As time went on, Ahmed and Jean-Pierre's bond continued to grow stronger. They shared everything with each other, from their hopes and dreams to their fears and regrets. But as close as they were, there were still moments when their cultural differences caused conflicts.

"I'm sorry, Ahmed," he said apologetically. "It's just not to my taste."

He missed the food of his homeland and sometimes found it difficult to adjust to the French diet that Jean-Pierre preferred.
Similarly, Jean-Pierre sometimes found it difficult to understand Ahmed's customs and way of life. Ahmed was a devout Muslim, and he prayed several times a day. Jean-Pierre had never been particularly religious, and he sometimes found it awkward when Ahmed would stop to pray in the middle of their conversations.
Despite these occasional cultural conflicts, Jean-Pierre and Ahmed remained close friends. They learned to appreciate each other's differences and to embrace the diversity that made their friendship so special. Through it all, they knew that they could count on each other, no matter what.
