Graduation ceremony in London:
Auditorium hall is filled with that academic year (1999) barristry students . Everyone are murmuring among themselves that no doubt this year gold medalist is that Indian student Anirudh only.
Soon the graduation ceremony started vice chancellor had given motivational speech and everyone are given their certificates and finally they announced that year best student University topper gold medalist is none other than Barrister Anirudh Roy Chowdhary and he is called to dias..
He came on to stage proudly and took award gold medal and barristry cap from the vice chancellor
While getting adorned by gold medal he remembered his maternal great grandfather Veeresam - a freedom fighter inspiring words in childhood (his pedda Tatayya) his Pedanaana (Trilochan kaka), his lady love Mini with slight tears and took it proudly and carressed his certificate for a second . Finally he succeeded and achieved what he wanted to become.
(Author's explanation: Anirudh's maternal great grandfather means Trilochan Vinayak mother's father (Nana ji). In 1980-90s period old generation people lived more than 90 years and had seen their great grandchildren growth also.)
He then gave a stunning speech about the role of lawyer in society and announced that soon he will return to his India and use his knowledge, talent in favour to their country and screamed: BHARAT MATA KI JAI
Some of the Indian students took his words proudly and some of them so easily some foreign students frowned inside for not praising their country (British) and retorted that when he is so bound to his own country why did he come here and did law course. But Anirudh didn't bother about their comments and got down. He know the reason well.
One of the British student who is his opponent and competitor in his batch had made fun of him on his face that he is still behaving in such a way that their country is still in our clutches. Others laughed.
Another britisher passed remark: wake up Anirudh we gave you independence long back ago and everyone bursted into laughter
Anirudh went and caught hold of both of their collars and said : Independence is our right ..it is not alms we begged you for..
Another student commented : Hey wake up Anirudh now Indian youth are only wanted to go and settle in foreign countries ..and you .. despite of studying here and also getting best opportunities to work here and earn money you still wants to go back to India. What is there now in India?
Anirudh said : My life ..my family..
my roots...my future ..is there..
One of the Indian faculty came there and controlled the situation and asked Anirudh to let them go don't get into rifts and wished him good luck.
He opened his wallet and spoke with Mini photo lovingly : Mini you have fought with me and discouraged me na that law course doesn't hold any demand now only technology courses have life. You are also highly upset with me na that I don't care about you and your feelings.
But see Today I have achieved gold medal in law course. I have also learnt technology courses here along with law course and earned money while studying. I have balanced my ambition and your expectations both
Also worked day and night for both of us , Mini to fulfill your dreams desires . After we meet you will understand my love my hardwork and Every misunderstanding and difference of opinions will be sorted out sweet heart
He then went to jewellery shop and purchased a diamond ring for her and imagined himself making her wear it and then said : As soon as I reach you I will sit on my knees and propose you and marry you soon.
He kissed her photo and said : I love you Mini..I love you..so much and is dreaming about her by gazing at ring
He then looked over time. Uk timings are 5 hours earlier than USA. She might have reached to her flat as she is staying with her friends in flat near to her campus . He immediately took his cell phone and made a call to her but she is not responding. He tried and tried and kept a voice message with exciting voice about his success and told that he will come to America to meet her soon and let's celebrate our millenium new year party together. He had lot of surprises for her and she will be thrilled.

I love you my sweetheart..I love you so much - These words are told by chandu to Mini . He proposed her for marriage in star hotel in California

Mini is extremely delighted and hugged him and she too proposed him back I love you too Chandu let's get married soon. He too reciprocated the hug and said Thankyou Baby thank you so much.
He then smirked inside that today he had snatched the most precious person from his enemy's - his step brother's life . The day he see Anirudh's defeated face he will get solace and his revenge will be fulfilled.
She asked him that let's get married in new millennium January 1st here only in America. Her dad will come here and vinayak uncle will also love to get us married here only. I don't want to go back to India and face all the traditions there. They are so boring and time taking Rituals
Before he answer her his mobile had rang. He smiled and lifted the phone telling that his grandpa (nanaji) had called. One second. I will talk to him and convince him about our marriage
She said ; yeah sure chandu. Go and talk to him .
Chandu Went aside . His maternal grandfather Jagannath is speaking from India.
Chandu is telling excitingly: Tatayya (Grandpa) success! Grand success! My love had become super success Tatayya . Mini had agreed to marry me. Bless me from there only . Soon we want to get married
Jagannath: my blessings are always with you my dear. But do you also want to send blessings to your marriage through phone only. Won't you come and get Married here . This old man had only dream now I wanted to see your marriage.
Chandu said : Tatayya! There..!? To India? No it's boring...Why don't you come here so that I and mini get married in your presence . I have bought a huge villa recently. I will book tickets and make all arrangements as per your comfort
Jagannath: No nanna ! You know that your Tatayya had arthritis problem. I can't travel for one complete day and come there. There extreme cold and snow fall will be there in upcoming winter. Jagannath addressed his grandson Nanna which actual meaning is father but here elders some time address their boys children baba and girl children maa na. Similarly here Jagannath is also addressing chandu Nanna out of affection.
Jagannath here is addressing Mini as his granddaughter. As she is going to marry his grandson so she will become granddaughter by relation to him.)
Chandu interrupted and said: yes Tatayya. After habituating to US climate and life style I can't come there and get married.
Jagannath laughed and said : Do you think I will make you and Mini face the heat? No nanna. I am going to arrange your wedding in one of the best hotel in city . Throughout the day you will be in central air conditioning only.
Chandu: But Tataya in Marriage as per ritual there will be fire offerings yagnam and it will be prolonged one
Here mini at one side she is eavesdropping to chandu and his Grandpa conversation and other side she is checking her messages. Whereas chandu is busy in his talks. At that time she listened Anirudh's message that he is going to come for new year millennium celebrations to US and got worried. And suddenly something striked her mind. She decided to put her cooked up story infront of chandu and his grandpa and win their sympathy
She immediately went and took phone from chandu hands and she started speaking:
Namaste Tatagaru (Tata - Nanaji or dadaji garu means ji formal addressing to elders in Telugu) how are you
Jagannath is so impressed and said : I am fine how are you? Being a girl you went to studies for America. Hope everything is fine na
Mini started her sugar coating words: with your blessings I am absolutely fine. Doing well in studies. Your grandson is really helping me in my academic project and he had proposed me for marriage. But I want to know your opinion first Tata garu. Because for me elders consent and blessings are most important
Chandu rolled his eyes and shooked his head thinking how smart is this Mini. This smart girl should only belong to me not to that fellow
There on the other side Jagannath is so impressed that his grandson is getting a well mannered discipline girl in his life . So he gave consent to her telling that I am so happy that you are going to become wife to my grandson
Mini : But there is a problem Tata garu
Jagannath from other side and chandu here had furrowed their eyebrows and waiting for her to speak.
She said : You know Anirudh na. Chandu step brother..!?
Jagannath with serious expression: Haa..how can I forget him? After his birth my son was abandoned of Father's love also.
Mini: My daddy had unknowingly I mean without knowing my interest had given word to Anirudh and Vinayak uncle in my childhood that I will become wife to him but I swear Tata garu I really had no interest on him and you know na he doesn't have a single good quality like chandu . He is nowhere comparable to our Chandu..
Jagannath gritted his teeth remembering Anirudh and said : Ofcourse Soudamini he doesn't have any one good quality. He is no where comparable to my grandson.
Mini: Tata garu! I heard from sampoorna aunty that despite of studying in foreign country he had taken on that village man Trilochan uncle and had similar character like him. He may come and create ruckus on our marriage and blame me. But you will stand my side only na Tatagaru.
Jagannath out of hatred on Anirudh and Trilochan gave assurance that his blessings are always with her
Mini is in cloud nine and said: We both will come and get married in India as per your request and first take your blessings only . You will bless us right?
Jagannath agreed and gave his assurance and support. She then raised doubt that if Vinayak uncle agree or not.
Jagannath: My son in law is puppet in my hands. Half of his earned property is given by me. I will make him agree to both of your Marriage and disconnected the phone.
Out of joy she embraced chandu. He asked her why this plan of change. She said that Anirudh wants to come here to USA and celebrate New year with me. By the time he reach here we should be in our marriage rituals there in Hyderabad. He should not know that we are going to get married
Chandu also thought and discussed a plan and told that lets manipulate everyone and that Anirudh also. No one should know the truth until our marriage happens . You do one thing and gave her an idea. She agreed happily thinking that it's fun to cheat Anirudh and get Married to Chandu

Anirudh had waited waited and waited for Mini call but she didn't call him back. He sighed and then made call to his Pedanaana (Trilochan kaka) in Vizag landline number.
In Vizag it's morning time. Kalindi had done puja and gave arti. Trilochan and their children shekhar and Bhargav whose pet name is Bunty ( they are our Somnath and Bhatuk) took arti
By listening long ring everyone faces are delighted as it's ISD call and none other than Anirudh is calling them
Bhargav ran to the landline phone and lifted and said adjusting his voice : Hello I am Trilochan speaking here
Trilochan and Kalindi are looking at him with (pretending) serious expression but are having fun inside.
Anirudh on the other side: Bunty ! You didn't reach the age to imitate Pedanaana. (ఏరా బంటి! నీకు పెదనాన్న ని అనుకరించే వయసు రాలేదు రా)
Bunty smiled and said : Annaya (daada or bhaiyaa) ! How are you?
Anirudh: Fine ..how about you
Bunty or bhargav: I am a king here
Shekhar came and grabbed the receiver and he too spoke lovingly with his elder brother . Bunti again took and kept on telling about his greatness in phone
Trilochan came from back and hitted slightly on his head and Bunty bite his tongue. Trilochan took phone and asked him emotionally : Anirudh How are you naanna
Anirudh: I am absolutely fine Pedanaana. I have achieved gold medal In barristry course and also best student award.
Trilochan happiness had no limits. He looked at his grandfather photo and spoke to him in mind : like you your great grandson also became a barrister.
He also told the same thing to kalindi
Anirudh: yes Pedanaana. Give to Peddamma (kaki or Taiji) once
Kalindi also eagerly took the receiver and spoke lovingly with him blessed him in phone and asked when are you coming back to India.
He told that he will come in January.
She asked why this much delay. Your exams are completed na.
Anirudh: Peddamma! I want to meet Mini once and will start to India .
Kalindi smile is dropped but didn't reflect it in her voice. She said with forced smile : Ok Anirudh take care. By the way call to Arvind Mavayya once . He will also be elated to learn this. You know na last year he became high court judge.
Anirudh: yes Peddamma after pedda Tatayya arvind Mavayya is my inspiration to study barristry. I will definitely make a call to him and speak. By the way sumati attaya won't feel bad na.. she doesn't like me.
Kalindi also know this. She assured that : No problem it is Sumati's nature. She will also be affectionate to you once she learns about your qualities. Take down the number and she gave Arvind house number and then disconnected the phone

A 12 years chirpy girl who dressed up in school uniform came there drinking milk in coffee mug and lifted the phone
And said : Hello .
Anirudh grasped who lifted the phone. He controlled his smile and said : Good morning Bournvita...how are you
Bondita grasped who is on the other side and she kept her milk aside and said : It's not Bournvita...it's Bondita

Anirudh: Got Angry!?
She nodded : hmm (as agreeing with puffed cheeks)
He asked : won't you talk to me
She shooked her head and said : uhu .
He asked : If I promise that I will bring foreign chocolates then also you won't talk to me.
She left her puffed cheeks and asked : Really ..
He said: Really
She smiled and said : ok I will talk but don't call me with bournvita name. I am really grown up now. If you come here I will definitely reach your shoulders
Anirudh: wow ..
Just then sumati came and asked : who is on phone Bondita?
Bondita: Amma ! It's Anirudh baava
Sumati became serious just then Arvind is also coming from his room in judge attire. His face became happy to listen Anirudh's name Whereas sumati asked her daughter to get ready to school as it's getting late. Anirudh on the other side heard sumati words and felt little hurt but somehow adjusted himself as it's not new to him
Arvind glared seriously at her and took receiver and spoke lovingly with Anirudh who told that he got gold medal in barristry course. Now after January he will also return to India and start practicing law.
Arvind wished him all the best and told that I am so eagerly waiting for you to see as barrister in our courts. After speaking for a while he disconnected the phone
He turned to Sumati who is packing box to Bondita: can't you speak affectionately with Anirudh? He is really a nice guy
Sumati: I don't know how to speak with the person who teaches vulgar things to my daughter
Arvind shouted : SUMATI
Sumati turned back and said : what wrong did I say? Is he not the one who taught about that touching and filthy things to my daughter when she is 7 years old
Bondita is looking at her mother sadly. She is upset with the fact that her mother doesn't like Anirudh baava
Arvind: He didn't teach any filthy things he taught about good touch and bad touch. He insisted us to make her join in martial arts and because of that now our daughter had become expert in karate 🥋
Sumati: These are not the things girls should learn. She should be taught shame to stay in limits but not all these.
Arvind said : It's time waste to argue with you .
He turned to Bondita and asked : Are you ready
She nodded and took her bag and tiffen box. He took her and left in their car.
Sumati shooked her head looking displeased and left to her work

Anirudh then made call to his father's office. Receptionist lifted the call and Anirudh told her to connect to his father's cabin as he need to speak an important thing.
Receptionist connected the call to board meeting. There board of directors vinayak (Binoy) Bhushan Rao (bhaumik babu) Jagannath and sampoorna amd some other staff are in serious discussion.
Chandu from America is discussing some important points through online video chat. At that time receptionist gave phone call connection from London and Anirudh happily shared the news even though he know that his father won't be Happy.
His father said : ok is that all you called me to inform?
Anirudh is also hurt and said : yes ..yes naanna.
Vinayak: ok Despite of staying in foreign you still proved that you didn't learn basic manners to not disturb me when Iam in office and disconnected the call rudely. Anirudh felt deeply hurt went and hugged his mother's photo (shobha photo)
Precap: mini told that she is busy in an important project work for next 2 months and may not be available to talk to him in phone also. Anirudh felt wierd and asked that : I won't take much time Mini just for a minute I will listen your voice and disconnect it.
Mini: Anirudh this is software project. You know nothing about it. I am completely busy in this. We don't even have time to breath you know. You might be a gold medalist in barristry but in computers you have zero knowledge and disconnected the phone rudely hurting him
