Happy reading ♡

Aadhya looked at herself in the mirror. She was wearing an off shoulder white ball gown which had a slit till her thighs. It was exactly what she believed. Less is more.

Wearing the minimal jewelry and leaving her hairs open with little curls, she was looking elegant, satisfied with her looks.

"Isn't it too much for a birthday party?" She ended up asking Kirti, who was Dhruv's wife as well and a fashion designer. If she wanted, she would have wore one of her old gowns and not the customized one.

"Aadhya, you're wife of Aayansh Rajvanshi and today is his birthday. You should be standing out from everyone." Kirti assured her as they walked down the stairs.

"I had to ask your sister-in-law about your likes and dislikes for a gown." Aadhya smiled.

"And I loved it. I'm gonna come to you everytime now."

"Your most welcome." Laughing while talking here and there, the two ladies walked to the backyard which was converted into the venue for the the party. The only thing she was glad about was that it was a private party and no media was allowed inside the venue, making it easy for her to not face the weird and uneasy questions about her wedding day.

She was looking around the decor and some familiar faces but when she looked beside her, it was Aayansh instead of Kirti, who was already looking at her.

She is fucking beautiful!! Aayansh muttered to himself as he looked at her, from head to toe.

The white color complement her skin well. His hands were itching to touch her skin, her nude lips, he wanted to taste them. As much of the pervert he sounded right now, he couldn't help but to check her out.

The fucking sexy collar bone and the little cleavage visible wasn't doing any justice to him but he had to look away. He shouldn't make her uncomfortable with his stares but at the same time All he wanted to do was to leave this party right there with her.

"I'll go and meet Maa and Papa." Aadhya pointed at her parents feeling shy under his gaze.

He stood there and stared at her until Dhruv came to him.

"Your wife is damn beautiful." Dhruv teased Aayansh as he kept his arm over his shoulder.

"I'm more than sure that you have your own." Aayansh rolled his eyes. Even if he knew that Dhruv was joking around, he couldn't help but glare at his best friend.

"Seemed like her hotness isn't helping you at all." Aayansh cursed under his breath, hearing his best friend but of course, he needed to control himself.

"Can I use your bedroom. Kirti is too hot to handle today." Dhruv questioned, staring at his wife who was now standing with Aadhya.

"Don't you have a bathroom kink?" Aayansh raised his eyebrows.

"Fuck you." Dhruv whispered, digging in his pocket and dialled Kirti.

"Your wife, I'm straight. You can use the guest room." Aayansh said, looking at him.

______^_____

"Woah, Kya baat hai. You both are twinning." Riya exclaimed looking at Aadhya and then at Aayansh who was standing beside her

"Not bad Jiju. The theme of the party is black while you two are in white." Mahi said, nudging Aadhya's shoulder.

"Of course, match made in heaven." Aditi joined them, with a teasing smile. Aadhya tried to hide her shy smile while Aayansh, he wasn't able to take his eyes off from her.

"Bhai, thoda idhar udhar bhi dhyaan do. You're staring at her since she walked into the venue." Shivam said, smirking a little.

(Brother, look here and there as well.)

"Tu aaj kuch jyada hi nhi uad rha. I saw your gift." Aayansh rolled his eyes at his brother while the other were engaged in their conversation.

(You're flying way too high.)

"Pasand aaya? Vese, kyu nhi aayega. It must be your necessity these days." Shivam wiggled his eyebrows.

(Did you like it? Well why won't you.)

"Kya diya? Kya diya? Muje bhi batao." Rithik who was silently hearing their conversation Suddenly questioned.

(What did you gifted. Show it to me as well.)

"Gaav bsa nhi, bhikhari pahle Aa gye." Aayansh muttered under his breath before walking away from there while Shivam and Rithik held their laugh.

(The village haven't been settled but the beggars came first.)

Aayansh was standing in a corner as he wasn't a party person at all, holding his drink when Reyaan joined him.

"Happy birthday, Aayansh." Reyaan said but he had a glare on his face instead of a smile.

"Thank you." Aayansh mumbled.

"Remember my warning, Aayansh Rajvanshi." Reyaan looked at him and then glanced at Aadhya.

Aditi caught Reyaan and Aayansh standing together and elbowed Aadhya.

"Seems like Reyaan will eat your husband alive today." She whispered, making Aadhya sigh.

"Reyaan bhai should really stop being angry at him. It wasn't his fault." Aadhya mumbled, earning a positive nod from Aditi.

"I'll see him, you should enjoy the party." Aditi went away from their, tapping her shoulder in assurance. Aadhya's eyes followed her and soon she saw, Aditi taking Reyaan away.

She looked away immediately when Aayansh and she made an eye contact but it wasn't the end.

Her eyes landed on the person she never wanted to see or least expected here.

Karan, who had a smug on his face raised the Glass of bear he was holding when Aadhya looked at him and she saw him coming towards her a while later.

She clutched onto the dress and felt anxiety rising in her body. She didn't want to ruin the party just because of her so turning her heels, she started walking towards the mansion.

Aayansh whose eyes were on her saw her walking out of the venue so keeping his drink aside, followed her. Her uneasiness didn't go unnoticed by him.

Aayansh held her wrist to stop her but Aadhya yanked away his hand, making him look at her in surprise as well as shock.

Aadhya looked back at the person and found Aayansh. Sighing in relief She turned her head a little to look back but found no one. Karan was standing among some guests now.

"What's wrong?" He asked, reading the panicked expression on her face and followed her gaze. Aadhya shook her head negatively.

"Are you alright?" He asked being a little suspicious. It was too unusual for someone to yank away someone's hand like that, until.....until they feel that it's a bad touch.

Aayansh gritted his teeth at the possibility of it but then looked at Aadhya, who was already looking a little pale.

Aayansh, control yourself. You can't make her comfortable by asking anything like last time.

"Yeah I'm. I was feeling a little uneasy since there were so many people." She mumbled, with an awkward smile.

"Want to ditch the party with me?" Aayansh asked, raising his eyebrows. She needed it anyway.

"Can we?" She questioned.

"We can." He nodded, enthusiastically.

"Can I hold your hand?" Aayansh asked, this time a little unsure. Aadhya realised the uncertainty in his voice because She earlier yanked away his hand, thinking that it was Karan.

Nodding her head, she held his hand and both of them walked into the house.

"Where are we going?" She asked, curious and confused at the same time when they were in the house.

"Wait a minute, hmm." He said and walked in the direction of kitchen. A while later, he came with a box in his hands. She wasn't able to decipher his actions but nevertheless, followed him to the elevator.

Aayansh pressed the button of top floor and soon, they were there.

"Terrace." Aadhya's eyes sparkled when he said and climbing the stairs, finally they were on the rooftop.

"It's been a while since I enjoyed watching the moon from the rooftop." She mumbled and walked ahead, feeling the cool breeze hitting her skin, which were calming down her nerves.

Aayansh followed her behind and finally, sat on the little couch.

"What's in that box?" Aadhya pointed a few minutes later.

"Oh this." Aayansh picked up the box and opened it.

"Cupcakes." He saw her eyes sparkling when her eyes landed on the Cupcakes.

"I love Cupcakes." She exclaimed and immediately picked one of them and took a bite.

"Damn these are the best Cupcakes I ever had." She moaned a little, enjoying the taste of it.

Aayansh, it's not time to have unholy thoughts.

He scolded himself and clearing his throat, looked to the other side. A few seconds later, when he looked back at her, she abruptly stopped eating and looked at him with wide eyes.

"What's wrong?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"It's your birthday and I ate first. I feel horrible." She concluded, gulping down the morsel.

"It's alright." He nodded, assuring her, but shaking her head a little, she outstretched her hand and kept the Cupcake she was holding near his mouth.

"Oh sorry, ye mera jhootha hai," She was about to pull her hand back when Aayansh held her hand by wrist and took a small bite of the cupcake, leaving her astonished.

(Sorry, I have eaten this a little.)

"Happy?" He mumbled, to which she just nodded and pulled her hand back.

"From where did you order these. I'd love to order from the same place because they are really tasty." She asked after a while to ease the awkwardness.

"I baked." He shrugged.

"You made- her eyes widened a little.

"Oh yes, I almost forgot that you're a chef." She chuckled a bit, answering herself.

"Tell me whenever you want to eat. I'll Bake." She heard him saying.

"What a privilege of having a chef husband. You get to eat whatever you want to." She mumbled and looked at Aayansh, who was already staring at her.

Why this man is always looking at me!!

"By the way, aren't you going back to the party?" She questioned further.

"I informed dad about it." She nodded listening to him. Eating the last bite of the cupcake, she looked at Aayansh.

"Can I take one more?" She asked and he sweared, he'd give her the world if she ever asked him with those eyes.

"as much as you want." He gave her the box. Picking up a Cupcake, she gave one to Aayansh and picked up another for herself.

"Two are enough for today." She mumbled and closed the box. Aayansh furrowed his eyebrows when he was about to take a bite from his cupcake.

"You don't measure while eating." He said, gaining her attention she smiled awkwardly before looking away.

She never realised until now when she started measuring the calories and the amount of food she had to intake, in order to not gain weight. She have heard enough from people about her being chubby in her teenage years.

Finishing the cupcake, she saw Aayansh opening the box again.

"I'm done." She said, her lips tugging into a smile.

"Come-on, it isn't that bad for you to have only two." She heard him saying.

Looking at him, Aayansh gestured with his eyebrows for her to pick up another one and hesitantly, she did because she loved it and she'd obviously eat more if for once, she stops looking at how much calories it will count.

Almost half an hour and Aayansh got a call to come back to the party. Aadhya stood up and picking up the box of Cupcakes, started walking towards the door.

Aayansh, who followed her was about to keep the phone back into his pocket when one of the notifications caught his eyes. His steps halted as he opened the message.

Happy birthday, Aayu.

There's only one person who calls him by this name and realising it, he couldn't help but to feel enraged. His hands formed a fist and his eyes turned red with anger while staring at the text.

Anger and rage was rising in his blood each passing second. He was trying to control for the sake of Aadhya, who haven't disappeared from his sight yet but when he couldn't, he turned back and threw his phone, which smashed into pieces after crashing against the wall.

Aadhya turned back after hearing a crashing sound and her eyes first caught the phone which was into pieces now and then Aayansh, whose back was facing her.

Running his hands through his hair, Aayansh turned and found Aadhya staring at him. She switched her glances between the phone and him and found him fuming in anger. His chest was heaving up and down, consequences of how much he was trying to control himself.

His knuckles were turning white by now and looking at him like this, she had no courage to ask him what sudden got into him.

Without a word, Aayansh walked towards her but then walked past her while she stood there, deciphering what got him suddenly.

Once she was into the living room, Aayansh wasn't walking out of the house for the party but was in his room.

"Where's Aayansh?" She heard Naveen's voice who walked into the living room.

Turning around to look at him, she debated if she should tell him about what happened or not but then, it was only Naveen who could talk to his son when he's angry.

"We're on the terrace and were coming back but I don't know what he saw in his phone that he ended up breaking his phone. Vo bhot gusse me bhi lag rhe the and without saying anything, he locked himself in the room." Aadhya said and Naveen could see how scared she was at the moment.

(He was angry as well)

He shook his head at the irresponsibility of his son but then, smiled a little at Aadhya and patted her head.

"Don't worry. You go back and enjoy the party. I'll talk to him." She nodded and worriedly looked at Naveen who walked into Aayansh's room.

"Aayansh." Naveen knocked at the door and waited for some minutes until the door opened.

"Are you okay? And Kya Hua, why are you in your room?" Naveen asked, looking at his son whose back was facing him.

(What happened?)

"She texted me." His tone was bitter.

"Wishing me a fucking happy birthday. Which isn't happy anymore. She ruined it." Aayansh shouted, throwing away the vase on the table, which crashed into pieces once touched the floor.

"Wasn't she the one who abandoned me, then why now. Why she always ruins my birthday with her one text. I didn't care it until now but I was happy today because Aadhya is with me but then, she can't see me happy. She have to snatch away my happiness everytime."

Naveen gulped down, listening his son's cracked voice. His son was too strong for the world but for him, he was still a 7 year old Aayansh with a broken and fragile heart.

Walking to him, Naveen engulfed him into a hug.

"Some people realise their mistakes after they lose everything. Maybe she realised it as well." He mumbled, patting his back.

"Until now, you didn't have anyone who shares her life with you but you have Aadhya now. She was scared seeing you like this. Don't ruin your happiness for someone else, Aayansh. Don't waste your energy into something which belongs to your past rather than creating happy memories of your present. Don't end this day on a bitter note. Even though I told her to leave for the party, I'm sure she's waiting for you." Aayansh nodded, retreating his figure back from his father's embrace.

"I'm sorry." He mumbled, rubbing his palms over his face.

"It's not me, you should be apologizing to." He heard his father before naveen walked out of his room.

And true to his words, Aadhya was still waiting in the living room.

"He's coming." Naveen smiled at her, patting her head and walked away.

Almost 10 minutes later, she saw him walking down the stairs but this time, when he looked at her his face wasn't hard with rage and anger but Aayansh saw the hesitancy covering her face.

Congratulations Aayansh, you ruined everything again !!

"Are you okay?" Was the first thing she asked, once he stood in front of her. Aayansh nodded his head.

"I'm sorry. I ruined this day for you, didn't I." He looked at her apologetically.

"It's your birthday and until and unless you're happy, you didn't ruin it." He finally felt himself at ease once she smiled.

Well I know, you all would be having a lot of questions after reading this chapter and that's exactly was my intention 🤭❤
