It's been a week since mora found out about jay. Today she's going to see her pops to tell him but also to get advice as well

The day after court Trey came over Mora place and He explained why he kept it a secret from her and he also apologized
"He had to cut a few heads today"He shrugged
He walked to Her refrigerator getting a drink "so where you headed"He said

Mora sighed as she sat down "He deserves to know for sure but its the reaction that got me hesitant to tell him"She said

Mora double checked everything and made sure she didn't forget nothing before she left out the door

Mora was a hour in on her drive. She been in her head the whole time thinking about how to tell her pops and how he's going to react. She also was wondering could her pops already have known. Her thoughts was all over the place

Mora walked in the building an was greeted by 2 officers
"Hello beautiful lady, who you here to see"He smiled at her

"Ok walk through that medal detector for me and she'll take you back"Mora nodded and did as he said
"Just wait here he'll be out in a moment"The lady told her as she lead her to a room
After 5 minutes of waiting Darius walked in the room

She took a deep breath in "We got a lot to talk about no arguing just us talking and being honest ok" She said and he nodded
"First I want to apologize for how I acted at court I should've let you explain to me why you did what you did. I'm sorry that I told you Mari wasnt yours in that way I should've went about it different way because I know that hurt you. I'm sorry for blaming you for everything "She ranted
"You had every right to react the way you did and I don't blame you. I need to be the one apologizing because I shouldn't have left all their with her knowing how she is. I'm sorry for not telling you the truth about your mom I just didn't want you to to go looking for her and when you don't find her then that would've left you broken and I didn't want that" He said
"Why didn't you let us stay with trey when I asked"I asked
"Trey was young he wasn't gon know what to do with y'all especially Mari" He said
"I was young I didn't know what to do with her I had to be grown at 10 years old"She wiped her face an Darius came to sit by her

When we found out she was pregnant again and it was a girl we was excited. We went to the store every day to buy stuff I'd catch her on Amazon everyday. But when she had you its like everything changed in your mom and now that I look back I think she was going through PPD. But one day I came back from work and y'all was sleep and she was gone and she took all her stuff and I was determined to find her I didn't get no rest at all but after 2 months I stopped because I kept reaching a dead end. Mora started messing with her fingers because she nervous about what she had to say "pops"She said gaining her father's attention

"It's June 11th next visit is the 18th and I want all my kids here including trey and bring my grandbaby"He said but mora was stuck
"You said June 11th"She kept repeating it in her head trying to remember why it was important

"I talked to king this morning and he was acting off same with Eli and I just remembered today is there dads death day" Shs said pulling out her phone

When she walked outside she took a deep breath in and smiled

Mora laughed "Boyy gon on you going and before then me, you and Jay gon have a talk"I said

"Next week it is Byeeeee"She hung just in time as she seen Eli and king walking out

Little do they know is that she driving them to their pops grave so they can visit him she also bought flowers, balloons and cleaning supplies if needed. She felt like she had to do this because leaving it up to them they wouldn't have came up here today.
"You ain did shit either"Eli told king
"Wait what I miss"Mora said
"This nigga always wanna preach to somebody but he need to take his on advice"Eli said drinking his "Sprite"
"I'm not the one who drinking lean but if you wanna kill yourself slowly go head"King shrug hitting his blunt
"Lemme see that bottle Eli"Mora said holding her hand out

"I'll pull this car over and beat yo ass for it"She said
"You gon give it back"He asked and she nodded. He handed it to her an she threw it out the window
"Yo fuck is your problem"Eli shook his head and King started laughing until mora reached over and snatched his blunt an threw that out the window too
"Y'all ass been arguing since y'all got in the car both of y'all out of it and I get it y'all both trying to cope because yall hurting but drink lean and being high all the time ain't it"Mora stopped the car
"Look where we at"She said then got out the car
"I didn't ask to come here"king said
"I know but we all know this is what y'all need"She opened the trunk and they stood there
"Grab the stuff and go talk to y'all pops I'll be here"She said
"Can you come"King asked her and she nodded then they started walking to their pops grave
"Look how they do you"King said referring to his pops headstone
Mora threw out the old flowers replacing it with the new ones as king and Eli clean his stone
"I was dreading to do this because this shit still don't feel right see you in the ground"King said as they all sat down
"This shit not fair man" King held his head done and mora hugged him
"I wish I had more time with you when you was here. Finding out I was your son hurts because I know I can't have a bond with you and grave visits is as close as I'm getting"Eli spoke up
"I know you looking down like what the fuck are my sons doing I know you disappointed in us for taking the same route you did. I promise imma get us out of this before its to late and make you proud"King said
Then it was silent when mora looked up both boys was looking at their pops headstones with tears streaming down their faces. So she felt the need to step in
"Hi Mr.Bennett I'm Paris but I go by Mora and I'm king girlfriend and Eli bestfriend and your boys have been nothing but good to me. King talks about you a lot to Eli and I. King told me you are big on family so I know you not disappointed in your sons about what they do as long as they do right by each other and don't let the game break that from them. As long as they're trying to find a way out " She said then wind started blowing hard
"He's agreeing with me"She said and they started laughing at her
"Mr.Bennett could you also agree with me on them being a pain in a ass, hardheaded , mean , very very very childish" She said as they both mushed her head
"You a clown bro "King chuckled
"No bullshit"Eli agreed
"Nahh but I appreciate you doing this for us I feel a little bit better"King kissed her

"And I'm sorry for earlier"He said

"Y'all wanna stay a little longer"She asked and the both nodded as they laid their heads on her shoulder

"Not to ruin the mood or anything but Eli are you going to let us help stop drinking"Mora asked
"Yea but just go easy on me"Eli said and they both looked at king

"Because we know how you is"She said. They both laid their heads back on her
"Is this the part where I say "y'all are my boys"She smiled
"No keep that corny shit to yourself"Eli said
"You see how they talk to me Mr.Bennett ask god to strike them with lightning for me"She folded her arms
"Nahh pops would have like her"King said and Eli agreed
"Tell us more stories king"Mora said
They spent the rest of the day laughing, talking and telling stories at they pops grave
