*beep beep beep* My alarm clock ring, I can't seem to find it.. where is it? Oh! There is it! Good morning world. Another boring life. The first thing i did is ready the things i need at school i'm already at college my course is law because my dad is a lawyer and he want me to become one too.
And because i'm a dutiful daughter of course susunod ako sa lahat lahat ng gusto niya para din daw kase yun sa akin. Hindi rin naman ako maka-hindi kay dad kase di ko alam kung saan ako pupulutin kung mag-disagree ako sa kanya.
You might think why did i said that "Hindi ko alam kung saan ako pupulutin." Dahil wala rin naman akong kilalang ibang kamaganak kundi si dad lang. Wala akong kilala na grandparents or aunties and uncles sa both side ng parents ko.
Wait bakit parang nakwento ko na ang boung buhay ko? Anyways nasa baba na ako to be specific at the kitchen, always nag iwan ng notes si dad sa table.
Note:
"I already cook breakfast for you so you don't have to and before you leave the house for school, can you please clean the house on my behalf hon? Thank you." -dad
He cook fried rice and eggs.. that's all? Well baka nag mamadali si dad kanina? baka yan lang yun nailuto niya, okay. Thank you i guess..? Everyday naman sinasabi sa akin na i have to clean the whole house but sometimes hindi ko na nalilinis yun bahay kase maaga yun pasok. But now 1pm pa naman yun pasok ko eh so i have time to do all the chores. Kumuha na ako ng plate and utensils and check all my notification from last night. Wala namang nag chat sa akin last night so i just choose something to watch on the internet.
While i'm watching and eating a chat pop-up and it's from my best friend Vincent we know each other since middle school.
Vince: "Oyy! Thena pwede ba akong pumunta sa bahay niyo?"
Huh? Why kaya..? Did something happened to him and his girlfriend?
Me: "Why?"
Vince: "Basta! Sasabihin ko sayo pag punta ko sa bahay niyo!"
Me: "Sure you can come."
Vince: "Really?! Thank you!!!😘💕"
I finished eating and clean the dishes. After a minute or so Vince arrived at the house, but when i open the door something is wrong with his eyes.. something is fishy.. why did i say that? Because his eyes are red and his nose too. Something did happened. "So what happened?" I ask him.
"Did something happened between you and your girlfriend?"
He didn't answer me and keep playing with his phone..
"Hello Vince to earth please."
He still didn't answer. He take a deep breath and open his mouth "Wala na kami ni Keziah."
He said while his head is down. "Let's sit down first, do you want some coffee?" I ask him and let him sit down.
"Sure.."
Sa sagot niya parang yun boses niya kanina pa siya umiiyak.. I go to the kitchen and prepared some coffee for him "Here it's still hot so be careful."
I said while ibinibigay ko sa kanya yun coffee. "So.. do you want to talk about it?" I ask
"Kase kagabi nag away kami about sa nakita kong message sa ig account niya.."
"Tapos away niya pang sabihin yun totoon.."
"Tapos mga 2am na kakatapos ko lang gawin yun mga home works ko nag chat siya sa akin na.. break na daw kami.."
Parang gusto niyang umiyak at humagulgul.. Wala naman akong masabi because i don't have any experience sa pag kakaroon ng relationship with anyone..
I open my arms and said "Come here, okay lang yun.. makakahanap ka rin ng taong para talaga sayo. But for now learn how to love your self first before you love someone."
I caress his back "Baka it's time na alagaan mo muna ang sarili mo."
I hear him sob on my shoulder.. he pull back from the hug "Ikaw ha, saan mo nakuha yan?"
"What?"
"Yun mga advice mo sa akin kanina.."
I chuckle and look at him "Sa mga books ko, bakit?" He slightly smile.
"Sabi ko na nga ba eh!"
"Pwede bang dito ka muna mga lilinis lang ako ng house" I ask and stand up.
"Yeah, sure"
"Kumain kana ba?" I ask him.
"Oo, kumain ako before ako pumunta dito." I start some songs and clean the whole house.
Vincent pov;
I know Athena since middle school. Sa unang tingin mukang mataray at masungit si Thena dahil sa rest face niya, mukha kasing kakain ng tao si Thena pag naka rest face siya pero hindi lang siya mataray, sobrang taray niya pero sa unang lang yun.
Noong naging mag kaibigan kami at nalaman ng mga classmates namin na close na kami nagulat siya, natawa nalang ako sa sinabi ng isa naming classmate,
"Kala ko nagaguma ka na dahil bigla kayo naging friends!"
Ang totoon lang ay overprotective si Thena sa akin dahil wala naman siyang siblings or other relatives na mas bata sa kanya, Kaya sa akin nalang siya naging overprotective at okay lang yun sa akin. At sa buong school year namin ng middle and high school ako at si Summer lang ang naging friends niya kaming tatlo ay magkakasama parin sa iisang university pero mag kakaibang ng course.
Si Thena is law, ako ay Architecture at si Summer ay Psychology. Kahit na makakaiba kami ng mga schedule at department we still try and hangout together.
Baka nag tataka tayo dahil sa sisabi ko kanina na "Ikaw ha, saan mo nakuha yan?"
Ay dahil hindi pa na nag kakaroon ng boyfriend si Thena since birth! Hindi kaya dahil masyadong mataas ang standards ni Thena?
Dahil isa siya bookworm same sila ni Summer. Sa tuwing nagkikita kita kami ang unang takbohan ng dalawa ay ang book store. I mean i try reading once pero mabilis akong naboring.. Hindi ko na nga alam ang gagawin kay Thena dahil ang dami nang umakyat ng ligaw sa kanya and all of them she turn it down like all of them!
Halo Halo na nga ang mga nagligaw sa kaya may pogi,mayaman, may okay lang, may kaya, may nerd, may matangkad, pandak, at kung sino sino pa. Mapapa sana all kana lang, iba rin naman ang beauty ni Thena matalino, mayaman, maganda ano pang hahanapin mo baka nakay Thena na ang lahat ng gusto mo sa isang babae.
Athena Pov:
Kakatapos ko lang manglinis ng bahay at dahil maaga pa naman magluluto muna ako ng lunch. May lunch kaya si dad sa office niya? Dalhan ko nalang siya bago ako pumunta ng school.
"Ano yan?" He ask and walk towards me.
"Abodo, your favorite." I smile.
"Ikaw na talaga Thena!" He shout.
"Want to taste it?" I ask.
"Sure, mmm~ smell palang ang sarap na!!"
"Here, dahan-dahan it's hot."
"Mm~ Ang sarap!" He put a thumbs up to my face.
"Matagal pa ba yan?"
"Hindi matatapos na to"
"Arrange ko na ba yun mga plates?" He ask and walk towards the sink.
"Yes please, thank you." I start to prepare our food and put it on the table.
"Mmm~~ Ang sarap!! Ikaw na Thena! Ikaw na talaga!" I just chuckle i'm glad na nakakasmile na ulit siya.
Ayaw ko kase na nakikita ko yun mga taong mahalaga sa akin na nalulungkot. After we ate lunch nilis ko na yun table and inihanda ko na yun food na dadalhin ko for dad.
"Para kay Tito ba yan?"
"Oo, di ko kase alam ko may food siya sa office niya." "I'm just going to take a bath." And close the bathroom door behind me. After a minute I finish my bath i go to my room a get dress.
"Are we going now?" He ask "Yeah, pupunta pa ako sa office ni dad."
-At the office-
After maybe a minute or so we finally arrived at my dad's office, Sabi ko kay Vince sa car na Lang siya mag hintay at ako nalang ang pupunta sa office ni dad. May nag-assist naman sa akin yun secretary ni dad si ate Rachel it might sound rude to call someone "ate" but she's the one who insisted to be call ate.
"Ate Rachel nasa office po ba si dad?" I ask her politely.
"Oh! Thena! It's been a long time since i last see you." She give a sweet smile.
"But to answer your question yes, he's in his office doing some paper work. Want me to escort you to his office?" She ask.
"Oh no, it's alright Ate Rachel. I'll be going now." I bow at her before I take my leave.
"What a beautiful young lady.."
I arrived at my dad's office door i knock *knock! knock. "Come in."
"Dad.." pinasok ko yun ulo ko sa pinto.
"Oh hon, why are you here?" He ask but his attention is still on the paper.
"By any chance do you have a lunch?" I ask him nervously..
"Yes, why? Fiona already bought me lunch." He said looking at me.
"Is that so..?" I bit my lip.
"It's nothing i thought you don't have lunch, so I thought it we'll be a good idea if i bring you something delicious to eat for lunch.." I stood up by the door.
"it's fine you can leave the food you bring, you can put it on that table." He pointed on a little table on my right side.
"Okay.." I answer as I put down the food on the table.
"I'll be leaving now dad.." I look at him.
"Sure hon, be careful on your way." I look at him one more time and the food i bring him.
I thought to myself.. "I bet he will not eat the food i bring him." I walk my way out of that office.
Ng makarating ako sa parking lot sumakay agad ako sa car ni Vince and sit beside him in silence. "Did something happened" he ask and look at me before he start the car.
"No, it's nothing." I respond very bluntly to him.
"No it's not nothing you know your bad at hiding your emotion.." I sigh.
"Dapat pala di na ako nag punta, kase may lunch na pala si dad." I look at the window.
"Binilhan na pala siya ng jowa niya" yes you heard that right, Fiona Rodríguez is my dad's girlfriend. Diba nadaig pa ako ng papa ko! My mom died when I was 11 years old. I was pretty young when i lost my mom.. but I thought to myself,
"No worries! I have my dad and we will over come this!" Mali pala ako kase parang ako yun nag alaga kay papa ng mga panahon na dapat siya ang nag alaga sa akin. Parang naging balikdad yun mundo ko. Sa mga dumaan na araw, araw-araw siyang lasing.
Pero hinayaan ko nalang siya.. ano bang magagawa ko? Wala naman. Kaya hinayaan ko nalang siya alam naman ni dad lahat ng ginagawa niya, sabi nga niya "Alam ko ang ginagawa ko Thena!" I snap out of my thoughts when i hear Vince talk.
"We're here na Thena!" He said.
"Oh! Oh.. thank you for taking me here to school." I'm fake a smile.
"oh it's cool." He smile back at me.
"I'll be going now, bye." I turn around and walk.
