Shah Zain's POV (Edited)
After the breakfast, I decided to skip the dining area. I walked outside the house and made my way towards the garden. It was calm and no one was in sight. The cool breeze was relaxing my chaotic mind and I was finally able to breath properly.
Throughout the breakfast, dado kept finding ways to mingle me in small talks regarding Shiza. But all I could do was simply nod. I don't know why she can't understand that it was not my will to marry her. She is acting like she made a right decision by marrying me to her.
She doesn't care whether if I'm happy or not. She just wants me to follow her all decisions. Mama was also barely controlling herself. I was still standing in the garden when I heard timid footsteps. I didn't dare to turn afraid if it was Shiza. I don't want to face her right now.
But my assumption was wrong as it was Zarnish who came. I immediately looked at her but didn't say anything. She also remained quite and kept looking ahead of me. I also once again turned to the front. She needs time and I will give her as much as time she wants. She exhaled heavily before asking
"How's your night?"
I chuckled dryly and answered
"Not the way I had wished for it."
She didn't say anything but I didn't fail to notice the stiffness that enveloped her muscles after my response. She sighed and said still looking ahead
"I know."
Her small responses were making me agitated. She is acting like it's not a big deal. Like she didn't ever want to marry me. I was losing my calm. She needs to answer me now. So, I fully turned to her and said
"Are you even listening to yourself? You are acting all calm like me marrying someone else doesn't even matter to you?"
She closed her eyes and tried to remain calm. But I was done with her silence. I need answers. Why did she remain silent? I ran my hands in my hairs before asking her
"Why did you not tell dado about our liking towards each other?"
She didn't say anything. She was quite and kept looking ahead. It's like she's deaf. I took long breaths to calm myself down. She should atleast look at me. I once again tried
"C'mon, Zarnish. Don't be quiet. Tell me why did you not say anything?"
This time she turned to me and said
"You won't understand, Shah Zain."
I clicked my tongue in annoyance. What is she even saying? Why the hell I won't understand? I tired to reasoned her
"What I can't understand? Please do tell me."
Zarnish shook her head and said
"Please Shah Zain, don't force me. I don't want to talk right now."
She turned back and started making her way inside the Haveli. I then said
"Zarnish, don't you want to marry me? Didn't you like me? Does my marriage with Shiza not bother you?"
My voice was laced with agitation and desperation. She needs to answer that one particular question. She couldn't be silent on it. She looked straight into my eyes. Her eyes turning glossy and I hated that. She sniffled and answered before making her way inside
"No matter what you think but remember one thing, I hate that girl to the core and I will forever hate her for snatching you from me."
I stood there on my spot worried and tongue tied. What is this happening?...

Shiza's POV
I was currently sitting in Bisma's room. After the breakfast, I came here to meet khala and her. I missed them already. The door opened and Khala entered inside. She passed me a smile and I returned her smile with the same gratitude.
She took a seat beside me and ran her frail hands on my hairs tenderly. I smiled in her direction. But I frowned when I noticed the dark circles and swelling under her eyes. I touched it lightly with my fingers and asked her worriedly
"What happened, khala? Why are your eyes swollen?"
She smiled sensing my concern before saying
"Don't worry, beta. I couldn't sleep properly last night."
I sighed in concern. She needs to take care of herself. How will she do without me? I held her hands in my grip and tried to explain her
"Khala, please take care of yourself. I don't want you to fall sick."
She chuckled and assured me
"Don't worry. When I had such a caring and loving daughter than I don't fear anything."
I smiled hearing her sweet words for me but still she needs to proper take care of herself. So I asked her
"Promise me, khala. You will take great care of yourself. Please do take your medicines on time and don't ever skip dinner."
She nodded her head and patted my head before saying
"Yes, my dear. Rest assured. Also, Bisma will be there for me. You should not worry about my anymore. You have a home now. You have responsibilities here."
My mood went sour. Only if you know, khala. But I chose to remain silent. I don't want to worry her. But I did make clear that
"No matter what, you are my khala and no one can stop me from worrying for you and Bisma. You both are my only family."
"She is saying absolutely right, Ammi. We are her only family and it's her duty to worry for us."
Bisma's playful voice pulled us out of our khala-niece talk. She smiled in my direction before enveloping me in a hug. She rocked us back and forth before muttering sadly
"I'm gonna miss you. Who will make delicious dishes for me."
She pouted and I couldn't help but laugh. She knew how to cheer up someone. So I stated
"Don't worry, whenever you want to eat something, just give me a call and I will come and make it for you."
She squealed in happiness but khala stated
"Bisma now your sister is married. She has other responsibilities too. Don't you dare ask her to come on such silly things."
Bisma frowned before she again smiled and said teasingly
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Shah Zain bhai would miss her then."
Oh Bisma, he would be the happiest person if I leave this house. I felt guilty for lying to them. For not telling them the real truth but I had promised Shehnaz Ammi. Khala's voice pulled me out of my thoughts
"Shiza beta, you should rest. At night, you have to be fresh for your reception."
I nodded my head and exited the room not before hugging them. Ya Allah! Let this day passed without any problem...

Right now, I was sitting infront of the mirror getting dolled up for my Valima. It still felt unreal. I can't believe I got married yesterday and now I was getting ready for my Valima already. This new turn in my life has me gaping.
Everything is happening so fast that it's getting uncontrollable. The makeup artists did their magic as always. They brought out the best of me. As it was Valima day and reception day is always a little subtle so my makeup was also kept light.
My dress was a pale powder blue color with beautiful golden work on it. The duppata was my most favorite. But no matter how much I gush over the dress, I still can't able to eliminate the nagging feeling that how much would it have cost Shehnaz Ammi to bought? I mean it screamed richness. The intricate work and the plush cloth was evidence of it's richness.
I shouldn't take so much of their gratitude than I already have. My hairs were now being giving final touches. I asked them to keep the hairstyle easy and light. So, for today my hairs were soft curls and open resting on my back and left shoulder.
My eyes were shimmery with nude pink lips. I wore beautiful yet light jewelry to go out with my outfit. My golden heels were almost hidden. I was finally all ready. I stood up to check myself in the mirror. I looked once again beautiful beyond imagination. I never thought that I could look this good with bridal makeup.

I was still admiring myself in the mirror when the door to my room knocked. The door slowly opened and entered Bisma. She looked regal in her royal blue attire with golden strips designs all over it. Her hairs were straight and kept on her shoulders.
Her makeup was soft while lips were painted in pink color. She looked so beautiful. She smiled in my direction and stated
"You've done up really well, appi."
I smiled and told her
"You didn't also fail to look good today."
Bisma smiled and twirled around to show me the dress more properly.

She took a deep breath before saying
"Appi, I still can't believe that you got married and that even to such a handsome guy on this planet."
Her humor always made me laugh but today is the exception. My mood always dampen whenever anyone mention Shah Zain. The conversations of him remind me of how I was practically forced upon him. Bisma snapped her fingers at me before asking me
"Where did you get lost to? Were you thinking about Shah Zain bhai?"
Her voice held a tinge of tease. I tried not to get affected but it's quiet impossible. Bisma then told me
"C'mon, let's take you down. Shah Zain bhai must be waiting for you."
I nodded my head and took deep breaths to calm myself down.

Author's POV
All the girls were ready. They were dressed in beautiful and expensive dresses. Their makeup was on point and their hairs were kept light same as the bride. Kinza was dressed in a beautiful grey colored short kurti with silver work all over it. Her hairs were curled at the end and pinned up at her back. Her eyes were kept bright while her lips were painted in nude color. Overall, she took the breath away.
(Kinza's Dress)
On the other hand, Nimra glammed up pretty beautifully. She was wearing a pink peplum dress with same colored palazzo pants. Her hairs were straight and were tied in a low ponytail. Her eyes were kept golden while her lips were shimmery pink. She looked such a beauty in her overall attire.
(Nimra's Dress)
Zarnish on the other hand, was wearing a beautiful pink and silver colored shrug with same colored pants. Her hairs were sleek straight and rested entirely on her back. She was wearing silver colored heels with same colored bracelet in her wrists. She looked admirable in her overall attire.
(Zarnish's Dress)
Shah Zain was standing outside the Haveli. He was dressed in a sober grey colored tuxedo. His hairs were perfectly gelled back. He was wearing his favorite Rolex watch. Aaban and Salar were leaning on the car bonnet. They were clad in ivory colored tuxedos. The elders had already left for the venue.
Aaban and Salar were going to take the girls to the venue while Shah Zain will take Shiza to the venue himself. Shehnaz decided that too. Soon, the girls came out of the Haveli. Zarnish avoided making eye contact with Shah Zain. He also tried not to look at her. The girls settled inside and Aaban told Shah Zain
"Bhai, we will be leaving now."
He only nodded in response. They left while he was still waiting for Shiza to come. Soon he heard the footsteps approaching and she came into his view. He almost forgot to breath. She looked so gorgeous. The pale powder blue dress complimented her wheat skin perfectly.
Her soft makeup was like cherry on top. She approached him with light steps. He immediately opened the passengers door not even glancing once at her. She felt a little heartbroken but she masked it completely and sat down inside the car. Shah Zain also took his respective seat.
He started off the engine and drove away to the venue. The whole ride they were white and no words were spoken between them. The tension was high in the air. He parked the car when they reached the venue. He stepped out and went to her side to open her gate.
As he opened the door, he extended his hand infront of her. She looked up at him in confirmation but he was looking ahead of her. She placed her hand in his big ones and stepped out. She adjusted her dress and straighten up. They both stood beside each other, his one hand resting on the small of her back while she was looking straight avoiding to eye contact with him. They both took equal steps to make their grand entry in the Reception.
