Y/n knocked on a door in the academy, he waited while nodding in and out of sleep. The door was showing Jaune in his pajamas.
Jaune: Y/n? It's late.
Y/n: do you have an empty bed?
Jaune: what, why what's wrong with your dorm?
Y/n:...please?
Jaune looked and saw Y/n was desperate.
Jaune: ok come in.
Jaune invited Y/n into the room and he saw Nora and Ren sleeping.
Jaune: do you need a spare pair of pajamas?
Y/n: no I'm not sleeping...I didn't want to be alone tonight is all.
Y/n just sat on empty the bed under Jaune while he got back to sleep. After a bit, Jaune heard Y/n quietly humming a familiar melody.
Jaune: Y/n?
Y/n: oh sorry, you sound like you were having trouble sleeping because you're breathing wasn't calm. so I thought I'd hum a bit.
Jaune: you can hear me breathing?
Y/n: yes I have four ears...so that's double hearing...I'll stop if you want.
Jaune: no I was just wondering what the song was.
Y/n fell silent making Jaune a bit concerned that he made him upset lucky it wasn't the case.
Y/n I think it was called togetherness.
Jaune: what's it about?
Y/n: I dunno...
Jaune: can...you sing it?
Y/n appeared on the edge of the bed Jaune was laying in with a tired smile he nodded and stared out the window.
By the time y/n finished Jaune was fast asleep. As promised the next morning Y/n was gone.

A couple of hours later 2 limousines were parked in front of the Schnee mansion. Filled with team Rwby, Jn_r, Y/n, Penny, Mary, Oscar, Ironwood, Winter, and the AceOps. Coming out from the limousine they were greeted by Whitley.
Whitley: good evening everyone- Y/n?
Y/n: Whitley hey.
Whitley: I almost didn't recognize you without the dress.
There was a lot to unpack between these two. Weiss cleared her throat getting the attention of both of them.
Weiss: where's Klein?
Whitley: hm, what an interesting way to say " hello brother dearest how you've been" I'm afraid you won't find him, he's been let go, and I can't fathom a reason why.
Weiss gasped at the news looking to the ground in guilt.
Whitley: General, just exactly how big do you think our table is?
Ironwood: I happen to know that it is enormous, but most of my guests will be standing by in case it requires attention from eyewitnesses. Until then I'm sure they ate happy to celebrate your father's victory.
Whitley groaned and let everyone inside.
Y/n: wow this place looks so much more vibrant and less spooky with people in it.
Weiss: how do you know that?
Y/n: uhhhhh. I may have snuck around looking for you.
Weiss: wha-
Whitley: for those who will be joining the dining room please follow me.
Ironwood, Winter, Penny, Mary, and Clover followed Whitley.
Clover: wish us luck.
Qrow: they already invited you didn't they?
Qrow turned and a waiter offered him a drink, but Qrow declined to gain a smile from his niece.
Qrow: I'll stick to patrolling the area.
Marrow saw that one of the waiters was a Faunus, and this somehow upset him.
Marrow: words right out of my mouth.
Harriet: right well, don't wander off, don't break anything, and be ready in case calls you.
The AceOps walked off to patrol leaving team rwby and jn_r.
Yang: counterpoint, how about we wander off, consider breaking things, and all that other stuff?
Weiss: I'll be in touch.
Weiss walked off to snoop around, Ruby moving closer to Y/n.
Ruby: Y/n?
Y/n shrieked and moved away.
Ruby: sorry, but can we talk?
Y/n looked around as Ruby got closer until he saw Weiss being stopped by Whitley.
Y/n: can't that kid just buzz off?
Blake: we need to do something.
Y/n appeared between them hoisting Whitley over his head.
Y/n: hey Whitley, you wanna do friend things? I sure do let's go weeeeeee!!!
Y/n ran off carrying Whitley confusing other partygoers and team Rwby and JN_R.
Yang: That was...strange?
Blake: but...effective?
Ruby looked sad after Y/n left before she could even apologize.
Y/n eventually stopped running when and put Whitley down.
Whitley: what was that about?
Y/n: sorry, hey I-It's been a while hasn't it?
Whitley: it has.
The two just sat there in silence looking out to the night sky.
Y/n: I'm sorry I didn't mean you drag you out here, I just need to get away-
Whitley: you used me as a scapegoat?
Y/n: no...maybe...ok yes.
Whitley: honesty that's just silly, but I should expect as much. Just point them out to me and I'll have them escorted off the premises-
Y/n: no please don't do that.
Whitley: why shouldn't I? I won't tolerate people making my friend uncomfortable.
Y/n: because...
Y/n sighed and sat on the ground looking up.
Y/n: it's a friend...well more than friends... I don't think I'm strong enough to confront her...it hurts.
Whitley just took a set next to him and looked along with him.
Whitley: I don't what you're going through, but if it was me, I would just try and talk to them, because even if it hurts...I'd know they're worth it.
Y/n looked at Whitley and sighed and smiled, and got.
Y/n: right, I'm gonna do that. Thanks, Whitley.
Y/n began walking back inside but before he left and took off his bell.
Y/n: I don't know how tonight will turn out, but I'd to know that you'll be okay.
Y/n handed Whitley his bell, much to Whitley's confusion.
Whitley: what is the bell supposed to do?
Y/n: you'll see when you ring it, but Hope you won't have to...so just hold on to it for me.
Y/n walked off leaving Whitley very confused.

Y/n was walking through the hallway and seemed to be lost.
Y/n: I really should have remembered where was running.
Suddenly Y/n was pulled into a closet.
Y/n: whack!
Y/n looked and saw that the person was...
Y/n: Ruby?
Ruby smiled at him and his chest began to hurt, but y/n ignored it because she was worth it.
Y/n: Ruby I-I-mph
Before he could get a word out Ruby began kissing him, I wasn't able to stop her so he eventually gave in. He soon pushed her off him and spat out a pill.
Y/n: huh?
He looked and saw Ruby begin to shimmer and into Neo.
Y/n: oh hey Neo- if you're here then Cinder I'd just got to go tell th-
Neo shoved a taser into Y/n's neck shocking him unconscious. Neo smiled and used her shimmer to make him appear as a butler and dragged him out of the closet.
