******WARNING!******* SOME SEXUAL CONTENT *******WARNING!*******

Your eyes weren’t closed for more than 10 minutes when a loud crack jolted you out of your sleep. You shot up, and the first thing you saw was Draco with his wand at the ready. Then you spotted the source of the noise.

“Kreacher?”

The old house elf looked up, having been distracted by dusting off the filthy loincloth he always wore. He grumbled under his breath as he walked up to you.

“Master Harry Potter has sent me.”

“What? Why?”

“Master Harry Potter could not come. He gave Kreacher this.” He pulled out a small clear vile and handed it to you. You watched the mysterious translucent white liquid as it floated inside.

“What do I do with it?” you asked, confused. Kreacher waved his hand and a very old looking bowl appeared floating before him. It was filled with a similar translucent liquid. You looked up at Draco, but he looked just as clueless as you were. You noticed he still had his wand pointed at Kreacher. You lowered his hand, conveying that Kreacher was no threat. Then you opened the vile and tipped it upside down, letting its contents spill into the bowl.

“Closer.” Kreacher motioned with his hand for you to lean in. When you did, you felt yourself fall forward. You let out a yell in surprise as your body fell through the air. As quickly as it began, your feet hit the ground and you looked around frantically to figure out where you were.

“CRUCIO!”

You cringed at the familiar curse that Bellatrix threw out toward you. But it wasn’t really you. You were in London, and you were watching the memory that plagued your nightmares unfold in front of you. You watched yourself as you writhed in pain on the floor. The intensity of reliving it all caused you to tear up. You looked to your right to see Harry struggling to try and reach you.

“NO!” he screamed, shoving the Death Eaters but getting nowhere.

“If I had my way, you would have been dead a long time ago!” you heard Bellatrix hiss. You looked back to see her leaning low over your past self. “But my Master has requested that you live. He didn’t say anything, however, about the unborn.”

“GET AWAY FROM HER!”

CRUCIO!” she bellowed. You watched yourself scream in pain until you finally passed out. This was when your nightmare normally ended. But it didn’t fade to black this time.

“BELLETRIX, CEASE THIS NOW!” Voldemort yelled. She broke the curse immediately, staring up in confusion. Voldemort appeared in front of everyone from a cloud of dark smoke. He descended upon Belletrix, taking her face in his hand. She winced in pain as he whispered menacingly into her ear.

“But My Lord—“

“You can’t even begin to imagine what that child is capable of. I order you not to touch this girl again before she gives birth.”

“But My Lord! She is weak! She has nothing to offer us.” She scoffed.

“True. But the child… The child has plenty!” He then turned to Harry, who was still being held by the guards. He smirked at his pain as he watched on helplessly.

“LET HER GO!” Harry yelled. Voldemort was about to respond when a deafening bang rang out as the wall nearest them shattered. Stone flew everywhere. Everyone ducked for cover, including yourself. But when a large piece of stone flew through your body, you remembered you were only observing a memory. Harry shot up and grabbed your past self from the floor, cradling you in his arms as a team of Aurors climbed through the busted wall and shot spells in every direction. You were about to follow him when the scene dissolved right in front of your eyes, another taking its place. You were now standing in the Ministry, in an office you didn’t recognize. Harry was sitting in a chair, his foot jiggling up and down impatiently. You scanned the small, cluttered office. It was quite a peculiar sight. Toasters lined a shelf on the far right of the room, and a rubber chicken was hanging out from the bottom desk drawer. You then spotted a picture frame with a photo of the Weasley kids all smiling up happily.

“What’s this about, Harry?” you heard. You turned around to see Arthur Weasley entering the office. He took off his hat wearily and hung it on the rack by the door. He looked like he had already had a very trying morning.

“Kris and Kelly. I’m worried they aren’t safe. I need your help to protect them.” He said urgently. Arthur motioned for him to calm down and sit.

“Slow down, now. What makes you say that?”

“I told you about what happened the night Voldemort went after Kris?” He began. Arthur nodded, remembering. “Well, his closest followers knew about his plan to get Kelly. And those who are still alive have been conspiring to start their fight again! It’s only a matter of time before they go after her. We know Voldemort wanted to kill Kris as soon as Kelly was born, kidnap her and raise her as one of their own. I can’t let that happen, Arthur!”

“I understand your concern, Harry, but we’ve taken every precaution possible to keep her safe. Both of your homes have more protective charms than even Sirius’ old house did!”

“It’s not enough!” he stood up frustratedly. Arthur came up next to him and patted his shoulder.

“Does she know? About them going after Kelly?”

“No. I couldn’t tell her and have her live in even more fear than she already is! She just thinks they were torturing her because of her own abilities, and my romantic interest in her.”

“I see. I’ll be happy to help in any way that I can, but we are going to need a lot more proof to bring this up to the ministry. Specifics. Like who is heading up this uprising.”

“I know. But everyone is really paranoid right now. It won’t be easy to get someone new in there that they trust enough to reveal their plans or their leader.” Harry said, furrowing his brow in thought. The scene dissolved as the two of them bent over Arthur’s desk. It looked as though they were beginning to map out some sort of plan. Then it was pitch black. You felt your body lift up and then the next thing you knew you were gasping for breath as you pulled away from the bowl.

“What happened?” Draco asked urgently.

“W-We need to go. Now!” you said.

“Kreacher is supposed to take you.” Kreacher grumbled, obviously feeling put out to have to do this errand.

You ran into the bedroom, scooped Kelly out of her bed. She rubbed her eyes groggily as you grabbed a bag and stuffed a coat and some boots in it with one arm.

“Mom? What’s going on?” she asked.

“Nothing, sweetie. We are just going on a little trip.”

“Trip? Where?”

“Far away.” You said. Then you kneeled in front of her and smiled. “Somewhere magical.”

“Really?” she asked excitedly. When you nodded, she ran out of the room, pulling you with her. You joined Draco and Kreacher. You scooped Kelly up in one arm and took Draco’s hand in yours. Kreacher grabbed his other hand and you watched Harry’s apartment disappear. You don’t know why, but at that moment you felt like this is the last time you would be seeing it. The feeling was dark and unsettling, but you brushed it off. You felt Draco’s hand tighten around yours as you all Apparated to Hogwarts. Kreacher, being a house elf, was able to Apparate you right to the hallway in front of the Headmaster’s office.

“We’ve been expecting you.” Professor McGonagall said as the statue came alive and leapt aside to reveal her waiting behind it.

“Professor McGonagall.”

“Headmistress McGonagall.” She corrected.

“Oh. Sorry, Headmistress.” You apologized.

“It’s quite alright.” She smiled. She gestured for you to join her in her office. Then she turned to address Kreacher. “Kreacher, you may go back to the kitchens.”

Kreacher nodded and hobbled off down the hall, his grumbling becoming louder the farther he got. She shook her head slightly and then followed you and Draco up the staircase. Kelly squirmed out of your grip at the sight of the office, running up to a golden compass trinket on a shelf by the window. She gazed at it admiringly. Suddenly, her hand shot forward to grab it.

“Kelly, don’t touch anything!” you ordered. Her hand dropped to her side and she pouted. Giving her one more stern look, you went to sit next to Draco across from Headmistress McGonagall’s desk.

“Now, I’ve been told that you’ve been informed about the protective measures that the Ministry has taken to keep you and your daughter safe.”

“Yes, I have.” You said. Draco shot you a questioning look.

“Good. Now, let’s discuss what is happening now. Many former Death Eaters have been pulling together factions to prepare for a very important mission to revive their movement against Muggles and the Ministry. This mission was started by Lord Voldemort himself, to obtain a secret weapon.”

“Kelly.” You said quietly. Headmistress McGonagall nodded sadly. Draco’s eyes widened in shock. “But, I don’t understand. Why do they want her?”

“See for yourself.” She said. You stared at her questioningly until Draco tapped your shoulder. You turned around to see Kelly sitting by the window, the golden compass she was drawn to now floating closely in front of her face. Then, her eyes flicked up to another trinket. A small silver telescope. It zoomed off of the shelf toward her and floated in front of her eye so that she could look through it.

“Kelly!” She broke eye contact from the objects and the sound of your voice and they clattered to the floor in front of her.

“Oops…” she said, picking them up quickly and setting them on the window sill.

“What did I say?!”

“You said not to touch anything… I wasn’t touching them!”

You glared at Draco, who was suppressing a smirk. You had to admit, she was pretty smart. But you didn’t much care for being outsmarted by a five year old. Then you gave an apologetic look to Headmistress McGonagall. She smiled.

“Kelly is more than just an early bloomer in terms of magical ability. She possesses more powerful abilities than the average witch or wizard.”

“Why is that?” Draco asked.

“Kris, you have noticed some unusual abilities in yourself, have you not?” she asked. You nodded. “That is because you have a rare magical genetic make-up, the likes of which have been seen only two times before in Wizarding history. Those were the cases of Merope Gaunt and Kendra Dumbledore.”

She paused to let this information sink in. You were completely speechless. Harry told you about Voldemort’s family, so you recognized the Gaunt name. But the fact that you and these two women, who both gave birth to two of the most power wizards in history, shared anything in common was almost unbelievable.

“There must be a mistake.” That was the first thing that came out of your mouth.

“There is no mistake. You have a magical defect, Ms. Rogers. Some have referred to your kind as Progeniti. While you might display one or two somewhat powerful and unique abilities, it is your children who will possess magical abilities unlike any other.” She saw the rising panic on your face with each word she spoke, and her voice softened. “I know that this is overwhelming, but we need to address the issue at hand. I have been informed about the incident at Kelly’s school earlier today. Specifically, the fact that Kelly was able to fly unsupported. Nobody has achieved that feat since Lord Voldemort. Dark wizards involved in conspiring to rise up have caught wind of it as well. We’ve received word that they are implementing a plan, and there is reported movement from some of the factions nearby. The details of their plan are still unknown, unfortunately. What we do know is that they need a leader that either matches or surpasses Lord Voldemort’s powers to even come close to succeeding in overthrowing the Ministry. And they believe that they have found her.”

Your mouth went dry. You found it far too difficult to swallow or even breathe. It was all too much. Your sweet, innocent little girl was being sought after by almost every dark wizard in the world. You felt like you might be sick at the thought of it. Your hands shook and Draco took one of them, squeezing it comfortingly. You met his gaze and saw fear in his eyes as well.

“You will be safe here. We’ve taken every protective measure to shield your presence at Hogwarts. However, you will not be permitted to leave the school grounds until we get better knowledge about who is leading the uprising.”

“I understand.” You said. You couldn’t help but feel helpless in the whole situation. Draco helped you up and picked up Kelly.

“You will be staying in the Room of Requirement. I trust you remember where it is.” She said, standing and giving you a knowing glance. A blush crept up your cheeks at the reminder of your school days. Clearly she hasn’t forgotten, and you couldn’t help but be slightly embarrassed.

“Yes Headmistress.”

Draco led you out of the office and you began the walk to the Room of Requirement in silence. Kelly took in her surroundings with wide-eyed wonder. You remembered the first time you came to Hogwarts. You were in absolute awe at how enormous the castle was. You couldn’t imagine what seeing it as a five year old felt like.

The familiar blank stretch of wall where the Room of Requirement entrance was came into view. Draco handed Kelly to you and paced back and forth until the door appeared. Kelly’s eyes bulged out of her head.

“MOM! DAD! That door came out of the wall! Did you see?!” Her words spilled out a hundred miles a minute as she wiggled excitedly.

“Go open it!” you said, setting her on the ground. She ran and stood on tip toe to reach the round golden door knob. She turned it and her face lit up at what was behind it. There was an open play area to the right of the door littered with toys. Kelly skipped toward them excitedly, immediately grabbing the Barbie’s set up in the doll house. You entered to a gorgeous apartment. A big kitchen and dining area was to your left, and a seating area directly in front of you. You wandered over to the hallway and opened the first door to find a bedroom for Kelly, decorated in a princess theme. You smiled, knowing how much she would enjoy it. The second door was a bathroom, and the third door was a giant master bedroom with ensuit bathroom.

“A home away from home.” Draco said, coming up behind you.

“Thank you. It’s beautiful.” You said. You were extremely fatigued, but your mind was racing and you couldn’t imagine being able to fall asleep now. You sat on the bed, shrugging off your jacket. Then you had a realization. “Where is your bedroom?”

“I don’t need one. I’m going to sleep out there, just in case.” He said. You were sure that you would be safe in the Room of Requirement, but you didn’t say anything. If it made him feel better to sleep on the couch, you were okay with that. The two of you went outside to find Kelly and put her to bed, but the playroom was empty. You turned to the first bedroom and saw her already laying underneath the pink princess comforter, eyes closed. You flicked off the light switch and closed the door. Then you went into the kitchen and opened up the fridge. You took out a bottle of water and then sat on the couch, your legs curled up in front of you. Then, the tears you hadn’t even realized you had been holding back snuck up on you. You let out a gasp and began to cry. Draco rushed to your side and held you in his arms. You cried into his chest, your tears wetting his shirt.

“M-m-my b-b-baby…” you said through your gasps for air. Draco lifted your head and wiped away the tears that stained your cheeks.

“Listen to me. I will never, ever let anything happen to Kelly. Do you trust me?” he asked.

“Y-yes.” You hiccupped, wiping your nose with your sleeve.

“Shhhh….” He soothed.

“I’m sorry.”

“Don’t apologize.” He stroked your hair as you sat together in silence. But you soon felt like he wanted to talk, but was unsure if he should.

“What is it? You look like something’s on your mind.”

“No… I’m just sorry. I shouldn’t have gone against your wishes about keeping magic out of Kelly’s life. I feel like I’m the reason this is all happening.”

“No! Draco, she was already starting to display abilities before you found us.” You reassured him. He still looked unconvinced. You took his face in your hands and forced him to look in your eyes. “This isn’t your fault.”

“It feels like it all is my fault. I wasn’t there for you. I’ve caused you nothing but pain.”

“Don’t talk that way. Without you, I wouldn’t have Kelly. And I can’t imagine a life without her.”

“She is amazing.” He said quietly, smiling. “I can’t believe we actually made her. Together.”

A warm happy feeling spread through you at his words. You felt the same way. He took your hand, and you felt his fingers lace in between yours. You couldn’t help but think back to the last time you were in the Room of Requirement with him. This room was where the majority of your relationship took place. Being back here with him, a wave of nostalgia and bottled up feelings washed over you. You bit your lip, then regretted it. He knew you only did that when you were nervous. He traced the skin on your wrist, sending tingling sensations throughout your body.

“Draco, this isn’t a good idea.” You said as he leaned in closer to you. His eyes watched your lips as you spoke, and you couldn’t help but bite your lip again. He always made you so flustered.

“I know.” He said. Then he smirked up at you. “But… isn’t that part of the appeal?”

As soon as the words left his mouth, he knew he had you. It was the same exact thing he said to you before your first time together. But this time he wasn’t saying it out of lust. He was saying it in loving memory of the beginning of your complicated and messy relationship. He leaned in and kissed you softly, running a hand through your somewhat disheveled hair, messing it up even more. He leaned you back onto the couch and positioned himself in between your legs. His lips caressed the skin on your neck and you moaned softly. Then he lifted your shirt up slowly, sliding his hands up the contours of your hips and waist. You lifted your arms for him and he pulled it over your head. He pulled your hips up closer to him, and you felt his hard member rub up against you. His breathing started to quicken as you moved with him, and his lips crashed down onto yours. He kissed you hungrily, pulling your body up so that he was seated on the couch with you straddling him. You continued grinding against his lap as he unhooked your bra. You threw it to the floor, letting him get reacquainted with your breasts. You felt him reach down to your zipper and you didn’t protest as he slowly pulled it down, eyeing the top of your underwear greedily. Your body was trembling in anticipation as the two of you undressed each other. Your eyes scanned his chest. It was more muscular than you remember, but the skin was no longer perfectly smooth. You traced a scar that went from the top of his right shoulder down to the middle of his chest with your finger. You pressed your lips to it gently. Unable to control himself any longer, he pulled you against him and thrust inside of you. You gasped out loud, your body adjusting to him as he moved. The two of you gyrated against each other, breathing heavily and picking up speed as the pleasure mounted inside of you. Your toes curled as you reached your peak climax, and you muffled your moan into his shoulder to keep quiet. Draco pushed one final forceful thrust before letting out a shudder as he finished. You rolled to the side, lying next to him and panting for breath. You two had always had a passionate physical relationship, but what just happened was on a whole different level.

“Wow.” Draco said, looking up at the ceiling.

“Yeah. Wow.” You whispered. You couldn’t think of a more perfect word for it.
