Chapter 12- Helpless

I was 2 months pregnant already. Not a single day went by that I didn't think about the out comes of the expedition in a month. I looked down at myself. I could still see my toes, for now that is. I placed a hand on my stomach and rubbed it. I could already feel a bump forming. I smiled. I would get to find out what gender the baby is when Leroy isn't busy. I sat down and watched the rest of the Scouts train and fight with each other. To be honest, I felt completely helpless. There was a girl with blonde hair in a bun and blue eyes. Those blue eyes will never be forgotten. I knew that she was the Titan shifter. I just had to be sure. "How's the baby?" Leroy asked as he walked up to me. "Hmm.... It's okay." I said with another smile. He squatted down in front of me. He slid his hand up my shirt and over my stomach. "Good." He smiled and lifted up my shirt slightly, revealing my growing belly. He leaned his head onto it gently. "You're going to love you mommy. She's so beautiful and amazing. She loves you and so does daddy. I promise to protect you and mommy. Daddy lives the both of you." He said. I blushed and smiled as he planted a gentle kiss. "We love you too." I smiled and giggled. He put my shirt down and leaned over my head. His lips pressed gently against mine. He pulled away. "We can go see Hanji later. Okay?" I looked at him. "Okay." He kissed me again. "Stay safe for me." I nodded. "I will." He smiled and stood up as he left and went to go speak with Levi and Erwin. I looked around at the cadets and Scouts as try trained. Then, I felt completely useless and helpless.
