Kai thought he had this all under control. This is easy. All he's gotta do is ask, "Y/N, will you be my Yang!-" ... God was he wrong. When he held the pendant ( i'm not so sure what it's called ) and started to fidget with it as he waited for you to return to the Monastery after school. He didn't ask Jay for help because well, he doesn't to be teased so. You entered the Monastery with a scowl on your face, Kai noticed and immediately went to comfort you. He asked what happened and you told him school was being a pain in the a$$. Piles and piles of papers were due in these next three weeks and your bullies won't leave you alone, making fun of you because you're dating a Ninja Kai thought for a moment, maybe this will cheer your mood? He cleared his throat as you looked up from the desk you were currently sitting at. "Well. I'm not sure how to make your life better than is now, but..." He suddenly got on one knee, took your hand, and grinned at you, "You've certainly got mine in knots. And I'd love to keep that. Y/N, will you be my yang?" You gasped slightly, tears forming in your eyes as you laughed, "Yes!" And tackled the brunette to the ground. He gave you a passionate kiss on the lips and pressed your forehead to his as he and you lay on the floor of your room. "You don't know how long I've been wanting to say that." He chuckled as you pecked his face multiple times before his lips once more. "Right back at'cha, hot stuff~"
Cole was a gentleman, so when he wanted to ask you to be his yang he was going off the walls trying to figure out how to do this. Does it do in the room? No, too modern. The Bounty? No, that won't be romantic at all. Suddenly he remembered the garden by the park of Ninjago. It was Autumn to the trees would be a red and orange color with a hint of yellow. The air is also calm and soothing, perfect! He had everything set up. He asked Zane took bake him some of your favorite pastries and snacks while he organized a picnic, just the two of you. Once all set, he called you to meet him at the park. The both of you met, upon your behalf, and he told you to cover his eyes. He led you to the spot and told you to open your eyes in your ear. You removed the blindfold he gave you and your heart melted at the sight you've been revealed to. There was a red and white checkered blanket under two large trees, small bushes, and a bunch of leaves on the ground. "Cole-" You spoke, memorizing the view as you spun slowly to look at your boyfriend, but as you turned around you jumped seeing the boy on his knee with a pendant in his hand. "Y/N M/N L/N. I've known you for half of my life now, and it's been the best. I wouldn't ask for a better person to be with than you. Which is why I want you to make me the happiest man on earth. Will you be my yang?" There was a long pause and Cole started to panic, why aren't they- Suddenly he got tackled to the ground and immediately wrapped his arms around your torso as you sobbed into his shoulder with happy cheers of joy, "YES! Yes, Cole, YES!" Cole snuggled his face into your hair and rolled back and forth, laughing with a merry smile on his face.
Jay was a nervous train wreck. for the past couple of months, he's been walking around, fighting crime, defeating lords of evil with a pendant in his pocket. His mind would be normally focused on you and the pendant, causing jeopardy to the team's success in most missions. Cole confronted him about it and Jay realized he needed help. he told Cole he was wanting to ask you to be his Ynag and asked if it was too early? Cole went bonkers and said, 'Too early? If you ask me I'd say this is a perfect time! It's Y/N birthday soon, that would be the best birthday present ever!' Jay felt so stupid, almost forgetting your birthday was in just two weeks. Jau, and the other ninja, all made a plan for where and when Jay will ask Y/N. Y/N wanted their party to be at a roller skating arena! The day arrived of your birthday and during that time skip, Jay's been practicing asking you if will you be his Yang. He and the others, including you, all rented skates for a couple of hours, and you and Jay were the first to get on the floor while Cole and Kai followed after. Zane and PIXAL stayed by the table and chatted for a couple more moments before following and Nya was with Skylor in the arena just casually skating and chatting, momentarily looking towards you and Jay waiting for him to pop the question. 1 hour passed and Jay thought now would be the time, before the presents and cake. You were chatting with Nya and Skylor until Jay skated up behind you, the pendant in his hand. His legs were shakey and Nya noticed. She gave him a look to tell him to calm down and breathe. "Y/N-" he asked and you smiled, turning around and gave him a bright smile, "Hi, Jay! What's up?" Jay felt himself gulp his own spit as he started to speak, "I-I uh...I was wondering if uhm--ah jeez!" You cocked your head to the side as he continued, "Y/N, you make me the happiest person on this planet and I love you so much. Will you be Ya-AHNG?!" Jay ended up panicking and ended up falling on top of you. Skylor and Nya pushed each other to the side while you toppled to the floor with Jay on top of you. "Crap!" He squeaked, trying to get off you but he just toppled over you again. "Y/N!" he cried, "Are-are you okay! dammit, I'm sorry! Can you stand-?" Before he could react, you pulled him down and his lips crashed onto yours. He had a blush on his face as he slowly closed his eyes. You pulled away and chuckled, taking the pendant from him. "You," you breathed out, "Are such a dork, Walker. Of course, I would!"
Zane would be so formal about it. He'll get a suit and tie, scented candles to smell up the room in your favorite scent, get rose petals, hell even if he could rent a choir to sing you're favorite songs to you. But let's not get ahead of ourselves, first, he needs you to say yes before he started planning what he wants to do in the future with you. ( that sounds so wrong, there has to be a better way to phrase that but my brain is not braining rn ) You came home one evening after the part-time job and you go to after-school hours. You help out in your school's daycare and you get paid 25$ an hour, so you say it's a pretty fair trade. You don't come home until 9, or 10 if there's traffic and you have to take the bus, but it's still worth the cash. You entered your bedroom, only to be greeted by your Nindroid sitting by your bedside with a box of chocolates and a white suit. "Good evening, my love." Zane greeted and you let out an airy chuckle, throwing your school bag to the corner of your room and shutting the door. 'Zane, what's all this? Valentine's day was almost 2 weeks ago, remember?" Zane smiled to himself as he wrapped his arms around your torso, hugging you gently. "I know, baby. But I have a really important question for you. Do you mind sitting on the bed?" He asked, motioning you t sit on the bed. You blushed softly but smiled, obeying, and set yourself on the bed, taking off your shoes. Zane asked you to close your eyes and so you did. Moments passed and you heard shuffling. "Okay, open them." You opened yours, readjusting to the dim light, and looked in front of you..there you saw Zane on his knee with a pendant in his hand. You covered your mouth to stop yourself from screaming with joy and tears formed in your eyes as the Nindrois spoke. "Y/N M/N L/N. I asked God for an angel, he gave me you. I asked him for a day, and he gave me 8 amazing months. I asked him for a kiss, and he gave me a bouquet of them. I asked God for a life with you, and now I'm here to make it a reality. Y/N, will you make me the happiest Nindroid on earth and be my Yang?" You were speechless, all you could show in return was a nod with a lot of tears of joy as a smile formed on your face as you hugged him slowly. He placed the pendant to the side and hugged you back, kissing the top of your head and rubbed your back. "I love you, Y/N."
Nya draws a blank when it comes to asking someone to be their Yang. Nya rarely gets flustered, so seeing her blush softly when she sees you walk past her, you get confused. Is it your outfit? No, she would tell you if you looked ugly...because why would she let her S/O walk around looking ugly? Days went by and Nya called you to come to the Monastery. Something about Jay needing your help figuring out his new machine to help you control you're elemental power, you're not entirely sure but yet you still arrived 20 minutes after she hung up the call with you. You entered the building and called out for Jay, who soon bolted down the hall immediately after you call his name. "Y/N! You came faster than expected!" Jay smiled nervously, wrapping an arm around, turning you both around, and starting to walk down the hall. "Uhm, sorry was there a specific time was I was supposed to be here-?" Suddenly a loud crash was heard in Nya's room and Jay mentally facepalmed as you whipped your head in the direction, "Nya!" Jay tried to grab you but you were too fast. "No, wait. NYA THEY'RE COMING IN FASTER THAN MY HOT WHEELS COLLECTION, BRACE YOURSELF!" You were confused why Jay was screaming as he ran after you, but once you entered Nya's room, it all made sense. "Nya, are you-" You froze when you saw the black-haired girl look back at you with a ( favorite colored ) kimono on her body. She had a smile on her face as she pulled you into the room. "Now what are you dressed up for?" You asked with a dorky smile, seeing the way her hair was but in a neat bun. "Why, for you of course." Your heart started to beat 10x faster than before like a drum was beating it faster than Sonic. "Oh?" You grinned, pushing that thought to the back of your head when Nya took her hand and placed it in her pocket, taking out a pendant. She placed her forehead to yours and whispered, "Y/N, I've been waiting months to ask you this question..." You both paused, "Will you be my Yang?" before anything, you tackled her to the floor and peppered her face in kisses, "Is that even a question, of course!" Nya smiled, wrapping her arms around your neck as your hands grabbed her hips you both shared a passionate kiss. Meanwhile, outside, Kai's head was pinned to the door, "How long have they been in there?" Cole rolled his eyes and pulled his boyfriend's hair back away from the door. "Not even 5 minutes, Kai. Stop being so protective, It's Y/N. They'll treat Nya well. They've been for 7 months. Kai felt tears prick from the edge of his eyes as he cried, "Ah! Okay- The hair, the haiiir!"
Lloyd had a hard time accepting his feelings for you, now that he has to ask you to be his Yang. He might as well die from the heat to his body at this point. It feels like he's on fire every time he sees the pendant. Kai, being the older brother he is to the blonde, helped him Lloyd ask you to be his yang. Kai even had the courage to look through your clothes and took out some of your jeans and shirt. Lloyd felt a bit uneasy when he saw Kai in your clothes, but he pushed that thought to his head. As Lloyd was on his knees, you entered the room to find Lloyd on his knees in front of Kai while he was in your clothes. Lloyd was the only one who blushed furiously when he saw you. "I-'m....just going toooo.." Before you could leave, Lloyd stood up and ran into you, pushing you out of the room and leaving Kai to look at himself in the mirror. He looked good in these jeans, if he's being honest, ANYWAY. Lloyd explained he was trying to get help from Kai. "What kind of help...was that?" You asked and Lloyd blushed, "I, uh. I asked him if he could help...me..ask you to...be my yang.." He murmured that last part so only you and he could hear it. You had a small blush on your face when you noticed the pendant in his hand. You smiled, taking his cheeks into your hands as you kissed his lips. he mingled into the touch moments later and hs mouth was gaped open when you pulled away. "I'd love to be your Yang, Lloyd."
