How little they mean
Written on a wall
Or a screen
Thousands of words are in my head
But I can't find the right ones
Some people even use their words
As their shooting guns
I don't wanna say the wrong words
Cause words can hurt
So I'll shut up
And won't mention the stain on your shirt

They can mean so much
When they compliment you
Or when they judge
Words can mean so much
Especially when no one is speaking
Words can hurt so much
That your mind starts bleeding
Words can mean so little
Cause we learnt to talk but not to speak
I hear thousands of words
I hear them every week
Most of them get to my ears
But I won't keep them in mind
Cause very few of these words
Are actually kind
Words
And how we took their meaning away
But there are still five words where I know
That their meanings will stay.
