Basement/ Early Revenge era Gerard!
Very Yippee!
"Hey Mikey! I'm here!" I yelled. "Hi Donna"
"Hi sweetie" Donna smiled. "Mikey's in the shower he'll come soon"
"Alright"
She left the house and I went to the living room.
I sat on the couch and noticed someone curled up on the other end.
"Gerard?" I asked. "Hi"
"Hello" he said quietly, glancing at the from behind his black hair.
I smiled at him, his eyes widened and he blushed slightly.
"Do you like the Misfits?" I pointed to his shirt.
"Mhm" he nodded and swiped some strands of hair out of his face.
"I like them too"
"They're really good" his voice was barely above a whisper and his lips were pressed in a very small smile.
"Y/N!" Mikey yelled.
"Little Mikes!" I got up and walked over to him.
He gave me a high five and glanced at his brother.
Gerard quickly got up and ran to his room.
"Is he always like that?" I asked.
"Yeah, when there's people over at least" Mikey answered. "C'mon, let's go play video games"
We went to his room and started playing.
"I'm gonna go get something to drink" I said, getting up from Mikey's bed.
"Alright" he yawned.
I went to the kitchen and was surprised to see Gerard there making a sandwich.
"Hi Gerard" I said softly, not wanting to startle him.
"Oh" he mumbled. "Hi Y/N"
His cheeks went pink and he took a bite out of the sandwich.
I opened the fridge and took a can of Coke.
"Do you maybe wanna hangout sometime?"
Gerard's head shot up and he blushed even more.
"Y-yeah"
"Alr-" before I could finish, he ran to his room.
"What a strange guy" I chuckled to myself.
Gerard's POV:
I ran to my room and slumped onto my bed.
I screamed into my pillow and stared at the ceiling.
"God damn it" I muttered. "Y/N"
He's cute and sweet and talented and-
Fuck.
I like Y/N.
That's why I-
I covered my face with my hands and groaned.
Y/N's POV:
"Hey Mikes I gotta leave, I'll see you tomorrow's right?"
"Yeah" he smiled. "Bye"
"Bye Mikes"
I left his room and grabbed my jacket.
"Hi" a quiet voice said next to me.
"Jesus!" I jumped. "Gerard, you scared me"
"Sorry" he looked down.
"It's fine"
"Here" He shoved a note in my hand and stood there for a moment before running into his little cave.
The note had his number on it along with some doodles.
I chuckled softly and put it in my pocket.
Next week...
"Hi Donna, is Gerard home?" I asked as she opened the door.
"Yeah, he's in the basement" she answered, a small smile appearing on her face. "Come on in"
I went into the basement and knocked on the door as I opened it.
"Gerard?" I said. "Hello?"
"Hi Y/N" he said from the corner of his room.
He had a bunch of paintings and drawings everywhere and a guitar stood in another corner.
"What do you wanna do?"
"I Uhm- uh- well-" he stuttered, his cheeks going pink.
"Do you wanna watch some movies?"
He nodded and pat the spot next to him on the bed.
I hopped on and brushed my hand against his thigh on accident.
He blushed and grabbed his laptop.
We watched movie for about 5 hours until Gerard fell asleep.
I smiled softly as I looked at him.
He's so pretty and cute.

I blushed as I felt him put an arm around me.
His cheeks were pink but he was fast asleep.
I pet his head and his lips pressed into a smile.
He opened his eyes slightly and his face went red.
"How'd you sleep?" I asked.
"I... uhm" he mumbled, sitting up. "I don't know"
He seemed really embarrassed but I smiled.
"You're really sweet, you know?"
His eyes widened and he covered his face.
"T-thanks" he hid behind his hair and smiled slightly.
I got up and stretched.
"I have to go home now but I'll see you soon, okay?" I said.
To my surprise Gerard hugged me, pressing his face against my shoulder.
"Thanks for hanging out with me" he said softly.
I hugged back and we stood there for a while.
He was so warm and cuddly I didn't wanna let go.
I could hear a slight sniffle from him.
"Are you crying?" I asked.
"Mhm" he wiped his eyes. "I don't want you to go"
"Hey it's okay" I pushed a strand of his hair behind his ear. "Give me your hand"
He showed me his hand and I gave him my bracelet.
"There"
He hugged me again and I smiled. "I'll come over tomorrow"
"Mhm"
Gerard's POV:
Y/N left and I sat down.
I stared at the bracelet he gave me.
"He's so-"
I slapped myself. "Gerard! You're not falling this deep this fast!"
I buried my face in a pillow and screamed.
"Gerard dear, what's the matter?" Mom came into the room.
"Nothing!" I said.
A month later...
Y/N's POV:
I went to the Way house and walked inside.
"Hey Y/N!" Ray smiled.
"Hi Ray" I waved at him.
"Ready to play?" Mikey asked.
"Yeah, Uhm, can Gerard come too?"
Ray looked at Mikey and nodded.
"If he wants to"
"I'll get him"
I went to the basement and knocked on the floor.
"Hey Gee" I said. "Wanna come play games with us?"
"Yeah" he smiled at me.
My heart melted at the sight of his smile.
"C'mon then!" I grabbed his hand and took him upstairs.
"Hey Y/N/N!" Frank yelled.
"Hi Frankie" I smiled.
"Hi" Gerard said quietly.
He was hiding behind his hair again and holding my hand softly.
"Hi Gerard" Ray smiled.
"What should we play?"
"Mario Kart!"
The guys sat on the couch and I sat on the floor with Gerard.
We started playing and the game heated up quickly.
We were yelling at each other and surprisingly enough, Gerard was yelling too.
He was fighting for first place with Frank they were screaming at each other.
Everyone else was laughing.
"YOU WON'T WIN ME YOU SHORT WEED SMOKING CHILD!!" Gerard yelled.
"WELL AT LEAST I'M NOT A FREAK WHO LIVES IN MY PARENTS' BASEMENT!! Frank screamed back.
Gerard dropped his controller and stared at the screen.
I placed a hand on his shoulder but he got up and ran to his room.
"Shit!" I said, getting up. "GERARD!!"
Mikey started yelling at Frank as I ran after Gerard.
He was sobbing in his bed, wrapped in blankets.
"Hey Gee" I said.
"Go away!" he cried, covering his ears.
"No, I'll be right here" I sat down next to him.
"Frank's right, I am a freak"
He was still sobbing his eyes out.
I cupped his face with my hands and looked into his hazel eyes.
"Listen to me Gerard, you're beautiful, no matter what anyone else says, you're beautiful to me"
I wiped a lone tear of his cheek and smiled.
He hugged me and buried his face into my chest.
I pet his head and and hugged him tightly.
"Y/N" he sobbed.
"I'm here" I whispered. "I'm right here"
He held onto me for dear life and just cried.
I closed my eyes and buried my face into his hair.
"Gerard?" Frank stood at the door.
Gerard looked up at him and his eyes widened.
"No" he whispered, hugging me tighter.
"It's okay, I've got you"
Frank closed the door and walked over to us.
"Gerard I'm sorry, I didn't realize what I was saying" he said. "Im sorry"
"It's okay" Gerard nodded slightly, looking at Frank from behind his black hair.
"Do you wanna continue playing?"
"No, I think I'll stay right here"
Frank chuckled at us and left.
Gerard cuddled up to me and sighed.
"Hey Y/N" he whispered.
"Yes?" I grabbed his chin softly and tilted his head up.
His face went red and he started stuttering.
"I- Uhm- I-"
"I love you and I'll love you no matter how weird you are"
"I love you too, like so much, you don't understand what you do to me, every time I see I feel so happy and-" he blurted out. "Can I just kiss you?"
"Yeah"
He grabbed my face and kissed me.
His lips were sweet and soft and I melted against him.
I closed my eyes and kissed back.
I could feel him pull away and I opened my eyes.
"Was that any good?" He asked nervously, blushing.
I just pulled him into another kiss and he yelped in surprise.
I slid my hand on the back of his neck and pulled him closer.
As I pulled away he just stared at me, his cheeks pink.
"I love you so much" he breathed out. "So so so much"
He tackled me and giggled.
I chuckled and hugged him. "I love you more"
"Like that's even possible"
He kissed my cheek and smiled.
