Back in the Crystal Cliffs Academy, the other rulers are trying to console fWhip while figuring out how to get Gem back. Although Lizzie gets a little distracted.
"Wait a minute... What is all this stuff?" Lizzie asks, looking around at the mess of pastries.
"Oh yeah. Gem was trying to make different kinds of cakes with an old elven cookbook. I helped translate a bit." Scott answers.
"Wow." Lizzie decides to take a bite out of a cake labeled Black Forest Cake. "MMM! This is delicious!" Lizzie is struck by the wondrous taste of the pastry in front of her. She absentmindedly picks it up and Scott takes notice.
"Hey. It didn't break."
"What do you mean?" Lizzie realizes she picked it up. "Oh. OH! This is amazing!"
"Ooh! Can I try some?" Katherine Elizabeth, Guardian of the Overgrown and Lady of House Blossom asks.
"Sure!" Lizzie cuts a slice of cake and hands to Katherine.
"Mmm. That really is good! Although I think we need something like a flatter bowl for it." Katherine concurs.
"Here... I can do that." fWhip mutters as he gets up and grabs some wood, crafting a slab and cutting it down to be smaller. "I call it a plate. Came up with it one day when I was trying to eat some pumpkin pie..."
Lizzie cuts another slice and puts it on fWhips plate. "Here. I think you should try it. Your sister made it after all." Lizzie tries to comfort fWhip with a smile.
fWhip tries the cake and smiles. It feels like Gem's with him. Like a part of her is inside that cake. "Thank you."
