3rd person POV
Liv woke up the next morning with JJ's head pressed between her breasts and his arms firmly around her waist, the same as it was when they fell asleep
She gently took his arms and unravelled herself from his hold and placed his head on the pillow and began to look around for the small zip-lock bag that had been thrown on the floor somewhere. she lifted clothes and moved shoes and swimming suits and after 5 minutes she found the bag under her desk
She didn't really know what to do with it anymore. She wasn't going to take it, she had more strength now than she did last night, but she still didn't have enough strength to throw it out.
She knew there was only one place she could put it without anyone knowing. She rushed over to the wardrobe and moved some old boxes until she could see the hardwood floor. She made a fist and started to lightly knock on the floor until she found the holo part and lifted the board, revealing a small baby pink box her father had got for her when she was 6
she put the small bag in it and quickly but the box back in the floor and the floorboard over it, and covered it with the other boxes before JJ could wake up and see what she was doing.
None of he friends knew about her hiding spot in the floor, and she wanted to keep it that way. It was just easier
She heard movement on the bed behind her and turned to see JJ sitting up in bed, rubbing his eyes
Liv quickly stood up and walked over to him as if nothing happened, sitting beside him on the bed "Good morning" she said, softly
"Good morning, beautiful" he replied and kisses her lips softly
"How are you feeling?" she asks, referring to what happened the night before
"My chest hurts" he rests his head on her shoulder "but I'll be okay, don't worry about me"
"I'll always worry about you, JJ"
JJ, not wanting to talk about it anymore, got up and grabbed her hand, pulling her up with him "Come on, let's get some food"
"I don't think we have any" she told her boyfriend as he pulled her out of her room to the kitchen
"Oh, good, you're up" Pope said as he noticed the couple walk into the kitchen "Now you can help us with the winch"
JJ groaned "You know, I'm really not in the best form to be doing that today"
"Aww" Pope said with fake sympathy "Come on, Kie's already out there, it's almost finished anyway"
Pope walked out and Liv went to follow when she was stopped by a hand on her arm "Wait, wait, wait" JJ turned her around to face him and put his hands on her waist "Why don't we just stay in here and I can show you how sorry I am about yesterday" he leaned down to place soft kisses on her neck
Liv hummed "As much I would love that" she placed her hand gently on his chest, pushing him back "We have to help them, J"
"But I don't want to" he whined
"Then do it for me" she whispered, getting up on her tippy toes place a gentle kiss on his lips, knowing that he would listen to her
JJ rolled his eyes "Fine, fine" she grabbed his hand and pulled him outside "You're lucky I love you"

Liv and JJ ended up sitting with their feet in the hot tub. They started helping, and they did help a little, but they kept messing around and being annoying, that's what Pope thought anyway, and he told them to go sit down
"How's it feeling?" Pope asked Kiara as she was in the air on the pully thing that they had made
"Feels good"
Pope nodded "Taken you down"
"John b pulling a Houdini" JJ said after taking a sip of his beer that Liv had fought with him over, not wanting him to be drinking so early in the morning
"Yeah, where is he?" Pope questioned "I got my scholarship interview tomorrow. We gotta get this done"
Liv shrugged "He was supposed to be back by now"
Suddenly John b came walking past where Kie was being lowered to the ground "Speak of the devil. Hey!" JJ called out to him "Dude, I set up the entire winch to pull up the gold and everything"
"No, he did not" Pope denied "I did that"
"Hey" Kie shouted
"John b" Liv called out to her brother as he ignored everyone and walked into the chateau
"Okay, that's it?" JJ questioned, confused
"Uh... what's that all about?" Pope asked
"I was gonna ask you the same question" JJ answered as him and Liv got out of the hot tub and followed their friends into the house
They walked into the house to see John b trashing it looking for something "You alright, man?" Pope asked "What- what's up?"
"What are you looking for, Johnny?" Liv asked as she walked closer to her brother
He continued to ignore everyone and walked over to the sofa, lifting the cousins
"Bro, what's going on?" John b found the gun in the sofa and picked it up, looking at it for a second as Liv's eyes widened "John b what do you need the gun for?" JJ asked as he walked closer to his best friend
John b seen JJ getting closer so he grabbed his arms and threw him onto the sofa which had been made into a bed
"John b what the fuck!" Liv shouted as she made her way over to her boyfriend to help him up
John b made his way to the back door but was blocked by Pope "What are you JJ now?"
John b pushed Pope to the side, as he crashed into the table, John b continued to walk out side to JJ bike, ignoring everyones calls for him to calm down
Kie asked if Pope was okay before running after her friend shouting "John b, what the hell are you doing?"
The four friends run outside to see John b getting on JJ's bike and revving the engine "John b what's going on! Talk to me!" Liv shouted over the engine
"Ward knows about the gold!" he finally said then turned around and looked at Liv in her eyes "He killed our dad" then he rood off
Everyone ran after him I hopes to catch him, even though they kew they wouldn't, but Liv stayed still, staring off into space
Ward killed her father. The man that took her in, gave her somewhere to live, the man that owned the house she had stayed at many times with Sarah and Kie, killed her dad
He always seemed nice, like he wouldn't hurt a fly. He was always nice to her whenever she was over, she was nice to her even when her and Rafe broke up. She didn't think he would be capable of doing anything like this, but it all makes sense now
After her father past he started being nicer to her than he had been before, she never understood why, but now she does
He felt guilty
And her father. She never thought that he was alive, but there was always a small part of her the hoped he was out there somewhere, waiting for the right time to come home, but now knowing that she would never see him again made her feel like her heart was ripped out of her chest.
She felt like that when the police first told her and John b that their dad was presumed dead, and now she was feeling it all over again
A hand on her arm snapped her out of her thoughts "Liv" she looked in the ocean blue eyes she fell so deeply in love with "are you okay"
Tears clouded her vision as she shook her head, not finding the strength to talk, and shoved her head in JJ's chest and let out a sob
JJ gently stroked her hair as she sobbed in his chest, having a strong grip on his shirt. His heart broke for her. He remembers how heart broken she was when he first went missing, she cried for hours in his arms, that was when she wasn't with Rafe at Barry's
He didn't want her to go through that again, he hoped that she didn't. He hated seeing her upset, he always has
He just hoped that she wouldn't go back to how she was 9 months ago
