Silently, I walk with Thee
White knuckled hands, belie my stance
Where are the dreams sparkling in the sand
I'm a mirage beholden in a trance.
Shining through, my dreams sting true
In a hapless way, they make me sway
They goad me on
To move the paddles of wishes lifelong.
At the pinnacle of practicality
My dreams refuse to defy me
They are not wisps of smoke
But rather a future unfold.
The winter does conceal the buds
They hibernate
And yet do not hesitate
To break free
And live their dreams.
