"what are you doing?" henry asked, as he walked into the bathroom.
"wow you couldn't have at least knocked," i sighed, as i carefully put on eyeliner.
"you didn't answer my question."
"i'm getting ready," i said like it was obvious.
"for what, we're not going anywhere."
"for the club," i said quietly.
"y/n, we don't need to go," he said softly, and i knew it was true. after all i had just gotten broken up with not even 24 hours ago, but i really wanted to go.
"please henry, it'll help me take my mind off of...we'll everything," i said turning to him.
he stayed silent for a minute while i pleased with my eyes, "fine."
"thank you!" i said running up to him like a child and giving him a hug.
"okay do you think you'll be ready in about an hour?" he asked, checking his watch.
"yeah."
"okay," he said patting the door frame before he left.
as he left i had one thought.
