it's a new season! and i'm super excited for the new season and i hope it goes much better than last..
but over the break me and Maddie turned thirteen WE'RE TEENAGERS and since Kira won't be here for weeks mom rook guardian ship over Kalani while Kira takes her time off so Kalani will be living with us for a bit!
also this week is a big one for me and Maddie
Maddies not with us as she's filming her first movie 'The Book Of Henry'
and it's Descendants 2 premiere week so i'm going to be doing a lot of press!

we arrive at the studio and the girls minus me,Kalani and Nia all have hoverboards but i've permanently banned myself from doing things that i can break my foot from other than dance obviously
"we'll meet you inside you can get a running start" Holly says
we go inside and we go to where the moms sit and we stretch
"do you think Abbys going to come back i mean she stormed out of last season" JoJo says
"i'd like to think so" i say
"yeah" Kalani and Kendall both say
"last time we came to LA i feel like she was a little crazy because with the new studio and we lost at nationals and i just feel like the new season is really gonna go good because look at this gorgeous studio it's done i think she's set and i hope this season go well." Kendall adds
"same and i hope i don't sprain my ankle by doing like a leap" i say
"oh same" Kalani says
Abby and the moms come in and we go into i guess the new studio A for pyramid

"alright stop let's go i want everyone to stop, stop fooling around..here we are this is the sixth year in a row i have told you children you're only as good as your last performance we're fighting struggling to stay on top of our craft after nationals after that debacle never in my life have i got up and walked out of the competition and i felt that you as my students were being humiliated on that stage dance is the priority they need to work harder i know you're back in LA and i'm contradicting myself mothers right now this season there's no more on all the extra activities" Abby says
"that doesn't make sense the whole reason we came to LA is to take advantage of opportunities why wouldn't you allow them to attend to have those opportunities?" Holly asks
"i don't want it to interfere with their dance training." Abby says
"so they can't get an acting job? they can't go do anything?" Jill asks
"where is Maddie right now then? and what is Kayla doing this week?" Jess asks
"Maddie is shooting a movie and Kayla is going to her movie primere" Abby says
"so that's okay?" Jess asks
"well" Abby says
"it's inequity why is it okay for two and not all of them?" Jill asks
"i know Maddie is not here and i know Kayla isn't going to be here but first they were dancers and that's why they got the part from watching their solos from The Abby Lee Dance Company that's where it started" Abby says
that is not how i got Descendants i did audition and so did Maddie but Abby can think that.
"you know what you're missing Abby more than anybody in this room Kendall and myself have been loyal to you" Jill says
"oh please don't do that" Holly says
"no but it's the truth" Jill says
"that is not true" Holly says
"can you please be quiet" Kendall says to Jill
"i have been more loyal to you and what you asked" Jill says
"do not go there" Holly says
"no no i have been loyal to you and everything you ask me to do and everything you asked me not to do when you said" Jill says
"stop!" Kendall says
"in your eyes you believe that" Abby says
"no it's the truth! it's all on paper" Jill says
"shush! i don't want you to talk!" Kendall yells
"my point is i'm loyal" Jill says
Kendall rolls her eyes
"well i want more" Abby says
"alright now listen pyramids a little different this week i'm gonna call your name come stand next to me..Nia get you headshot"
Nia walks over to Holly and gets her headshot
"Mackenzie."
Kenzie goes over to mom and gets her headshot
"JoJo."
"Kendall."
"Kalani"
"Kayla"
i walk over to mom and i grab my headshot and i stand next to Kalani
"so turn around and look in that mirror..you're all at the bottom of the pyramid since you lost..lose again not good turnaround.. we don't have Maddie and you won't have Kayla for this week and that scares me but i have the next best thing" Abby says
and she brings Brynn and Ashlee into the studio
us girls cheer and run to Brynn and hug her
"i think you were here before and you left" Abby says
"my life is totally different and i'm ready to focus on her she wants to be here she's gonna work her butt off to be your star dancer" Ashlee says
"well i'm gonna be tough tough tough love on this kid cause i wanna see if she has what it really takes to dance with these girls to be part of this team." Abby says
"okay so this week we're going to Sheer Talent in Glendale California..Maddie is supposed to be here saturday but she is not dancing and Kayla won't be here on saturday so Brynn you're doing a solo..it's entitled coronation..the group routine is an idea taken from an old movie The Boy In The Plastic Bubble one of you is actually going to be in the bubble"
we all gasp
"i wanna be in the bubble!" JoJo says
"so it's my dads wedding this saturday so i won't be able to come to competition but i'm going to be at rehearsals..i leave Friday" Kalani says
"what good are you at the rehearsal if you're not going to be at the competition..you can go" Abby says
i give Kalani a low high-five because i thought Abby was gonna crucify her
"oh girls get back over there i can't talk to you this way"
we go back in our original line
"alright so going into this competition we're going up against rivals the last time we saw these people at nationals you lost they're on top now they hold the power they can intimidate you if you let them"
|Group Rehearsals|
"The Boy In The Plastic Bubble it's kinda of an immune fishincy a child can't be touched they're allergic to the outside people and if they catch these germs they can die it's a very serious matter" Abby says
the girls learn the routine and me and Kalani are demonstrating
"okay come get in it" Gia says to JoJo as they bring out the plastic bubble
they put her in the bubble and blow it up
"wait she can only be in it for five minutes" Gia says
"when we open this you need to suck air okay let's practise this one time" Abby says
Abby tried the zipper and it doesn't unzip
"get her out of here the zipper is stuck" Abby says
we get the zipper unstuck and JoJo takes a breath
we then get JoJo out of the bubble
"you okay?" Abby asks
"i'm good it was fun!" JoJo smiles
"okay listen to me this is the first competition of the season now you're off doing the singing,the acting the movie and this and that everybody else is grabbing their leg and pulling it over their head and those are the people end up beating you in the long wrong, the dancing has to come first and that's what you all seem to be forgetting" Abby says
the girls over the routine against and Jill pulls out Kendall
and then she comes back in and continues dancing
"come on Kendall let's go! i'm not putting up with this let's go if you think she's a hot mess then someone else can manage her" Jill yells and Kendall leaves the room
it's been one singular day and someone has already stormed out
|Two Days To The Premiere|
today i'm not at the studio disney has invited me to do a like a promotion interview for the movie and i'm super excited
Kaylas outfit with her hair down:
i get dropped off at the building before mom and Kenz go to dance and one of the chaperones that are helping me at the building brings me up to the room we are filming in
i sit down in the chair infront of the camera
"okay so we are going to introduce you and we'll say the quotes and you'll answer" the stage manager says
"okay" i smile
"Disney Chanel presents who said that? i read out quotes and you guess who said that..today Kayla Ziegler who said that in descendants are you ready?"
"ready as i'll ever be" i smile
"awesome let's do this.. 'way to go jay now we have to go to school tomorrow"
"oh um Mal? sounds like something she'd say" i laugh
"you are correct!"
i do a dramatic hair flip
"i'm not sure, i mean let's give the anti-love potion a few minutes to take affect."
"Ben." i say
"confident answer"
"i mean who else got spelled" i shrug
"chad? chad..chad! Evie's done something to Chad"
i hesitate
"oh this could be like three different people...Jane? wait no Lonnie" i say
"awh sorry Kayla out of luck"
"what! who said it?" i ask
"it was Audrey"
"ohh that's annoying" i say
"and lots and lots of mirrors" the stage manager then quotes
"Evie.. that's such an Evie line." i say
"correct again"
i do a little victory dance
"Ben, Ben! help me this thing is a killer he's gonna chase me and rip out my throat!"
"that's in a disney movie? woah..um..Carlos?" i say
"that is correct"
i gasp i take a small bow in my seat
"what was it out off?" i ask
"it was out of six and you got five out of six"
"i'll take that! that isn't bad" i beam
we finish up and i had a lot of fun
|Day Of The Premiere|
it's premiere day! and i'm so excited the girls and moms and Abby are at the competition and i'm staying behind to get ready but mom, Maddie and Kenzie will be at the carpet later!
i head to get ready for the primere
Kaylas outfit for the primere
i LOVE my dress it feels so like Dizzy
i get to the venue for the primere and it's packed with people and there's so much going on
but i get out of the car and i see my mom Maddie and Kenzie!
"oh my gosh!" i squeal and i run and hug Maddie
"i missed you" i say
"i missed you too" Maddie says
"hi Kenz" i say and i hug her
mom hugs me next
"this is so exciting are you excited?" mom asks
"really excited." i say
"how did the competition go?"
"the group got first! and Brynn solo also got first" Kenzie says
"yay! Abby will be pleased" i say
"i know thank god" Kenzie says
we then head to the red carpet and it's so cool i get photos and i get to pose and i also have people asking me things
"so Kayla going from reality tv to a disney movie was the change hard?"
"it wasn't hard it was just different Dance Moms i'm myself and with Descendants i get to play someone else" i say
Maddie and Kenzie also get photos and we get a photo with us three together
and we walk off the red carpet
"you're a disney star!" Maddie says
"i know" i squeal
"guys i just saw Dove Cameron!" Kenzie comes running up
"you need to chill" Maddie laughs
"wait where?" I ask
"over there" Kenzie points
"oh here you go..showing off you know these people" Maddie says
"hah!" i stick my togune out
Dove turns and sees me and she gives me the biggest wave and signals for me to come over
i walk through the people and get to Dove
"hi" i smile and we hug
"how are you?" Dove asks
"i'm really good" i smile
the paparazzi i guess you call them nag us for a photo so we pose for a photo and then i see Sofia
"hi!" Sofia beams and she comes over and hugs me
"hello" i smile
we also get a photo together and then a full cast get a photo together
we start to go in for the actual movie and i find mom Maddie and Kenz
"we you're like a celebrity now" Maddie jokes as we sit down
"what you jealous i'm catching up?" i smile
"in your dreams" Maddie says.
i fake gasp
it gets introduced that it's the premiere ect ect and then the movie starts
and let me say these songs are absolute jams
then we get up to the scene before me!
when i show up on screen Maddie squeezed my hand
and my scene came our so good like the montage with me and Dove and with Thomas it came out so good
we continue the movie and it gets to the scene with with Sofia and it's so cute
and i'm pretty sure mom cried
my final scene pops up and clip of me saying 'you didn't think that was the end of the story did you?' didn't make it in..China said but i'm still glad i got do it!
at the end of the movie everyone claps
and Maddie hugs me
"you were so good honey i'm so proud" mom says and hugs me
we go to the after party and it's so much fun
me and Maddie and Kenzie where such show offs and we improved a trio with us in heels
i think we could've broken a bone and Abby would've been so mad..
after the part i say bye to the cast and i will see them again as we've hopefully been confirmed for a third but i'll miss them
i hug Sofia
"if you cry i swear Kayla" Sofia laughs
"i'm not i'm not" i say and i fan my face
"this didn't goodbye you know that" Sofia says
"now you're making it sad" i say and i start to cry slightly
"oops!" Sofia says and gives me a hug after we say goodbye i walk over to Maddie Kenzie and mom
"save your tears for the pillow" Kenzie jokes
"oh shut up" i say and playfully shove Kenzie
what a fun week!
the movie turned out great i loved it.
