Illumina was walking through the lushious forest to hunt and came across the end of their home kingdom, which rested near the ocean.
There, on one of the big rocks, sat a long haired person, their hair shining in the gleaming sunlight.
Illumina had went to greet them, as he thought he might as well get to know more people.
Illumina approached the white haired person, his guard skills making him as quite as he can be.
"You don't have to sneak up on me, you know", the person responded. Their voice sounded familial and kind.
"Oh, I'm sorry if I had scared you ! I just wanted to say hello.", Illumina said.
The white-head turned around to him and jumped off all the rocks, landing gracefully onto the ground next to Illumina.
"Well, Hello there, stranger ! The name's Dreamwalker, but please just call me Dream." Dream introduced themself to the man infront of him. They were covering their face with a cloth. The clips at the end of the cloth are attached onto their hair, so the cloth stays there.
Illumina held out his hand for a handshake and spoke "the Name is Illumina. General Illumina runner ".
"Giving your title too, eh ? Well then, what brings you to my home, general Illumina ?", Dream said, bowing down at the end of his sentence.
"I was just out hunting, and I found this place.", He responded.
Dream just nodded. And they both fell into silence.
To break the awkward silence, Illumina asks "How have you been, Dream ?". His voice held curiosity.
Dream giggled quietly at the unhidden curiosity and said, "It has been great here, but with you here, it's became better. It gets lonely here sometimes".
Illumina unknowingly smiled at that, he wished he could experience some peace like what Dream probably experiences.
"Well, would you like to spend some time along with me ? We can talk about our interests and veiw the horizon.", Dream suggested.
"That would be nice to do so. Also, please just refer to me as Illumina", He replied.
Dream smiled behind their mask. "Ok then, Illumina. Now, follow me", they said.
Dream walked towards the ocean again while signalling Illumina to follow them.
Illumina followed them.
There, at the beginning of the ocean, was a bridge made of beautifully carved stone. On the stone, little plants were growing, alongside some potted plants. A lot of potted plants.
The end of the bridge was nowhere to be seen. There was a ring of fog that covered their kingdom, and it looks like wherever Dream was leading him was in that rings, or outside it.
As they walk along the bridge, they started to make small talk. "Do you know that the bridge we're walking on is hand-crafted and carved by me ?", Dream said.
Illumina was rather shocked to say the least. Someone would have to spend weeks or months to do all of this.
Illumina decided to pay a closer attention at the design of the bridge. It looks absolutely beautiful. It felt like it was telling him a story.
There were many symbols he didn't know, some of them were reoccurring, so naturally he assumed that it was a secret code.
As they neared the end of the bridge, illumina saw a house. He assumed it to be Dream's, and that was correct to do so.
"Here we are, my house", Dream said, with a smile hinted in his voice.
The entire day they talked and shared their life experiences.
At the end of the day, the both had became friends.
Quite good friends.

The next day, Illumina again went to visit Dream. He went to the shore, but they were nowhere to be seen.
As illumina looked around, he couldn't find Dream anywhere near the shores, so he decided to go and look for them in their house.
As Illumina walked the ethereal bridge, he took the time to look at all the hand carved scenes painted on the side-stones.
They went in a sequence of a story he remembers being told to him as a child from his mother.
Two rulers of a far away land of magic, representing both day and night. The older's Day being loved by all and so he was filled with pride, while the nights the younger brought were feared and ignored. The younger of the rulers fell for the one lady who would admire his time of rule.
They loved eachother dearly, and the lady had made night more beloved amongst all other creatures.
They had married happily.
But after that, the pride of the sun turned to it's corruption. As the sun had tried to defeat night, to keep all the adoration for himself, and to erase the only other threat to his eternal rule.
After a long battle of years against the sun, he was defeated, sentenced to years of exile on a star.
After it all, the night and his love had been gifted with an heir. A girl who was dressed in hair that matched the worth of gold. One that shimmered oh so brightly in the glittering moonlight.
And from there, generations upon generations had been born, brightening their symbol of night at each birth, until it was all platinum bright.
After that great moment of memory, Illumina zoned back in and started looking for Dream.
He checked the majority of the beach and also his cottage, but he couldn't find Dream. He decided to wait for him rather than look around a possibly confusing and dangerous maze of a forest.
Illumina sat near the waters on a rock, everytime when a wave hit, his feet got sprinkled with bits of droplets.
As time passed by, Illumina felt himself drifting away in his mind, which was strange because he was trained to resist the urge to zone out.
He was so out that he didn't even notice the footsteps coming towards him.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Illumina." The sudden voice knocked Illumina out of his state. He look to the direction of the voice and looked at Dream.
Dream just smiled at him and sat down beside him. Illumina just stayed silent, looking at the ocean. The both of them viewing the now dark shades of the ocean and sky. The leftover light from the almost gone sun hit them softly.
"Forgive me for making you wait so much", Dream apologized, not looking away from the horizon.
Illumina just spared a glance at them and said "it's okay".
After some minutes had passed by, and it got even darker, both of them had got up.
"You simply must stay for dinner ! It's the only way I can repay you for your time", Dream insisted.
After a harmless little argument of if Illumina should stay for dinner, Dream was preparing meals for the both of them.
As it took time to cook, Illumina was on the beach practicing with his sword and bow. He had asked Dream if they had any kind of arrows, to with they had given him quite a good amount of arrows.
After some time, Dream came out, their face looked kind of tired.
They called him for dinner, and they both went inside the cottage.
Apparently, Dream had made dessert for the both of them as well.
He had made a nice and nutritious steak ( with vegetables of course ) and some lemonade. Alongside were small fish pieces.
For dessert, he had made some mint jelly.
To say the least, Illumina had never had such a delicious and home-y meal in his years of living as a knight.

Moments turned into days. Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months and Their friendship had grown stronger than ever. Tho their location of meeting had changed to a more accessible plain, a small island which was rather known for it's wild berries and fruits. After many days of talking together and enjoying dinner, You could say Illumina had fallen for his friend.
His colleagues back at the kingdom had noticed his interest in the woods and had thought nothing about it at first, but after some more time, they started getting more suspicious of him.
They had all collectively agreed to ask him about this, but whenever they approached him, he'd just be zoned out thinking about something.
One day, three of his colleagues, Punz, George and Sapnap had decided to follow him into the woods. They saw him moving so very swiftly through the branches of the trees to get to the shore.
As he finally moved to the shore, so did they.
He then started walking onto a small deck with boats tied to a post in the water.
He took one of the boats and started rowing. The other followed him with their own boats.
As they all went through the barrier of mist surrounding their home, they were drifted to a small island.
Illumina tied his boat onto another post and went towards the rockier side of the shore. And of course, everyone followed him.
There, they saw something they couldn't believe.
Illumina was sitting in a floral design blanket alongside someone. A very pretty someone.
That stranger had a small basket alongside them, and they opened it to reveal some food.
At that point, all the other boys were getting so close to tripping and then, they did trip, alerting both of them.
As they recollected themselves, and explained why they were there, Illumina went ahead and introduced all of them to Dream. And it went something like this -
Illumina - here's George, the most lazy person of the entire kingdom.
George - HEY ! Anyways I'm George ! Nice to meet you.
Dream - Nice to meet you too, George. I'm Dream.
George -- *Malfunctions because Dream called his name sweetly*
Illumina - this is Punz, the most money-hungry of them all.
Punz - yeah yeah, but right now I'm hungry for something else, I'f you know what I mean *Winks at Dream*
Dream, purposefully ignoring it - nice to meet you too Punz.
Illumina - *cackling up*
Illumina - And here is the pyromaniac, Sapnap.
Sapnap - hey shh ! Hi I'm Sapnap, and he's lying about the pyromaniac thing.
Dream - good to meet you Sapnap, also I know the pyromaniac thing is real. I've seen you in action. It's impressive honestly.
Sapnap - *blushing furiously*
Illumina - *angry*
"Why don't you all join us in our picnic ? I think we have enough food," Dream said gently.
"W-We'd be honoured to !" The three of them said as Illumina silently cursed all of them for ruining his 'date' with Dream.
As the all sat on the picnic mat, Dream gave them all some food.
Dream was happy to all of them enjoying his cooking, they had never really got the pleasure of watching someone truly enjoy their meals (other than illumina).
Dream had made some new friends that day.

After that incident, Dream had started visiting their kingdom, and by visiting, I mean hanging out in the forest and tying letters to birds and sending them to Illumina. They had even made a small cabin in the woods
One day, while looking for some sweet bushberries near their cabin, Dream came across some blood on the ground. Following the small trail, they came across a very injured man.
He had some cuts and bruises and a rather large wound on his leg. Coming closer, Dream could see his torn attire, like he had been slashed through.
Not wasting any time, Dream attempted to carry him to their cabin.
Even though the man is bigger than them, Dream isn't that weak, with some-to-much difficulty, Dream was able to carry them to their cabin.
Dream lied the man on their (spare) bed, and began treating his wounds.
Now, Dream can't be considered a doctor, but he has indeed taken medical classes, ones which contain how to perform CPR and how to disinfect a wound and dress it up correctly.
(Idk medical stuff)
Dream bandaged the man and went to making some food.
After some time, Dream went into the room with some water and noticed the man was waking up. He introduced himself as Technoblade, and Dream introduced themself.
Dream gave him the water, which techno hesitated in taking.
After some more convincing, techno finally took the cup of water. Dream's face had immediately softened with relief and he stood up and went out of the room.
They came back with some food on a platter. A bowl of soup, some slices of fruits mixed with berries and some strawberry jelly.
On the side of the bed, layed a table, on which they put the platter carefully.
"I'll leave you alone now so you can enjoy the food. Please, don't be hesitate to call for me if you wish to" Dream said as they left the room.

Techno was hesitant. Of course he would be.
He was the fucking prince of the kingdom, Of course he would be hesitant about every move he'll talk.
But right now, everything felt... Wierd. Not the bad kind, it feels...calming?
He doesn't know how to describe this feeling, but he is sure of it. What he is feeling is an emotion he hasn't felt since what felt like forever.
He took the glass and observed the liquid inside. All clear. No trace of any extra additives. Bringing the glass to his mouth, he tasted the pleasent sweetness of spring water.
It only took a few seconds for the water to disappear from the glass, as he seemed to quite thirsty.
After the quench of thirst, he felt the familiar rumble grow inside of him. A sign of hunger.
With hesitation, techno gazed at the platter and picked it up.
The savoury aroma of the soup hit his nose quick and he could wait no more.
It wasn't long before the bowl of soup was empty, injuries surely do a wonder for hunger.
The slices of fruit were a refreshing contrast to the homey soup, the berries one of the sweetest to be tasted.
The strawberry jelly was mildly sweet, with hints of fresh lemon. Small slices of strawberry floated inside the translucent pink jelly. A delecacy to be enjoyed only by the richest of kings and queens.
A delecacy he surely had enjoyed.
