I was sitting in jays room, I took a deep breath as I glanced down at the pregnancy test, It was positive. I was pregnant.
I was suppose to show jay but he left, I closed my eyes and put the phone back in my pocket and sighed, deciding not to text him about it and just wait on him instead
Crismely- what? Omg!
I dropped the pregnancy test outta my hand as I heard Crismely yell which made melz, zulis and i run to her
Melz- mom whats wrong, what's wrong?
Crismely- Justin got shot, he's losing alot of blood and he's unconscious, we need to go!
My heart was pounding as if it could beat out of my chest and my palms were getting sweaty. at that moment everything was going in slow motion, Crismely started crying, melz started comforting her mom and Zuli and I were speechless.
Crismely- this is exactly why I didn't want them to go!
She cried out as tears filled my eyes, I didn't want to be pregnant, I'm too young to have kids. Even worse I might have to do it alone if he ends up dying on us
Zuli looked at me and started hugging me, a few minutes later we rushed to the hospital

The hospital 8:00pm
Once we arrived at the hospital we see mama love and all the girls and they run up to us, the doctors rushed jay in a operating room and now we are sitting there waiting for updates

everybody fell asleep waiting for jay to get done with surgery except for me and Crismely, we were having a lil moment talking about memories with jay and I decided to have the courage to tell her that I'm pregnant

Crismely- yeah?
Y/n- I'm pregnant
I was so nervous to tell her
Crismely- wait really?
I nooded
Y/n- I found out last night, that's why I came over today, i was gonna tell him
Crismely- are you gonna keep it?
She smiled
Y/n- I want to but it depends if he wants it or not, it's not just my baby
I sighed and my eyes started watering
Y/n- I'm scared he's not gonna make it and I'm gonna have to parent alone, I don't want to lose him

the doors swung opened waking everyone up, making us break the hug, it was the doctor which caused everyone to stand up
Doctor- family for Justin Reyes?
Crismely- where is my baby, is my baby ok?

Doctor- are you his mom?

Doctor- he is alive, but I'll go into details when we go into his room
We all smiled and cheered a little

Doctor- he's sleeping right now, y'all can visit him but only a few at a time
Everyone was looking around at who wanted to see him first and most of their eyes landed on me

He got up and we started walking, following the doctor
We were walking the hospital halls for what felt like a life time in complete silence, i look over at notti and he was already looking at me

i nodded in response as we walked up to his hospital room
We walked in and we see his sleeping body and we hear the beeping of the machine, he was pale and there was blood all over his hands and shirt, it was scary, that's when I realized that I love him and I never said it back to him the other day and I regret it
I walked over to the chair that is right next to his hospital bed and sat down grabbing his hand, notti sat next to me in the other chair in complete silence till he spoke up
Notti- I heard what you said before everyone woke up
I turned my head to him confused
Notti- I think y'all should keep it
He smiled and I was shocked
Y/n- you heard that?
Notti- duh nigga, I'm actually excited and I feel like he would be too
Out of know where I feel jay move his hand

He laughed causing us to laugh too

Jay- speaking of mama, where is she and the rest of everybody? Do they not care about me or something?
As he said that everyone started walking in
Crismely- awww my baby, are you ok?
Jay- yeah I'm fine, not gonna lie when I was starting to pass out I was shook outta my boots, I thought my ass was finna die
Everyone started laughing but Crismely wasn't
Jay- ma chill, I'm fine and I'm sorry
As of that the doctor walked in
Doctor- I'm here to discuss about his wound and the healing process
Crismely nodded her head
Doctor- Abdominal gunshot wounds can result in severe traumatic internal injury. This includes multisystem organ injury, hemoperitoneum, and life-threatening internal bleeding. Since bullet trajectory is often unpredictable, penetrating abdominal injury can be potentially catastrophic if there is significant vascular injury. But the Bullet was a .22, missed all vital organs it logged near his right hip and we had to do the surgery to get the bullet out
Crismely- thank god, what about when we go home?
Doctor- The after surgery care can be irritating and very painful. constant packing and bandaging of the wound. Moving around would be almost impossible the first 3 days and stomach is gonna swell
Jay- can I go home tonight?
Doctor- no, we are keeping you till we know that you are fully good, that could go up to one to two days
Jay groaned and the doctor walked out
Crismely- y'all can all go home, imma stay with him tonight
Y/n- I'll stay too
As of that everyone walked out
