"Lizzie!" the little one runs to hug her, Lizzie takes him in her arms and the two rub their noses both laughing.

Lizzie and i look at each other and smile.
"Hey little one, we got something for you" Lizzie says putting him down and going to get the pack to drag it towards Julian.
"It's a gift?" he questions surprised
"Yes little bear, we're sorry we didn't give it to you for Christmas but we hope you'll forgive us with this" i explain.
Julian unpacks his gift and seeing his eyes light up as soon as he understands what we gave him fills my heart with joy.
I know how much he likes to ride with me so we decided to give him a motorcycle for kids.
"So you like it?" i ask curious
"Yes, i love it!" he runs to hug us and we both pick him up.
"I love you so much" says the little one
"We do too honey" Lizzie replies giving him a kiss in his hair
"Oh i think Lizzie wants to give you one more thing" i say and the little one looks at Lizzie curiously
"Oh yeah, well you told me your favorite superhero is Captain America right?" Lizzie asks and the little one nods
"Even if you're more powerful" he points out making Lizzie smile
"Well he gave me something for you" she says
handing him the bag, he opens it to find a Captain America shield autographed by Chris Evans.
"I'm so happy now! You are the best in the world" he says happily.
"You deserve it honey, you're our little hero" Lizzie says.
"When we get back, i'll teach you how to ride the bike, okay?" I tell him and he nods
"Come on, run and show your mum the gifts" Lizzie hugs him and i do the same.
We say goodbye to him and Tessa who thanks us and then go back to my apartment.
"Ready babe?" She asks hugging me from behind
"You won't tell me where we're going right?" i ask her
"You'll find out soon" she whispers, teasing the hollow of my shoulder
"Not so soon if you continue like this" i point out and feel her chuckle against my skin
"You're right, better go or i'll end up fucking you" she says slapping my ass

"Anyway, i missed coming here" she says referring to my apartment and kissing my head.
She walks to the door and i look at her smiling like a fool.

Throughout the car ride, i do nothing but look at her.
The way she sits, her focused gaze, the way she bites her lip and looks out the window at the red light, the way she holds the steering wheel...god i wish those hands were on me in this moment.

"Here's when we went last time it didn't go very well, i promised myself that i wanted to spend time with you and above all i promised you that we would rebuild some beautiful memories for that city, but i wasn't good at keeping those promises and- here i wanted to fix it.
Finally we will be alone, no obstacles, a room of our own, a romantic dinner with the hope of starting a different new year and most important, together.

We walk towards the airport but i notice that we don't go through the main entrance.
