Theo hovers around Liam and Mason is trying to figure out why...
Theo stood besides Liam eyes never leaving the betas. "What's the plan?" Theo asks making Mason turn to look at him.
"Why are you here again?" Mason retorts looking him up and down, he wasn't exactly Theo's biggest fan, that was obvious.
"He's helping us" Liam says side eyeing Theo.
"With what? We're going to watch a movie" Mason snorts.
"What if something happens? Monroe is still alive we don't know if she'll return" Liam explains looking at Mason with hopeful eyes, hoping his best friend would understand.
"if you wanted to invite him to the movies with us you could of just said that" Mason laughs catching Liam off guard.
Liam shakes his head "Mason" liam says warningly "it's just better to be safe, can't hurt to have another werewolf with us."
"Bro he's not even a full werewolf"
"if someone comes what are you going to do Mason? Liam would have to fight them alone, you can't protect yourself let alone him. I can" Theo explained, "let's just watch this movie".
Liam nods as they walk into the cinema, sitting between Theo & Mason "popcorn?" Theo smirks offering his snacks to Liam & Mason.
"You probably poisoned them" Mason half jokes refusing, he appreciated the offer but he wasn't about to be Theo's best friend.
"Sorry about him I think he's still mad at you" Liam says.
"You're not?" Theo asks, his eyes full of hope. The idea of Liam hating him hurt, he knew he deserved it but god it hurt.
"I stopped hating you a while ago" Liam admits, before Theo could reply the movie started...which Liam was thankful for.
Mid way during the movie Theo stretched out his arm behind Liam making Mason scoff "really dude?" Mason questions.
"What? My arms sore" Theo smirked, Liam was too focused on the movie to even realise they were talking.
"Smooth" Mason said rolling his eyes and going back to the movie. Once the movie was over Liam insisted they had to get ice cream, "fine but you're paying," Mason remarked as they walk outside to the small ice cream parlour.
Theo smiled when he saw all the options "I haven't had ice cream since I was a kid," he said softly.
Liam looked up at him "get whatever you want," Liam insisted, Theo's smile widens and he nods. The thought of Theo's childhood- or lack of, really didn't sit right with the beta.
Mason ended up getting strawberry while Liam & Theo had both gotten choc chip. "Thanks for bringing me along," Theo says mainly to Liam.
"Anytime, can never be too cautious right?" he said looking away knowing he was lying to himself.
Theo gave a slight laugh nodding "definitely".

"Why do you seem to just appear out of thin air" Mason snapped looking up to see none other then Theo, "you don't even play lacrosse!"
"Liam does," Theo reminded before looking back at Mason with a smirk, appreciating Mason scooting over so Theo could sit beside him.
"You know Liams not gay right?" Mason states reminding Theo. He knew Theo was gay, he knew when they first met. It was obvious to him, maybe it was a gay thing.
"Have you seen the way he looks at me?" Theo laughed before adding, "okay he's definitely not gay, but surely he's bisexual".
Mason rolled his eyes "so that's why you've been following him around like a lost puppy dog? You got the hots for Liam...my best friend?" Mason questioned.
But before Theo could reply Liam had approached them "what are you doing here?" He asks looking at Theo. He couldn't hide the big smile upon his face, he didn't expect to see Theo at his game.
"Just here to make sure nothing happens, like you said...can never be too cautious right? " he smirked.
Liam nodded looking down, "that's true," he says as coach blew the whistle "I gotta go but talk after the game?" He asked only jogging back once Theo nodded.
"To answer your question...yes I do" he said knowing Liam was in earshot of their conversation. Liam managed to steal the ball and started running for the goal, dodging every other player, swinging his stick he scored.
Theo couldn't help but feel proud, biting his tongue from cheering he turned to Mason "he's good," Theo commented.
Mason nodded in agreement, despite not playing sport he had always enjoyed watching Liam play. Supporting his best friend and admiring the eye Candy on the field, it wasn't a bad gig. "Yes he is" Masons mind was racing.
He's known Liam forever, how could he have not seen the signs. It was so obvious now, "Does Liam know you like him?" He couldn't help but ask.
"I think he knows but I haven't told him, i was hoping he'd say something first but he's kind of oblivious" Theo laughs "I don't wanna be the one to admit I like him, what if he doesn't feel the same way and I'm just some idiot who fell for the true alphas beta?" He admitted with a shrug.
"Look the last thing I want to do is help you in anyway after what you did for Scott, but after you took away Gabes pain...Something changed and you do care and if Liams the thing that makes you care I'd say go for it," Mason insisted.
"And if he doesn't like me back?" Theo questioned, afraid of the response and dreading that conversation with Liam.
"He does, I've known Liam my whole life, he didn't even look at Hayden the way he looks at you" Mason said, shaking his head confused.
With Liam scoring again Coach blew the whistle signalling half time. Liam took off his helmet and jogged towards Theo & Mason. Smiling before he asked "did you see that?! I literally threw it half way down the field and it still went in!" Theo laughed, the betas smile always made him feel happy.
"You did good," Theo praised making Liam's smile widen. Liam wasn't used to receiving praise but he certainly wasn't going to complain about it either.
"I'm gonna find Corey," Mason interrupts taping Theo on the shoulder on his way. He didn't need to be there for the conversation, nor in the way of it.
Theo cleared his throat "umm Liam-" he started, standing up and brushing off his shirt "can I tell you something?" He asked nervously.
Liam nodded confused, he had never seen the Chimera so nervous before, usually Theo had such confidence & cockiness that it annoyed him, but something about nervous Theo made his heart flutter, "Yeah?" He asked.
"I've been meaning to tell you for a while now I just didn't know how," Theo starts...Liam knows where this is going.
"You wanna leave town?" Liam interrupted now a worried mess. He needed Theo, he couldn't function if Theo were to leave town. Realistically- he could, but he didn't want to.
Theo was thrown off "no! Definitely not, unless you want to?" he asked making Liam laugh.
"No I just i remember you saying you wanted to leave and I don't want you to leave but if it will make you happy you can I just—" Liam rambled, Theo found himself so lost in those blue eyes he stopped thinking.
His brain stopped running and his thoughts stopped racing. "I like you-" Theo said making Liam stop in his tracks, his heart racing.
"Oh" Liam said softly looking at Theo, not knowing what to say.
"Fuck I knew I shouldn't of said anything, you don't have to like me back I know I've done horrible things and imma shit person an—" Theo's rambling was cut off by Liams lips against his own.
"I like you too-" Liam panted pulling away from the kiss "I have for a while now," he admitted before looking down.
"Good," Theo says pulling Liam in for a longer more passionate kiss, only for it to be cut short by Coach blowing the whistle, "go win for me baby" he says in a teasing tone.
Liam laughs nodding, "I'll do my best," he says putting his helmet back on and walking off.
Theo couldn't stop smiling "fuck-" he gasped sitting back down, feeling all the air leave his lungs.
"I told you it would go well" Mason laughed sitting back besides him.
"Where did you come from?" Theo questioned looking around expecting to see Corey with him.
"We hid behind the bleachers, had to make sure you didn't pussy out." Mason laughed.
Theo shook his head "so I guess this means we're friends right?" He asked, but Mason shook his head "I'll take it," he laughed as the second half started and Liam ran for the ball.
