It's been a rough couple of months for my family. Today was the day Lena will find out if her cancer was gone
To watch her day in and out become sick from all the chemo therapy that they pumped into her veins, we're sitting in the doctors office waiting to hear if she's in remission or not
It's hard watching the person you love the most fight a terrible disease. We received the DNA results a few days ago and Dana Adams is in deed Lena's biological mother. Lena isn't interested in building a relationship with her birth mother. in a way I don't blame her, but this isn't about me. I willing to support my wife whatever she decides, Dr. Sinclair enters the room carrying a millan folder in her hands. Well l have to say
The treatments have been working wonders, you'll be happy to hear your cancer is in remission. Which means no more chemo therapy, but I still want you to come into my office to have your blood tested every three months to make sure everything's okay. And the bone marrow saved your life, you have a lot to be thankful for. I'm giving you a clean bill of health, some people don't make it

But you had a huge support system in your corner. Just make sure you keep all your appointments, as long as you maintain a healthy weight and continue eating smart. Dr. Sinclair said, we shaked her hands and thanked for everything she's done for us. Lena's crying happy tears, this is the best news we've ever received besides the birth of our children

As soon as we're outside the parking lot. I picked her up and spinned her around, baby we did it l said to Lena
We both had tears in our eyes. Let's go celebrate our good news, but first l wanna swing by my parents house to tell them the fantastic news. I can't believe it, l'm cancer free baby thank you so much for keeping me sane all these months. So many times I wanted to give up and throw in the towel, the way she stuck by me

Maybe in a couple of weeks we can take that vacation that we've been talking about Stef asked. Yes a million times yes, l put her down on the ground and we headed to the car
All smiles. I don't know if l ever had loss my wife, l would be incompetent.
Thank God we made it to the other side of the rainbow. This is our life together, no bodies ever gonna come between us. I started up the engine and pulled out of the hospital parking garage, Lena turned on the radio
