The game

        Charlotte POV
  I hurry to get ready I put my hair in two Dutch braids. "Hey the car is waiting for you," Sam knocks on the door. "I thought Im driving myself?" I asked. "Yes you are you will drive behind your parents car. Remember you have security on the sidelines." I nod my head. I grab my keys and my duffle bag. "This is crazy it's my senior year and I'm a princess," I walk out waving to the team as they enter the bus. "Do you mind if I can ride with my team?" I ask "That's fine also we are having a BQ tonight for you and your team," Sam says as I hand the bag to the driver "Let's invite the other team." I inform him before stepping onto the bus. We dance and sing all the way to the stadium. I notice cameras flash as I grab my bag I wave at the cameras smiling. "Princess how does it feel to play a local high school as your last first game as a high schooler?" They ask "It's sad because I grew up loving this sport. And it's closing this chapter of my life," I respond. We walk into the locker room. "This is crazy," my center Jacob said. "Yeah tonight we are having a BQ at the main palace with the other team," I respond "That's amazing just like the coach does every game," he responds. I smile walking over to my locker. I grab my uniform noticing guards by the entrance. I quickly change fixing my braids. "Ok team let's warm up," Coach yells. I exit the locker room we quickly warm up. I wave at my family up in the royal box. Nova and Aela wave back I smile. "Ok we are going to have the king and queen will be doing the coin toss," the refers say. I nod my head waving at my friends on my cheer team. I look surprised seeing so many of my classmates in the stands. The game soon kicked off we end up going into overtime we win with a Hell Marry. My friends surround me celebrating we shake hands with the team. I notice the royal family coming over I walk over "Fantastic play Charlotte," my mom says "Thank you I would curtsy but it's hard with all the padding." I respond "That's fine you deserve it," she says as my dad hugs me. "We are having a team dinner at my house we usually do it to kick off the season," I inform them. "That's fine we already background checked the teams for safety. You can use the big swimming pools just up the hill," my dad said. Nova and Aela walk over with my cousins I hug them. "You guys can come to the party we have our friends who are in the stands," I smile "We will love too," I run into the locker room we celebrate in the locker room.
