to do. Even though I am scared and shaking like a leaf on the inside.
I shouldn't let him know that.
"I thought I told you to wait for me in the hall," said Jungkook as he turned back and raised an eyebrow at me.
"I don't want to. I am too scared to sit there alone," I mumbled but what I thought was that I could only hear it to myself but boy was I wrong.
"Y/n, you just met me. How could you already have trust in me this early?" asked Jungkook as he came closer to me.
I couldn't help but gulp at how mesmerizing her face was.
I could see a faint snake on both his left cheek and his neck. A faint scar on his right cheek. Not only until now did I notice he had tattoos covered on his right arm as he had folded the hands of his shirt. His eyes were in the deepest shade of purple and his hair similar to the texture of cotton candy, tempting me to play with it and his Adam's apple that I wanted to trace when it bobs up and down.
In conclusion, he looks so freaking hot.
"You are supposed to be scared, aren't you? Also, take a picture it lasts longer," said Jungkook as he smirked at me.
I noticed how Jungkook passed the kitchen to a flight of stairs and I couldn't help but ask:
"Where are you going? Isn't this the kitchen?"
Even though his back was facing me I could tell he was rolling his eyes due to annoyance.
"Don't you see, I am in my professional outfit?" he hissed at me.
"Okay! I'll wait in the kitchen," I said acting like the hissing wasn't scary.
I swear I did hear a snake's hiss along with his voice and his face and neck tattoos glowing up.
I went to the kitchen but I don't know why the hell did I find that his sexy as heck. I pinched to see if it was happening and yes it was.
I sat on the counter waiting for him as I observed the kitchen.
The kitchen was vintage-themed. Wooden-made cabinets, Wooden floors and tables. It is like a cottage. A cosy cottage.
I tied my hair into a bun as I admired a painting that hung on the wall. It was a beautiful island, covered with pine trees and surrounding it was aquamarine waters.
Wait, how did they draw a scenery that should possibly only be seen on Earth? Judging from the environment and the sky of this world.
I shrugged off all the thoughts as played with the chip of my nails. Wouldn't my mother worry about me? I suddenly felt tears brimming my eyes at the thought of my mother crying. Gosh, I already feel homesick. I will somehow get out of here.
"I'm back woman," said Jungkook.
He wore a black oversized t-shirt with some basketball shorts and his hair which was slicked back was now in a high bun.
At first, he eyed me up and now probably judging why I was sitting on the counter he shook his head and opened the fridge to take some eggs out.
"Don't mind me asking, what is your profession?"
"Why should I answer that?" he asked as he took some ramen packets out of a cabinet.
"It is better than the quiet and uncomfortable environment. Also, I think I am going to be here for a while," I answered him back.
"Tell me about yourself first," said Jungkook as he began chopping some spring onions.
"I am Kang Y/n. I am 22 years old. I am a literature student who later will be a journalist,"
I saw how Jungkook's ear perked up when I said the literature as he looked at me.
"Literature?!"
"Yeah, Tell me about yourself,"
"Jungkook, 24 years old. I am an English professor,"
"Wha- "
"In the demon world, we get full-time jobs by the age of 18, part-time jobs by the age of 10, if I am right with your human ages," said Jungkook.
I nodded as I took in the new information.
But something that was left in the back of my mind came back.
My Assignment!
"Uhm, Jungkook?"
"Yes, what do you need?" he asked sighing.
I chuckled at how easily he got annoyed.
He looked at me with a puzzled face.
"Nothing. Since you are an English professor, can you help me with my assignment?"
"To Jesus Christ, heck no,"
I pouted at the rejection to which Jungkook looked at my lips and then back to my eyes.
"What is it about?"
"It is about you guys. Demons. Help me?"
"Still no, but I know a place where you could find some source of information for your assignment.
I jumped from the countertop and hugged him from behind and thanked him.
At first, Jungkook's body tensed up, but then he continued his cooking.
I couldn't help but say how warm his body was. I could already feel his abs even though he was wearing a shirt.
"Y/n, a fun fact about me?"
"Go ahead,"
"I can see in the dark. I can smell my enemies from a mile away. Also, I can read people's minds, whether mortal or immortal,"
And that made me run to the hall as I could hear Jungkook's deep chuckles echoing in the hallway.
