It was Y/N's last day of detention with Umbridge.
He was sitting there, as usual, carving those goddamn words on his hand, as she took a sip of her EXTREMELY sweet tea.
Y/N: Why can't you just choke on your own spit?
He kept thinking, cursing her, as he forced himself not to cry, as his hand hurt like hell.
It was around Midnight, when she finally got up. She roughly grabbed his hand, making him flinch.
She examined it for a few seconds.
Pain suddenly shot through Y/N's scar.
She smiled mischievously.
Umbridge: Very well, Mr Potter. It seems that the message has finally sunken in. As for tonight, your detention is over.
She said.
Y/N just nodded, massaging his scar.
Y/N: Can I leave?
He asked.
Umbridge: Of course.
She said, dismissing him.
He left the room as quickly as possible.
Then, he stood against the door, his mind running wild.
Y/N: What was that, just now? She can't possibly be a Death Eater... Right?
He thought.
But he decided to put those thoughts aside, for the time being.
He took his Wand, and pointed it at his own hand.
Y/N: Restitutio Maxima!
He said, as his hand slowly (really slowly) started to heal.
He conjured some bandages, and wrapped them around his hand.
He then headed to the Common Room, where he found Harry, Ron and Hermione, all gathered around the fireplace.
Snowball sprinted towards him, purring loudly.
Y/N: Aww, I've missed you too.
He said, picking her up.
He looked at the other three.
Y/N: Why are you three still awake? It's really late.
He said, as he grabbed his potions essay, so he could finish it.
Hermione: We just talked with Sirius.
She said.
Y/N: Really? How's he doing?
He asked, not raising his eyes from the parchment in front of him.
Harry: He's really bored. And told us something particularly relevant about Fudge.
He said.
This time, Y/N raised his eyes, looking at them all.
Y/N: What did he tell you?
He asked.
They all looked at each other.
Hermione: Apparently... He wants to extend the Ministry's control over the School.
She said.
Y/N looked at them.
Y/N: And why would he even want to do that?
He asked.
Harry: Because he thinks Dumbledore is using the students to create an army, so he can take over the Ministry.
He said.
Y/N sighed.
Y/N: Man, he really has gone nuts. I always knew he was an idiot, but seriously? He's obsessed with Dumbledore, maybe even more than Voldemort.
He said.
Ron: I told you he'd say that.
He said, smirking.
Y/N: Well... It's not like it can get any worse than this, right?
