Hello everybody, just want to take a quick moment to explain some things about writing this story before more chapters are made. If it wasn't already clear, this story is meant to be an adaptation of the recent video game "RWBY: Arrowfell". For those unaware, the story of that game takes place early in the events of RWBY Volume 7 during a small time-skip.
However, this will be considered a loose adaptation since most of this story will not be the same as the game. Both because of the obvious presence of Katsuki Bakugou as a main lead and because I am altering and expanding the plot to be more in-line with the main RWBY storyline rather than a quick side adventure with some one-off characters. Along with that, I am altering said characters with more extended backstories and even altering some of their characteristics.
To point a specific example, Team BRIR will have both more focus on their backstory and some of their powers altered. In this case both Ruda and Roane will be given altered Semblances whilst Bianca will have an entirely new Semblance rather than her copy ability for the sake of more creative potential.
On another note, there are a few reasons I'm writing the story this way in the first place. First off, I've been itching for a Bakugou-centric crossover with RWBY. While there are a ton of My Hero Academia/RWBY crossover fics, they mainly boil down to either just being a RWBY-flavored AU of My Hero Academia, a My Hero Academia-flavored AU of RWBY, RWBY characters being isekai'd to MHA, or just a Midoriya-centric story. So I kinda wanted to have Blasty Mcsplode take center stage here. The other reason is because I wanted a story set in the middle of RWBY or at least be after the Beacon Saga rather than starting from the ground up, just so we can get to the real plot faster. Arrowfell, being a side story at the start of the Atlas Saga, works well to insert Bakugou.
And on a final note regarding this story, I wouldn't hold my breath for any other MHA characters to appear as of right now. I think there is room for more isekai'd characters, especially with Bakugou's absence in MHA canon, but I want to take my time with Bakugou being alone in Remnant first.
And just for fun, here's a set of character bios for a majority of the main cast in this story, just some basic character info along with some character stats using My Hero Academia's Ultra Analysis as a base. Don't take these stats too seriously, this were just made as I was bored.
These also feature some original info like unlisted character ages and Bianca's new Semblance, so be warned for that.
