(Lumine's Dream)
[Lumine slowly opened her eyes. She felt a burning heat around her.]
Lumine: "W-Where am i!?"
[And, Lumine looked around her. She realized that she is standing in a room full of flames.]
Lumine: "W-What is this place!? What happened!?"
*BRUAGH!* *BRUAGH!*
[Lumine is surprised by the burning ruins of wood falling from above.]
Lumine: "D-Damn it! I-I have to run away from this place!"
*BRUAGH!*
[Lumine tries to run from that place. But, every time she run away, ruins always fell in front of her. And, she had completely run out of directions to escape.]
Lumine: "Damn it! I guess i have to-"
[Lumine's words was cut short when she saw something, or rather someone leaning weakly against a piece of wood.]
Lumine: "No... No way!"
[And, Lumine saw a figure that she knew, that she loved... Sitting weak with a wounded body and full of blood.]
Musashi: "....."
Lumine: "MUSASHI!"
[Seeing that, Lumine tried to open a path by clearing the rubble between them.]
Lumine: "Hold on, Musashi! Hold- OW!"
[Lumine's hands burned as they removed the burning logs. But, it didn't stop her.]
Lumine: "I'll... I'll save you!"
Musashi: "....Hehe~"
[Even though they were a little far away, Lumine could still hear Musashi's weak chuckle.]
Musashi: "It's no use... I can't even move my body... Even my finger."
[Lumine keep trying to remove those rubbles. She cannot give up, not until she saves Musashi.]
Lumine: "Mu..."
[Suddenly, Lumine's voice couldn't come out, and Lumine grabbed her own neck to make sure her neck is okay.]
Lumine: "Mu... shi..."
Musashi: "To fight an expert swordsman like Kojiro... Is truly a honor for me."
[Still, Lumine's voice could not come out. And now...]
Lumine: (M-My body... I-I can't move!!)
[Lumine's tears began to fall. She kept trying to move to save Musashi. But it's all in vain...]
Lumine: (No... No!)
Musashi: "But.. I have no regret... I have come this far to help her... If my death can help her to move forward... I'm fine with it."

[Another rubbles fall down! This time, Lumine couldn't do anything.]

[Until finally, the ruins fell on Musashi. Lumine's eyes widened in disbelief… tears of blood came out of Lumine's eyes.]

[Lumine's emotions couldn't be controlled… She looked at her hands which were black from the burns. Her eyes were also shedding tears of blood...]

[But... What hurts the most... Is losing the person she loves, right in front of her.]

[It's all but a nightmare. But, Lumine is still stuck in her nightmare.]

[Musashi, who is sleeping next to Lumine, woken up by Lumine's screams.]

[Musashi tries to wake Lumine from her nightmare. She even lightly slapped Lumine's cheek twice.]

Musashi: "LUMINE!!!"
[Musashi's small scream managed to wake Lumine from her nightmare. As Lumine wakes up, her tears fell down and wet her cheeks.]
Musashi: "Hey, Lumine... You okay?"
Lumine: "....A nightmare?"
[Lumine sats up from her bed. Musashi also got up and grab a glass of water from the table for Lumine.]
Musashi: "Here..."
Lumine: "....."
[Lumine did not take the glass of water from Musashi's hand. Instead, she touched and felt Musashi's right cheek.]
Lumine: "You're not dead... You're okay."
Musashi: "Huh? What?"
*BRUGH!*
Musashi: "Wha-"
Lumine: "Uuu~"
[Lumine hugged Musashi tightly and cried on his shoulder. Musashi confused by all this.]
Musashi: "L-Lumine?"
Lumine: "Please... Please don't say anything..."
Musashi: ".....What?"
Lumine: "Let me... stay like this... For a bit..."
[Musashi could only stay silent and patted the back of the crying Lumine. Lumine cried her heart out on Musashi's shoulder.]

[Ten days have passed since the trio helped Klee with her problems (and also since Musashi kicked Venti's ass.).]
Musashi: "It's ready~~🎶. Breakfast time~~🎶"
[Musashi put the tray of food in front of Lumine and Paimon. She walks back to kitchen and grab the last tray for herself. Paimon looked at the food in front of her with sparkling eyes. And, she's even drooling when she sees the food in front of her.]
Paimon: "Hmm~ White Rice, Tamagoyaki (Grilled Egg), Fried Salmon, Miso Soup and Natto..."
Musashi: "Hehe~ It's just a simple breakfast, really."
[Musashi sits beside Lumine while Paimon sits across both of them.]
Musashi: "Well then..."
Musashi/Paimon: "ITADAKIMASU!"
[Swiftly, Paimon grabs the spoon and eat the egg first... As she chewed on the egg, her eyes is sparkling because the delicious taste of the grilled egg.]
Paimon: "Hmm~ This is delicious! You are good cook, Slime's Lover!"
Musashi: "Haha~ Thanks, Paimon."
[Paimon's compliment relieved Musashi a little. Simultaneously, she recalled the time she was taught to cook by other servants in Chaldea.]
Musashi: (Ahaha~ I guess i should say thanks to the other Servants, such as Red Bowman, Boudica and Beni-Enma for this.)
[On the other hand, Lumine didn't touch his food. She did look at the food, but her mind was elsewhere.]
Lumine: "....."
Musashi: "....."
[As Paimon is eating her breakfast voraciously, Musashi realized Lumine's daydream. She tried to call out her girlfriend.]
Musashi: "Oi, Lumine..."

Musashi: "Lumine-chan~~"

[Musashi pats Lumine's shoulder but no response... Sighed, Musashi just poked Lumine's right cheek.]

Musashi: "Lumine, you've been daydreaming. Are you okay?"
[Lumine just look back at her food, and she just nods.]
Lumine: "I'm fine, Musashi."
Musashi: "Uh... Did you think about what you dreamed last night?"
[Again, Lumine nods her head. Musashi sighed again and pats her head.]
Musashi: "Don't think about it too much... Nightmares are just dreams, not reality."
Lumine: "...Yeah. I guess you're right."
Musashi: "Good... Come on, eat your breakfast. It's getting cold. And Paimon almost finished hers."
[Lumine nods weakly. She smiles at Musashi. Then, they grabs their chopsticks and starts eating their breakfast. But still, Lumine is still thinking about her nightmare.]
Lumine: (Musashi... Who are you, exactly?)

[And, after breakfast and cleaning up, the trio left their house and took a walk around the town of Monstadt.]
Paimon: "Alright... Let's see what the city has to offer for us today!"
Musashi: "You mean... Comissions?"
Paimon: "You bet!"
[And, speaking of houses... Three days ago, Jean gave a small house in the city for Lumine, Musashi and Paimon to live in. At first, they refused because they already had their own house in the Serenite Pot. But, Jean insist to give that small house as a token of gratitude.]
Musashi: "Huh~ To think Jean is kind enough to give us that house."
Lumine: "Even we decline it at first, she keep insisted to give it to us."
Paimon: "Yeah... But, in fact the house had not been inhabited for a long time. So yeah, I guess it wasn't wrong for Jean to give us that house to live in."

Musashi: "Huh?"

[She keeps looking, but then, she shakes her head.]
Katheryne: "No, they couldn't look more different. This stranger is a very tall man, and even has an eyepatch..."
[Both Lumine sighed in disappointment. But, Musashi seems intrigued by this person.]
Musashi: "So, just some distant relative of Kaeya's, then..."
Paimon: "Seriously? How does this have anything to do with Kaeya? Eyepatches can't prove that you're related, anyway!"
Katheryne: "That stranger declined the Guild's invitation, so I can't say that I know anything about the relationship between him and Mr. Kaeya."
[Musashi sighed a bit. But, the trio seems intrigued by this mysterious person.]
Katheryne: "Nonetheless, you can look for him if you're interested. Perhaps he might accept your commission instead. After all, it is not uncommon for some adventurers to not want to be limited by the Guild, but be happy to accept a fellow adventurer's requests. And should this stranger be a strong adventurer indeed, he would certainly be a big help on your journey."

[Katheryne just laughed softly at Lumine and Musashi.]

[Musashi and Paimon nods at Lumine. They all seems agree to recruit this person.]
Lumine: "Well, alright then. About that stranger..."
Katheryne: "Well, as to further news about him... You may want to ask Mr. Lawrence. He stands guard at the city gate, so he may know something about that stranger. I wish you every success, adventurer."
Musashi: "Thanks, Katheryne! We owe you one!"
[And... The trio left and walks to Monstadt City's gate. And they meet Lawrence. Lawrence wears one of the standard uniforms of the Knights of Favonius. The uniform consists of a black shirt, pants, gloves, and brown leather shoulder pads with brass-accented white plate armor worn on top. Only the forearm guards are black. Wing-like designs decorate various parts of the armor along with the Knights of Favonius crest on the breastplate. A sword hangs from his belt on the left.]
Lawrence: "Ah, Honorary Knight. Is something the matter?"
Lumine: "Umm... I'm looking for a stranger with an eyepatch..."
Lawrence: "Huh? A stranger with an eyepatch?"
[Lawrence holds his chin as he try to think about the mysterious person. And...]
Lawrence: "Hmm... I remember seeing someone like that. A blond stranger dressed in unusual garb. He was wandering all over Mondstadt at first, which I found rather suspicious, so I decided to keep an eye on him for a while. I lost him pretty quickly... Still, I didn't think that this was such a huge matter that we needed our Outrider to pursue him by air."
[So, Lawrence didn't know where that mysterious person went.]
Lawrence: "Well, As long as Master Jean is here, there's nothing to fear from some suspicious unusual looking person."
Paimon: "That might be true, but if it were up to Jean, she'd take this way more seriously."
Lawrence: "Haha, that is true. But on the other hand, knowing that Master Jean may overreact to the situation is all the more reason to not tell her, no?"
[Lawrence just laughed softly, causing the trio to look at him with confused look.]

[When Lumine said "eyepatch", Wagner seems remember something about that mysterious person.]
Wagner: "I remember him. He showed up a few days ago, asking to buy a bunch of forging materials. Can't say I've heard of any of the materials he mentioned, though. He then had a look at the weapons in my shop before leaving. I've heard that he can be found drinking at the Angel's Share. If the Knights or the Guild want to get a hold of him, that's the only place to be!"
[The trio learnt about that mysterious person's possible whereabouts.]
Musashi: "The Angel's Share?"
Paimon: "Well, Master Diluc probably has his eye on that stranger too, then. Anyway, let's go to the Angel's Share and have a look."
Lumine: "Alright! Let's go!"

[And the trio finally arrived at Diluc's Bar, Angel's Share. And they go straight for Master Charles, the Bartender.]
Musashi: "Yo! Master Charles!"
Charles: "Oh! It's you three! What will it be? Grape juice or Apple cider?"
Lumine: "Another day, another lack of alcoholic options..."
Paimon: "Hey Charles, have you seen a blond stranger who wears an eyepatch around here by any chance?"
[Charles fall in thought for a minute, and...]
Charles: "That I have. He comes here every night — just to drink, though. Doesn't order anything else. He even sometimes mixes his own drinks after he orders them. I don't know anything else about him, but from his selections and mixes, I'd say that he's quite the connoisseur."
Paimon: "And what's Master Diluc's opinion?"
Charles: "Why, I just gave it to you... "quite the connoisseur."
Paimon: Investigating everything as always — guess that's Diluc for you..."
[The trio just giggled nervously at Master Charles. He just let out a smile. And...]
Charles: "If you're looking for that gentleman, he ordered some new bottle of wine in advance yesterday, so he should be here today, too. There's too many raucous patrons on the first floor, so if you want to wait, best to go to the second."
Musashi: "Okay, Master Charles!"
[And... The trio agreed to walk to the second floor to wait for that mysterious person to appear.]

[The trio walks downstairs and try to talk with that mysterious man. That person is a tall man with light blonde hair and sea blue eyes with distinct, star-shaped irises. He wears a mask-like eyepatch covering the right side of his face while still showing his right eye. He wears a black jacket with blue details, a gray vest, and black pants along with black armored gloves and boots. He also wears a black cape with a starry, space-patterned interior. Parts of the right side of his body appear to be covered in a blue veined pattern; namely his right arm, part of his right foot, the upper portion of his right pectoral, and as a faintly visible streak along the right side of his neck. This is more prominent in his artwork that depicts him demonstrating his abilities; in which the glowing veins marble the entire length of a fully blackened right arm, with a similar effect appearing on the foot.]

Lumine: "Hi, I'm an adventurer with the Adventurers' Guild."
????: "....."
Paimon: "Wow, he's got no intention of paying us any mind, huh..."
Lumine: "So, uh, I'm a traveler..."
[When Lumine said "traveler", that mysterious man looks at them.]
????: "A traveler... you say? Hmph. Why are you traveling?"
Lumine: "Um... I'm looking for my lost relative."

[Both Lumine and Musashi looks at each other before they sit in front of that man. Then, that man's eyes are looking at Paimon.]

[Lumine widened her eyes. Instantly, Musashi grabbed the hilt of her sword.]

????: "If you were here... That means... Something happened to you during your duty as servant. Or maybe... Something happened to Chaldea."
[Lumine held Musashi's hand, trying to calm her down. Lumine's grip was able to dampen Musashi's vigilance. She let out a small sigh.]
Paimon: "Uh... Servant? Saber? And Chaldea? What do you mean by that?"
????: "It's nothing important... Anyway, My name's Dainsleif. I suppose you have some business with me?"
[The situation was starting to cool off, but that didn't keep Musashi to keep an eye on Dainsleif. Lumine kept holding Musashi's hand to make sure she didn't acting carelessly.]
Lumine: "Well, I was hoping to invite you to adventure with us..."
Dainsleif: "....Sure."
Lumine: "...Huh?"
Musashi: "That's it?"
Dainsleif: "But I will require advance payment."
[Instantly, Musashi and Lumine were a little afraid of the payoff. They just lost six hundred thousand Mora because of a certain idiot Bard.]
Lumine: "P-payment, you say..."
Musashi: "H-how much?"

Lumine: "Everyone in Liyue Harbor. Because now, the Age Of Adeptus is over... Now, it's up to the people of Liyue itself to defend their city."
[Again, Dainsleif seems satisfied with Lumine's answer.]
Dainsleif: "Now for my final question. This world has people who gained Visions, and those who did not. Which of the two do you think hold more importance in the eyes of the gods?"
Lumine: "Perhaps... none of them do."
[Dainsleif just smiles at Lumine.]
Dainsleif: "As I thought... you really are similar to him."
Lumine: "Him?"
Dainsleif: "....."
[But then... Dainsleif's eyes are looking at Musashi.]

[Dainsleif shakes his head twice as he walks into the temple.]
Dainsleif: "It's nothing. Let's head inside."
Musashi: "Let us be careful, okay?"
[And they go inside the temple... And as usual... The atmosphere is kinda dark.]
Dainsleif: "The scent of the Abyss is getting stronger. It's not far now."
Paimon: "Paimon wonders what the Abyss Heralds look like. Do they look something like the Abyss Mages?"
Dainsleif: "Let's head further in first. If we do see that creature, that'll spare me the explanation either way."

[Suddenly, Musashi appeared behind between the two Hydro Abyss Mages.]
Abyss Mage: "Wha-"
Musashi: "Time out..."

Lumine: (So Fast!)
Paimon: (HWA! SHE IS FASTER THAN BEFORE!)
Dainsleif: (Amazing speed and technique... She deserves to be called the Strongest Servant or holds the title of Grand Saber.)
[As Musashi put her swords back into it's scabbard... The Abyss Mages has just turned into ashes. Lumine and Paimon swiftly runs towards Musashi.]
Musashi: "Well, sorry about that."
Lumine: "Moou~ You took my prey again!"
Musashi: "Well, don't blame me. Like i said... I will protect you."
[Lumine was a bis irritated because Musashi always stepped forward and attacked first. However, she understood that Musashi only wanted to protect her. Thus, she could only smile at her lover.]
Lumine: "In that case... I'm in your care!"
Musashi: (My God! So cute!)
[But then... Their conversation were cut short by-]
Dainsleif: "Just a few Abyss Mages? Seems like that Herald might have already left."
Musashi: "So... Could you tell me more about the Abyss Order?"
Dainsleif: "The Abyss... It is chaos, and it is also destruction. It is a morass of inconceivable madness that encroaches upon this world's very foundations. Dainsleif: "It seems that even an Abyss Herald would not wish to make trouble with the Wolf King of the North. We should leave as well. If there's anything praiseworthy about that old wolf, it's his territorial nature."

[One Hilichurl tries to attack Musashi, but it was blocked by her swords. And then, it was killed.]
Musashi: "Many more to go!"
Dainsleif: (They can sync so easily. Huh... I never thought she can work together like that.)
Lumine: "HAAA!!!"

[Lumine used the Anemo element to push those Hilichurls into the air. A lot of hilichurls have been sent into the air.]
