Nightmare

Colby's pov
I was woken up by y/n tossing and turning in bed she then started to sweat. It took me a moment to realize what was happening,she was having a nightmare. She then shot up and started screaming I quickly got up and held her I didn't know why she was having a nightmare nothing has happened that I know of.
The nightmare
I was at home with my abusive dad and my mom before she died. I just got back from school and I heard my dad shouting at my mom and her shouting back. I ignored it and went to my room but it wasn't long till my dad came storming in hitting me it was different this time,he made me go unconscious I woke up and saw that there was blood everywhere. I went downstairs but when I made it to the living room I heard a gunshot.I rushed over to where I heard it and my mom and my sister where laying there lifeless that's when I woke up.

I started crying on Colby's chest and sat there till I fell asleep I haven't had any more nightmares.
Colby's pov
She finally fell asleep again I didn't go back to sleep she didn't tell me what the nightmare was about but I know it wasn't good. I stayed up the whole night with her to make sure nothing bad happened
