  Thanks :)

I sighed again as I looked at my watch for the third time since I arrived. Of course he wouldn't come, what was i expecting? It was my...what, third attempt this month? Im kind of desperate.

I readjusted the necklace I had on, a gift from my sister. We haven't seen each other in years, but we had a good relationship. She gifted me this necklace in my 21th birthday. It was a simple gold necklace that had a little ruby in the center of it, which shined with every move I made.

I had put on my red tight dress for today, expecting something nice. But i guess my luck failed...again. It was a dress that was left abandoned in my closet since my college years, where i really used to party. I'm had put on some high heels as well, red ones too. I had done all my makeup to look even more pretty, but it wasn't worth it.

I had met another guy in one of those dating apps. Im kind of embarrassed to admit it, but yeas. It was Tinder. Since my old boyfriend left me after three years of dating, when i found him with another hooker in our bed, I haven't had any luck finding anyone else. Ive tried it, many times, but it always failed. Either they said I was too energetic or too happy for them, or they simply didn't come to our first date, like tonight.

His profile said he was a gentleman, but he also loved sports. I can't remember his name now, actually. While we chatted for quite a while he sounded really nice, so I was the one who asked to meet. He agreed, and I offered the local karaoke bar from my neighborhood.

But he didn't appear. Such a gentleman, after all. At first i had been waiting for half an hour, ordering one or two beers in between. But when the second hour of waiting alone w¡had passed, I gave up.

The music around blasted in my ears, people dancing around too close for my comfort. There was some random drunk guy doing karaoke right now, and what I supposed to be his friend were cheering on him. There were led flashing lights all over the place too, of all colors. Red, blue, green... it caused me a headache just to look at them.

"Such a night...I should probably go home." I thought bitterly.

I walked to the bar and sat down in one of the stools, my back hunching in frustration. My mind was foggy now, but enough for me to still think clear and not have a slurred speech. I had abandoned the beers after the first hour of waiting, ordering light cocktails or liquor glasses instead.

I lifted a hand to call the bartender, which knew me. There were a few people sitting in the free barstools, but most of them were dancing, so the bartender was cleaning the glasses with a dirty rag. He noticed me calling him and smiled. He knew me, since this wasn't the first time i had come here.

"Yes, L/N? What would you like?" He asked kindly.

Without talking, i simply lifted my empty glass, asking for a refill on whiskey. He nodded and walked to the wall behind him, taking out an almost empty bottle of Macallan and opening it. He filled the glass almost to the brim, a bit more that what he served to normal customers.

"A rough night, I see?" He said smiling in compassion.

I took a large sip of my drink, grimacing at the bitter taste.

"Yeah, sort of. I'm not going to get blackout drunk, so no worries. I was planning to go home in a bit, anyways."

I smiled at him lightly, as to reassure him. We've met for a long time, either me coming here from fun or from tiredness.

He smiled back at me before leaving the dirty rag and clean glasses were they were supposed to be, and walking to another customer. I looked at his direction out of curiosity, sipping in the whiskey. He was asking to a young man dressed in a black suit.

The man had dark brown hair and silver blue eyes. Out of first sight he looked drained down, tired, but it was probably the lights. He whispered something to the bartender while looking at me, and the bartender smiled lightly. He nodded and went to prepare  a drink for the man.

I looked at them with curiosity, but as soon as my gaze met the man's one, I felt the urge to look away,. In a way i felt intimidated, so I started looking at the liquor bottles in the bar. While I was looking, I couldn't resist but to give the mysterious man a side glance, seeing the bartender approach him.

It seemed like he had ordered a dry martini, and another drink for later, which looked just like plain scotch. He took out his wallet, which looked like fine brown leather. He took out a 20 dollar bill and slid it to the bartender which took the money gracefully. He then proceeded to sip on his martini which had specifically three olives in it.

When he looked at me again, his cold gaze inspecting my appearance, I had to look away again. I decided it was time to go home and lifted my hand up again to call the bartender. My mind was really foggy now, and the lights worsened my headache. When I gave a side eye to the man, I saw that he was finishing the scotch glass, sipping on it. With how fast he was drinking I assumed he wanted to get drunk purposefully.

"I'm going home. How much do I have to pay?" I asked.

He smiled at me and suppressed a light laugh.

"Nothing actually. That gentleman there paid for you. He just said to put all of your drinks on his bill." He said pointing at the mysterious man.

The man had the scotch bottle in front of him, refilling his glass whenever he wanted to. When he saw us pointing at him, he simply smirked and continued to drink and mind his own business.

"What? Really? O-Oh, in that case I should go home. Thanks again for all." I said smiling embarrassed and red at the fact that someone had paid my drinks.

It could mean nothing, but still, it made me flustered. I stood up and my knees buckled lightly. I assumed I was a bit more drunk than I thought. Of course. I held for dear life to the bar, trying to regain my balance. I was sort of a lightweight - not gonna lie, so I tend to loose balance after the first two drinks.

I decided to go and thank the man personally myself, and ask the reason to his kindness. When I approached him, he finished his...what, fourth drink with a single gulp and looked at me. His silver blue eyes had that drunken glaze I knew too well, but they still held that cold layer on them. I assumed the man wasn't really sober -  so I tried to be as kind as possible, not knowing how he was going to react.

It was just a precaution -  I've had quite the experiences with aggressive drunk people. I was about to thank him, but my voice got stuck in my throat and my mind went blank.

"Yes, doll?" He said almost in a low growl, his speech barely slurring.

"U-Uh...I just wanted to thank you for paying my drinks, Mr...." I managed to muster out. I didn't know his name, after all.

"Afton. William Afton, but William for you." He said, licking his lips. He smelled like expensive scotch, but not in the bad way.

"Thank you, William. May I ask why did you paid for them? I could have done it." I said.

"You seemed...interesting. I thought we could know each other a bit more. Plus you looked like you had a rough night, dear." He said, smirking and refilling his glass.

I looked down embarrassed. I thought maybe it wasn't noticeable my rough appearance. He lifted my chin with his hand and then patted the stool beside him.

"Don't look down while talking to me, sweetheart. How about you sit down? If you want I can take you home." He offered.

My face went red as soon as he lifted my chin, but I tried to hide it as I sat down.

"If you insist..." I said, slightly embarrassed with how easily I fell into a man's touch.

He called the bartender and ordered a dry martini for me, and he refilled his glass for what...the fifth time? He probably lost count.

After almost an hour of talking we were both drunk, but my drunkenness was way more noticeable than his. I managed to know that he was the owner of a robotics Industries and also owner of a pizzeria chain. I told him my lame story of how i ended alone here, and he sighed in disappointment.

"Such little chivalry there's left today." He muttered emptying the scotch bottle in his hand.

At some point I asked him to go and sing a karaoke round, and he actually looked embarrassed for a second. He accepted tough, and I was beaming with happiness (and drunkenness too). I lifted him off his stool after he paid for the scotch bottle and the martini, and then dragged him to the waiting line. When he stood up his knees buckled sand he almost  tripped over himself, but still followed me with a smile.

After a few minutes of waiting, me jumping  with excitement and him looking at me with a smile, it was our turn. The man in charge of the sound asked us what we would like to sing, and William spoke before I could say anything.

"You give Love a Bad Name, by Bon Jovi." He said to the guy.

Then he turned to me and lifted my chin again, since he was way taller than me.

"You know that song, right, doll?" He asked me and I nodded.

Then, I dragged him to the scenario where there were a few people looking at us.

The song started and he gave me one of the microphones. We started singing in a duet, his low voice mixing with mine, a bit higher in tone. As we sang, more people started looking at us. I couldn't care less thought, as i was way to immersed into singing. He had started hugging me from behind a little ago, and was now rocking us lightly while he sang.

Shot through the heart

And you're to blame

You give love a bad name

I play my part and you play your game

You give love a bad name

Hey, you give love, a bad name

As the song finished, both our voices lowered in volume and when the song was over, more than half of the people in the club started cheering, clapping their hands at us. William simply smiled and then guided me down the scenario, he trying to stay balanced himself. He didn't looked drunk, thought. I did. He guided me to an empty table and we sat down to regain our breath.

"Thank you for the fun time, darling." He said to me while rubbing his thumb in my hand and cupping it in his.

I just laughed drunkenly at him and smiled, my cheeks flushed from drunkenness. He then stood up, his knees buckling after a second, and then he lifted me up carefully.

"Come on, I'll take us both home." He said to my ear.

Then he proceeded to hook up his arm with mine and walks us both away from the place, he must have a headache too, from the lights. He was also in the influence of alcohol, but he still was going to drive. Everything felt way too foggy so when he opened the car door for me, he had a Porsche, i collapsed into the seat.

He had to hold himself into the car for support and then entered the car, starting the engine and driving us both away from there. He had drank like way more than me, so I wondered how was he not falling or even a little nauseous.

That was answered quite quickly, because when we arrived to what I assumed was his home, almost a whole mansion, he immediately headed for the bathroom and i heard him throw up.

It wasn't really gentleman- like, but I didn't really care. That would be me the next morning, so might as well get ready for it. He came out a little more steadily, still smelling like cologne and scotch, but a bit more pale.

"Sorry for that, love., i might have overdone it tonight." He said.

I simply looked at his eyes and he looked at me, and then i kissed him. He started kissing me too, his breath smelling like scotch and mint, and he pinned me to a wall lifting my legs to his sides and carrying me. When we separated, he was huffing with excitement and we just smiled at each other in silence.

"Thank you for all, William." I said smiling.

"No problem, doll." He whispered in my ear and hid his face in the crook of my neck.

It wasn't really a bad night after all.
