Punching the Pack

Steve, Nancy, Suzie and Jonathan originally did stay at the residence, at least initially. But, all of them forgot one crucial thing... Steve's a wanted criminal, specifically a vigilante. And their defeat of the Demogorgon caught a lot of attention. With Sadako going off on her own, the four of them were just normal people in the middle of a superpowered world. And that caught up to them real quick when there was a knock at the door. Looking out through a window, Nancy found that there were police and even some heroes at the front of the building. Steve also looked out the window and paled. "Shit, they're here for me. They don't tolerate people helping others if they don't have a badge."

"Well, then we have to get out of here." Jonathan said, checking the back emergency exit. Their car was still parked there. It was a rental, so if things got... heated... then there was nothing to worry about. "Nancy, you called Nezu when we got back right?"

She replied back, her voice unsteady, but her eyes showing the honesty hidden in her voice. "Y-yeah. The plane's ready at a moment's notice."

Steve and Suzie were both confused now. They didn't know anything about a Nezu, or understand the fact that there was a plane ready to depart. "Wait, what?"

Jonathan elaborated for both of them, and the plan all came to light. "We're getting you two out of the country. We'll just have to be quick."

Tarhos Kovacs sat upon the pedestal of a destroyed statue. The town, whose name he didn't care to learn, was utterly razed by the four of them. Broken and battered buildings surrounded him, smoke rising into the air, and it was glorious. Many warriors had attempted to stop them. The fools. They had the protection of God, causing their attacks to be... ineffective. Very few even used weapons.

He had seen this land's military set up around a perimeter, and found this to be an advantageous spot outside of said perimeter. He didn't know what their weapons were, but didn't think they would be particularly useful. No swords, or bows, or crossbows, just these weirdly shaped metal things. If they were like those accursed flashlights the survivors used, then they would be a nuisance, nothing more. However, his thoughts on the matter were interrupted as he heard footsteps approaching. They weren't from anyone he'd ever met before, so he angled his frogmouth helm to look in the direction... and found a redheaded man before him. He was Japanese, and didn't speak Hungarian or Italian, so it didn't matter. He'd die. Right here, right now. Gripping his executioner's greatsword, he relished its previous uses. The blade itself had a flat tip, designed to decapitate with clean strikes, and had a hefty  used it to pull himself to his feet, saying, "Well... you're brave for coming here... but now you'll die alone."

It was then that he saw his pack, arriving back and surrounding the man. He would perish, here and now. All he did was point his sword at them, and command, "Attack!"

Kirishima was completely focused on the main knight, when they barked out an order. It was in a language he couldn't understand. But the intent was crystal clear, as rapid movement from all around him highlighted his situation. The first to arrive at him was a smaller man, with a broken sword, slashing downwards at him. Hardening with his quirk, he was able to deflect the blow away, however, a blow he couldn't deflect came in the form of a searing hot brand jabbed into his side. Gritting his teeth, he lashed out, backhanding the one who did it. He was about to start kicking him when a big man, almost as big as him, but far wider than he would ever want to be, raised a makeshift battleax and roared. It would have broken through his shoulder, armored as it was by his quirk, so Kirishima used his hand to parry it, punched him away. The adversary let the ax go, and the augmented redhead took it and used it against them, and ripped it away. However, before he could continue his attack, the first guard struck at him again, this time aiming under his ribcage. He would've struck home if Kirishima didn't parry the blow, and then countered with the makeshift ax into their head. It was all so fast that the redhead didn't realize that he'd just killed a man due to the attacks of the other two, who now redoubled their efforts. Kirishima grabbed the poker away just above the grip, and ripped it out of the man's grasp. He belted him in the head with it, before turning to the larger man, and stabbing at him with the poker. He yelled before lashing out and punching Kirishima away, to the floor.

Tarhos didn't know what to expect from this man. He was large, muscular, but also arrogant in approach. But he took notice when he cleaved Durkos' head with Sander's ax. It almost made him proud that his friend was only dispatched by a capable warrior, similar to himself. Now that the battle was turning in the redhead's favor... he started to make his way over. Carrying his sword over his shoulder, Tarhos approached from behind, and swung down, striking at him with the pommel. He was certainly tough, as it felt like he was striking rock. Realizing this, he plunged his sword into the ground, and tore off part of a banner... one with a red circle on a white background. Something that once few high, but now lay tattered on the ground... one that would be most useful right now, because that man may be tough... but still had to breathe.

Kirishima, dazed, still fought back bravely. He burned the throat of the big man, but the smaller one tried to grab it back. A mistake he would punish, as Kirishima jammed the grip of the poker through his eye, and accidentally through the back of his skull. Before he could comprehend anything else, he found that his airway was suddenly being constricted... With the big fat one laughing at his misfortune. Trying to grab at the one choking him, he found it was the armored man from before. He had finally gotten involved, and it only took half his team dying to get involved. He jabbed an elbow, but it was stopped by metal breastplate... but the fat one was way too close. So Kirishima did what was the only option: He kicked off of him, making the large knight fall on his back, releasing his grip slightly. Taking in a breath, he wrestled away from him, and bolted a short distance to get to his feet and recover. They had done the same, the knight having retrieved his main weapon, the flat tipped executioner's greatsword.

This was going to be a tough fight if he was going in with dirty tactics. Preparing himself, he launched himself at the two remaining enemies...
