Darla was born a bastard on the Streets of Silk. Raised in one of the many brothels that populated the street, Darla grew up surrounded by whores that called the cramped building home and the men they entertained. There she served drinks to the nobles and commonborn men, ignoring the heady gazes they leveled at her young body.
On the eve of her fourteenth birthday, her mother sent her to work in the Red Keep and live in the servant's quarters underneath the castle. The whore only wishing for her daughter to escape the lusts of men and escape from the life she was destined for.
Though within the grand halls of the Red Keep, frustrated with his lack of heir, Viserys met the young teen's dark brown gaze as she filled his cup. His gaze fell from hers, sweeping over the alabaster skin exposed by the neckline of her servants uniform. He began asking for her, actively seeking her out before he finally promoted her to his personal attendant.
With the young dark-haired beauty near him at all times Viserys became brave, calling for her earlier and forcing her to stay later into the night. If asked the King would say he was the first to make a move, that he was so entranced by the young girl he had invited her into his bed and forsook his wife. Only visiting the Queen in his pursuit for a son.
But if one was to question Darla they would believe otherwise, seeing the ghost of a smirk and a knowing look gleaming in her eyes.
