Present Time
"Yes, I understand.. Thank you. For Everything so far" i said "you're welcome, goodbye" the doctor said as he hung up
I quietly went back inside after the phone call, honestly i didn't need to be too careful since the rain already covered the sounds of my footsteps but i still being cautious so that I wouldn't wake him up
I went into the bedroom and started to pack up my things and lightly walked back into the room to get the rest of my things
As i took my belongings i took a glance at Xavier and saw him sleeping peacefully, seeing him made me think of all of the past few days we spent together
And how it will soon be just a fond memory to remember
As i picked up my back I gently kissed him on his forehead "I'm sorry.. Goodbye.." i had whispered
Before leaving . .
"Where to madam?" The taxi driver asked
"Le bristol paris" I answered, he nodded before we drove off
As we started to approach the hotel several scenarios started to play in my head, such as how Xavier would react to waking up with me gone
Would he text me? Call me? Go to my hotel?
One by one as we got to the entrance of the hotel the questions started to fill up my head
"Hi, uhm can you wait here.. just for a moment? I only need to get some things and I'll be right back" i told the driver
"Sure, may i know your name or room number just in case you go M.I.A.?" He asked
"Celeste, room 207. Thank you I'll only take a moment" i said as i got out of the car
I immediately went into my room and swiftly packed the rest of my bags and brought all of them down to the lobby
After giving the keys to my room at the reception and saying goodbye i took my luggage and went to the taxi and placed them in the trunk
"Thank you for your patience" i said as i got back in
"Well now where to? Madam?" He asked
I looked out the window and watched as the rain started to pouring down harder, i looked into the front mirror to answer
"Somewhere..
Far from here.."
