Ryu: it would be better if I had an idea of what to find but if I know one thing the place where the impossible can be found are the strong magic regions
Ryu finds a massive forest
Ryu: so this is the strong magic region that is outside the clover kingdom it's not as rough as the underwater temple there's a high chance this is one of the more tame but I'd rather not go to a volcano right now and the witches forest is way too far away and I don't have that long
The moment Ryu entered the forest
He encountered something big and very angry
Ryu: Holy crap this thing is a beast this'll be interesting
Ryu unsheathes his sword and slices right at the beasts let's but not only does it not cut through the beast is almost instantly regenerated
Ryu: this might be perfect if this thing has an insane level of regeneration then it's meat might help heal asta
Ryu: time to show this beast whose the boss
Ryu coats his sword with power
Ryu cuts this thing over and over again but it only works slightly better than before
The beast gets annoyed and smacks Ryu send him flying into a tree
Ryu: argh that really hurt
Ryu got back up
The two clash for what seems like hours
Ryu is hardly able to injure the beast while the tiger isn't able to keep Ryu down
Ryu is now injured and exhausted
Ryu: I stood my ground against a beast recently so this can't be all I can do

Ryu: So I'm not going to let a furball like you beat me
Ryu charges up an attack that looks similar to his ultimate move but it's going through his sword
The beast noticing this growls and jumps right at Ryu but in that instant a dark fire emerges from ryu's sword
Creating the new spell
Ryu: DEMONIC DARK MAGIC DARK SWORD OF DESTRUCTION
The beast is cut again and again until finally the battle is over the beast falls to the ground dead
Ryu stands over the defeated beast deactivating his move
Ryu falls to one knew exhausted but smirking: looks like I won you stupid furball now my magic is drained it's time to absorb the power of this place into me I will become stronger if asta is better when I return then that doesn't matter i will gain more strength so what happened to him will never happen again
Ryu slices up the bests into chunks and the places them inside of his pack
This pack is much bigger than it looks and if your wondering about the good going rotten it also slows down the time of everything in there though this does not work on living things
Ryu: this food will hopefully help asta but right now I need to be a little bit selfish although I imagine another one of my comrades has taken asta to get his arms fixed
Ryu allows his magic to flow through him and it covers him
Ryu: I didn't realise how much the intense magic of this place was affecting me o wonder I'm slower I fought against vetto I shouldn't of got exhausted so easily this place is difficult but my magic makes it better
But seriously that beast took a seriously powerful attack to take it down and it costed me almost my entire magic supply luckily this place allows me to absorb magic as quick as I lose it so I'm able to keep the barrier up for as long as I want (basically the covering takes a good amount of magic too keep up but with him absorbing magic from the region he's gainful it as fast as the barrier takes it)
Ryu puts his cloak back on and continues travelling eventually finding several more beasts

Ryu: THE STRONGER THE BEAST THE MORE POWERFUL I WILL BECOME
Ryu charges right at the beasts and through grit and determination he fights both of them
Using
Ryu: it seems this darkness sword is a lot easier to control than that dragon
The spider wraps him up just as the bear attacks him
Ryu: dark magic, shadow wave
This power pushes away both beasts
He ignites his dark sword one more time
Ryu: DEMONIC DARK MAGIC DEMOIC DIVIDER
This tears them both to shreds
Ryu finishes the battle by devouring a little bit of the beasts flooding his body with power and funnily enough healing every injury he got in the battles
Ryu: Looks like I found power inside this place and this will help heal asta
Ryu puts his cloak over his head and smiles
Ryu: I'm going home now to lend my findings too my friend and return much stronger than I was
