SAMANTHA'S POV
"Bye mom," I whisper as she holds me tight in the long narrow driveway.
"My little baby is growing up."
"I'll always be your baby."
"I love you."
"Love you too mom." I give her 1 last hug before slipping into the front seat next to Dan, to go pick Jackson, Carly and Alex.

"How was your thanksgiving?" Jackson asked getting into the back seat. Seeing the glances Dan and I gave,
"I take it, thanksgiving didn't go very well."

3 hours into the car ride I was sitting in the backseat in the middle of Carly and Alex. I had not been feeling well all day so now in the midst of a long car ride my nausea was climbing rapidly.
Carly could see the anxiety I was having,
"are you okay Ant?"
I gulped before saying, "hand me a bag."
"Do you want me to pull over?" Dan questioned from the front seat and quickly took a glance to see me hacking up into the bag.
We pulled into the nearest rest stop and Carly quickly got out of the car with me and took me to the bathrooms so I could finish vomiting.
I guess we were gone a while because by the time we got back the boys looked a little worried.
"What's wrong?" I asked as me and Carly approached them.
"Babe!" Dan shouted, "you've been gone for 45 minutes!"
Carly and I glanced at each other, had it really been 45 minutes?
Suddenly I felt another wave of nausea and bent down to the grass in front of the car. I could feel my friends rushing to my side and helping me up.
"Samantha! We can't keep driving with you like this, we're finding the nearest hotel and staying the night."
I tried to change Dan's mind, not wanting to hold up the trip, but his mind was made up.
When we got to the hotel, we got 2 rooms: me and Dan roomed with Carly and Jackson and let Alex get his own room.
"I should probably call Kenzie," I mumble sitting down on my bead and picking up my phone. She was probably back from her brothers by now.
"Hey Ant! When will you guys get here?" Kenzie said excitedly through the phone.
"Heey... Funny story, we're staying the night at a hotel, we'll be home by tomorrow."
"Oh ok, I'll let you go then, you sound tired, see ya tomorrow!" Though she tried to sound cheery, the disappointment in her voice was unmistakable.
"Ok, see you tomorrow!"
She hung up.

KENZIE'S POV
"Ok, see you tomorrow!"
I hung up. Why couldn't they come home today? What would I do alone in the dorm for a day? Suddenly I heard a sharp knock on the door.
I open the door to see the familiar bright smile.
"Hello!" Sean says in his usual cheerful attitude.
"Hey! Wanna watch a movie or something? No one's coming back 'til tomorrow so we have the dorm to ourselves."
He looked a little surprised but gladly agreed and walked in like he owned the place. I loved that about him, he had a confidence that no one else had, a positive energy that I always wanted to be around.
He sat down. "So how was your thanksgiving?"
"Good." I responded casually, "and you?"
He laughed a little, "I'm Canadian remember? We celebrate thanksgiving in October. I've been here the whole time!"
I laughed a little and snuggled down next to him to watch some movie that didn't even closely compare to Sean.

SAMANTHA'S POV
I woke up at 3am with Dan's arms wrapped around me, I quickly got up and made a run for the bathroom with Dan quickly up and behind me. I made it to the bathroom just in time and to the toilet in the matter if seconds before the putrid liquid came out. Dan was quickly by my side and lifting my hair away from the vomit.
The moment he was with me I felt complete. I never wanted to be away from him ever, I was truly in love with Daniel Penn.
"How are you feeling?" He asks softly,
"I'm home." I whisper in his arms before passing out right then and there.
