SHIVA'S POV
After conversing with mithu. My mind is totally occupied with the thoughts of how I'm gonna convince our parents to get us married. At the same time I don't want to involve mithu in this. I'm ready to face everything by myself.
I saw mithu's appa talking with my appa and some of the men of his age.
I went next to him. So that I can get his mindset.
"vanakkam uncle ".. I wished him like a good boy.
"shiva vaa unna pathithan pesitu irundom....romba nalla paiyan arul unnoda paiyan" mithu's appa praised me.

A smile formed on my lips hearing his expectations.

By hearing his words I gained some confidence that I can convince him. But i felt guilty because I have hurt her beyond a level. She cried because of me. Sorry mithu.....
I made up my mind for everything and waited to have some time to talk to him about this.
The day came to an end everyone started going home. My family already went back home long time back. I stayed here to converse with mithu's appa.

I went to my friends and told them about my plan.

I was looking at the kovil entrance I saw mithu' s appa going home alone. This is the right chance.

There was an awkward silence going on. We almost reached his home
I cleared my throat and started talking.
"uncle unkitta konjam pesanum" I said.
"sollu shiva" he said.

"sari OK" he said and went to his home. When we reached there. We saw everyone sitting in the veranda and conversing.
When they noticed me with mithu's appa.

I went with him. He went straight to the first floor of the home. There was a small couch. He sat on it and asked me to sit.
I sat facing him.
"sollu Shiva" he said.
"uncle naa suthivazhachu pesa virumbala. Enaku unga ponnu mithu va pudichiruku avazha love panren enaku unga ponna kalyanam panni tharuvingala" I said looking straight into his eyes. Yes I asked confidently .
"aprom" mithu's appa said. I took a deep breath and continued.

"Yen apdi" he asked.

"naa mudiyadunu sonna" he asked.
I smiled and said "neenga apdi solla matinga"
"adhu epdi nee solra" he asked.

He smiled which gave me a positive sign.
"nalla pesura shiva.." he said. I smiled.
"sari en ponna kalyanam PAnna ava London la irupa epdi possible" he asked.
"ungaluke teriyum mithu ku London vida avazhuku india thaa pudikum nu. So..." I said.
"en ponnu pathu ellam teriyuma " he asked.
"teriyum uncle. Mithu romba simple. London la vazhandalum enaikum andha mathiri nadaka mata. " I said with a smile on my face.
I looked at him. There was a smile on his face too...
" appa kitta pesitu solren" mithu's appa said.
"naanum Inga thaa iruken" Thatha said coming near us.
I got up seeing thatha here.
"appa ellam ketingala" mithu's appa asked.
"mmm ketan" Thatha said. Now I'm nervous I know I can convince mithu's appa but I'm not sure about Thatha.
"en pethiya Kadhalikuriya Shiva" he asked in that same tone he used to handle panchayat.
Namakum panchayath thaan pola...i thought.
"ama thatha" I replied confidently.
"mithu va kalyanam PAnna Aasa padran" mithu's appa said to thatha.
"enna shiva idellam" Thatha asked.
"Thatha mithu va pudichiruku avazha kalyanam pannanum aasa padren avakitta solra munnadi ungakitta solren" I lied.
"ketiya vignesh mithu kitta kooda sollama Namma kitta puzha kekuren. Epdi mithu va kalayanam panni kudupoma" Thatha asked.
But I sensed something different in their tone.
"Thatha naa edum thappu panitene yen oru mathiri pesuringa" I asked

"adhu vandu" before I could complete.
"Unga kulla problem edo iruku nu kooda teriyum" mithu's appa said. Which stopped my heart beat. I stayed silent to hear their words Instead of getting myself into problems.

"shiva" uncle called me.
"sollunga uncle" I replied.

"sari appo naa kezhambatuma" I asked.
"mmm poitu va" they said coming with me to the entrance.
I felt happy even tears started falling out of my eyes. I wiped it with a smile. I'm sorry mithu inimel un life LA unna kastham padutha maten Di. I will a good husband for you I promise.
All the way home I planned on how to reveal about my love to my parents.
The one who I thought would create tantrums gave me a green signal very easily but now I'm scared of my family.
I can convince them. For me for my mithu.
I reached my home. I saw my sisters and appa watching news. When they saw me appa continued watching TV but my sisters eyed the TV and rolled their eyes.
I laughed and went to my room. I took a quick shower and went down to have dinner.
I was quite nervous to open the topic.
Amma was serving us dinner. Everyone was having their dinner silently that when I break the silence my clearing my throat.
"shiva thanni venuma da" amma asked.

"ama pa" I replied.
We all had our dinner and we all settled in the hall.

I looked at them with a pleasing look.
"nijamada namma mithu VA. Aiyoo enaku mithu VA romba pudikum. Ava irundu veedu romba Kala Kala nu irukum" Amma said in an exited tone.
I smiled brightly hearing her words. I looked at appa for his response.
"dei Shiva idellam sariyah varuma. Engaluku prechana illa enga ellarukum mithu VA pudikum Ana avanga othupangala" appa asked.
"appa kavala padathinga mithu appa aprom Ava thatha kitta already pesiten ungala muraiyah vandu ponnu keka sonnanga" I said.
"appo ellam pesi mudichuta" appa asked with a smile.
I scratched my head and looked away.
"appa mithu engaluku Anni na engaluku double OK. Eppo ponnu paaka porom nanga Nathar la so questions la prepare pannanum" shruthi said.
"anandhi andha calendar eduthutu vaa" appa said. Amma took the calendar and gave it to appa. Appa looked at it for sometime.
"nalaiku marunaazh nalla iruku. Nalaiku mithu veetula ellarkittayum sollitu nalaiku marunaazh ponnu paaka polam" appa said.
"yeahh...dei Anna unaku Kalyanam da.." varshu and shruthi hugged their brother.
I smiled wholeheartedly after a long day.... You are gonna be mine mithu.
MITHUNA'S POV
I don't know what Shiva talked about but the moment Shiva left appa kept on looking at me with a questioning look adhe Neram thatha was also doing the same.
Ivan enna sonnanu terila. Edachum problem aagirukumo....
"Anjana, Amma Inga vangalen" appa called them.
I looked at Ryan..... And eyed him to help me with anything goes wrong. He opened and closed his eyes assuring me that he is with me.
"shiva eduku vandutu poran nu teriyuma mithu" appa asked.
"te-terila PA" I said.
"nee Shiva VA love panriya" appa asked.
What I'm gonna say now.
"appa......." I was hesitant to reply.
"say yes or no" appa said.
"ama pa" I said closing my eyes tightly preparing myself to accept whatever comes.
"appo sari PA mithu kum pudichirukam so kalyanam panni vachurulam" appa said. I opened my eyes and looked at him shocked.
"I know you love him. I have seen your pictures In Your laptop" appa said.
"and mithu ma enakum teriyum. Actually enga ellarukum teriyum. Oor thiruvizha mudinju pesalam nu irundom adukulla Shiva ve vandu pesitan" appa said with a smile.
I sat beside him and asked. "appa en mela kovam eduvum illiye"
"eduku" he asked ruffling my hair.
"love pannaduku" I said.
"naanum love marriage nu maranduriye mithu.... How can I go against love marriage" he said.
"thank you so much appa" I Thanked him.
"sari nalaiku kovil la vachu ellam pesalam. Nalla kaariyam kovil LA vachu arambikatum " thatha said.
Paati came to me and kissed me on my forehead. "enga kutty mithu ku kalyanam"
Paati had tears in her eyes.
"eduku vaidehi azhura" thatha asked.
"sandhoshama irukunga namma pethi kalyanam paaka porom la" paati said.
"sari poi thoongunga nalaiku kovil poi pesalam" thatha said.
"jalebi seems like you gonna get married" Ryan said.
"I guess so. Did I take the right decision" I asked.
"what do you feel about your decision" Ryan asked.
"neutral " I said.
"stop straining this little brain of you *knocking on my forehead * and sleep. You need beautiful sleep to look beautiful" he pushed my shoulders forward taking me to my room.
"good night. You have taken the right decision. He loves you and he will never hurt you" Ryan said. I smiled happily, hearing it.
"I hope so. BTW see you tomorrow. Goodnight" I said.
"good night" he replied.
I lied on my bed but I don't when I dozed off.
Next day
My day started fresh. I took shower and went down wearing a half saree.
"enna kalayanam ponnu" thatha teased me.
"Thatha" I whined and hugged him.
"po poi saptu kezhambu. Inaiku unga kalayanam pathi pesa porom" Thatha said like a secret.
"aduthaan nethe solitingale" I said in the same whispering tone.
"ippo thaa enga pazhaya mithu patha mathiri iruku" Thatha said.
I smile wiped off from my face when thatha left the place. I went to the kitchen. I saw Amma and paati transferring the food they prepared into the hotbox.
I sat on the kitchen counter and asked for a coffee.
Amma handed me the coffee and I started having it.
"mithu ma nalaila irundu early ah enduruchu kitchen vaa nanga samaika solli tharom. Aprom kalyanam aprom cooking teriyadu nu solla kudathu yaarkittayum" amma said.
"mmm sari ma" I replied.
We all had our breakfast and went to the temple. My palms were sweaty, thinking about what would happen in the temple.
Kadavule please tell me whether I have taken the right decision ......I prayed silently.
When I reached the temple the first thing my eyes searched for was Shiva but he was nowhere to be found.
My heart started beating faster than usual..... Did he fool me again.... My mind started thinking about all the possible negative outcomes.
Amma, paati, thatha and appa all started doing their routine work even Ryan and Rachel joined them I was left alone.
"amma naa ippo varen" I said and walked around to see if Shiva was anywhere. I want to ask him something. I don't want to get fooled again. I don't want to get hurt again at the same time I'm not ready to marry anyone else.
When I couldn't find him I went to the same spot where we meet secretly.
I just stepped on that path. A hand pulled me and pinned me against the wall. It all happened in a fraction of a second. I opened my eyes which I closed in fear.
"shiva" my mouth involuntarily said his name.
"romba nerama yaara teditu irunda" he asked in his deep husky voice. Mithu voice la kavunduratha....
"yaarayum thedaliye" I said turning my face to the side.
"indha nose Pin innume enna tempt pannudu Di" he said and kissed me on my nose pin.
I looked at him shocked by his action. he had a teasing smile on his lips.
We heard someone clearing their throat. We both turned to the source of voice.
We got shocked seeing our family there.
"konjam Vilagi ninna nalla irukum nanga unga family" shruthi said making us realize our position.
"sorry mama pesalam nu vandom" shiva lied.
"pathom shiva." appa said muffling his smile.
"mithu variya illa" amma asked with a teasing smile.
"varen ma" I ran to Amma and stood there hanging my head low.
"seekram vanga kovil la poi kalyanam pathil pesalam. Inimel thamadikuradu nalladu illanu thonudu" arulmozhi Mama said.
I went with my family but I turned and looked at Shiva who was standing there looking at us.
He has a smile on his face. But I'm confused whether I should believe him or not. I looked at him with a blank expression and walked away with my Amma inside the temple.
