Paano kaya kapag hindi kami nagkakilala? Paano kapag hindi pinakialaman ni dad iyong status and relationship ko? Will I still learn how to grow on my own and still struggling on my own?
Siguro oo, mapapagod ako, ma-stress ako pagkatapos nang lahat na sobrang busy na ngayon sa kompanya na hindi ako kumakain tuwing umaga kasi lagi naman late iyong gising ko, Finn's fault, his libido is too high and he's so insatiable. I've never expected him to be a beast in bed. Buti nalang pinapadalhan niya ako ng luto niya araw-araw.
Speaking of him, my phone rang and it was him, the caller so I answered.
"Hi,"
"Hello, have you already eaten?" There's always a gentleness in his voice.
"Yes mister senator, lagi akong busog sa luto mo. Masarap iyong menudo. Alam mo na ang gusto ko ah!"
He laughed on the other line. "I really should. Malapit naman na kitang maging asawa kaya kailangan dapat alam ko lahat nang tungkol sa'yo."
I grinned. "Maganda iyan, kaysa naman ako magpapa-alala sa iyo ng mga pagkaing gusto ko at ayaw ko, mga iba't-ibang bagay na ayaw din at gusto edi matutulog ka nalang sa sofa. Kasya ka naman doon."
He tsked on the other line. "I've been sleeping many times on the sofa, can I not sleep there again? It will hurt my body."
"Sakto lang naman iyon, ako nga sanay sa kahit sa upuang kawayan na matulog, ikaw pa kaya?"
"Okay fine, my little miss won. See you tomorrow morning, please sleep early and don't wait for me because I still have something to do in my office. Mag-oovertime muna ako."
"Sure, I'll be a good lady today. Good night kiss my love so sweet mwa, mwa, tsup, tsup!" I said before I ended the call.
One month has passed and we're still strong, akala ko nga hindi kami matatagalan kasi hindi ko siya naiintindihan minsan at away lagi pero ang haba ng pasensya niya na siya rin ang nakakaintindi sa akin.
Sometimes, I ended up crying in his arms saying sorry because I'm so immature. He made me realize that I should be loved and not be always anyone's last choice. Unlike my father and his family, I've never experienced to be their first nor second choice.
He also never mentioned any woman and his secretary ain't a woman so I am confident and that I trust him enough to break ours.
"Rawr!" Ate Aile rawred then her chuckle roared inside restaurant when she heard our director's name in our YSL company. "I've seen his abs and he's yummy!" Kyle and I laughed at ate Aile's statement.
"Gaga ka Aile, baka nga you tasted each other!" Sabi ni Kyle.
Nanlaki ang mata ni ate at umiling. "I was never tasted by anyone else, you bitch! Syempre nakita ko lang iyong abs at mukhang masarap tikman pero duhh, I'll give it to my future husband my virginity."
I was in deep thought when I heard about virginity. Yes, I planned to give it when I got married but I lost it, thinking Finn will be my husband that I can never resist in bed. We won't get enough of each other still not until we're satiated. I won't regret it, he's a good guy and I think he deserves it.
"My... Oh my God, wait!" Ate Aile stopped talking about our director and her eyes squinted as she narrowed her eyes behind me.
Lilingon na sana ako kaso pinigilan niya ako sa pamamagitan ng paghawak sa magkabilang gilid ng ulo ko. "Huwag ka sanang mabibigla pero bakit siya may ibang kasama?"
Kunot-noo akong lumingon at parang may kung anong bagang na nahulog mula sa puso ko at nahulog iyon sa tiyan ko.
I stared into my man, with someone else, they're both smiling and that woman is so near to my fiancee, his smile towards her is like they're friends but the woman's smile is different, the familiar feeling "na maagawan na naman ako" hit me. I gulped harder when the woman's eyes and I met. Her smile faded.
I whispered, "A-Ate..."
She rolled her eyes and looked at my fiancee, they are talking and they seem like they're close with each other.
Iniwas ko ang tingin ko sakanila bago uminom ng tubig, my hands began to shake and when I look at my friend's eyes, I shook my head when they pity me.
"I'm okay, ihi lang ako tapos aalis na tayo."
"Wait, samahan kita?" Alok ni ate Aile pero umiling na ako.
"Hindi na, kaya ko naman sarili ko." I faked a smile before heading into the comfort room. I sighed when I closed the cubicle's door. I get deja vu about my past with my half-sister. She's always been my dad's priority more than me. I am also his daughter, why is that he's treating me differently?
I shook my head to erase my overthinking before I went out. I saw myself in the mirror, the fear of losing anyone, the same as what I felt when I lost back then, is visible in my eyes. I stood straight when I heard the door open, it was my sister, she's smiling like she won a jock pot.
"Hi there, little sissy. I missed you!" Be-beso na sana siya sa akin pero pinigilan ko siya at tiningnan ng masama, now that my dad and his mom is not here, I can fight with her.
She grinned after what I did.
"What do you want?!"
"Uhm-" she opened her luxury bag and she brought out her make-up kit. She smiled at me on the mirror. "I just arrived from Canada yesterday and then I just got the news that you and my childhood friend are engaged. I'm surprised that mom and dad..."
I threw a dagger looks at her. "Straight to the point!"
"He is my childhood friend, we've grown with each other and I fell in love to him when we're highschool. I love him, Euphoria. He's mine."
"You can't be..." I was shocked when I learned that they're childhood friends. Finn didn't even tell me. I am upset.
She smirked. "I'm surprised your fiance didn't even tell you any single matter about me? Maybe he wants to keep it secret. So just earlier I saw you were shocked, that means he haven't told you that were in on a date."
I laughed at her fakely. "I'm not blind to see that my fiance sees you as his only friend, I trust him more than someone who gets everything she wants but not fair. Kunin mo na ang lahat ng nasa akin, huwag lang siya. Ipaglalaban ko siya kahit pa sa magulang mo. This time, fight fairly, ate." I said before going out in the restroom.
I enhaled before walking towards our table earlier, I felt proud to fight her alone myself, but before I could reach our table someone stopped me by holding my hand. I already knew who it was when I smelled the perfume. Napapikit ako nang maramdaman ko ang yakap niya sa likuran ko.
"Hi, you are having lunch with your officemates, I've seen them earlier and I..."
I shrugged my shoulders, tinapik ko rin ang mga kamay niya dahilan para inalis niya iyon sa tiyan ko, he understands it. Hinarap ko siya at kita ko ang pagtataka sakanyang mukha.
"Sinong kasama mo, bakit hindi mo sinabi sa akin na kasama mo ang ate ko?"
Bumuka ang bibig niya pero bago pa makapagsalita ay inunahan na ako ng half-sister ko. I mentally rolled my eyes at her.
"He's with me."
I sighed before looking at my fiance's eyes. "Let me explain."
He wanted to spoke and explain something but I inverted my gaze.
I smiled at him before I intertwined my hand on his, I saw him smiled he was about to kiss the back of my hand- kinuha ko na mula sakanya ang kamay ko at tiningnan siya sa mata. "PDA, senator Finn. Usap nalang tayo mamaya sa bahay."
"Gusto mo na ihatid na kita?"
Bago ako makapagsalita pa man ay inunahan na naman ako ng half-sister ko. I almost get a knife on the counter to stab her neck.
"Kaya na niyan ang sarili niya, Finn." First name basis pa nga. "She's independent, doesn't depend on anyone." Tumaas ang kilay kong tumingin sa mata niya. So kasalanan ko pa na ayaw ko maging dependent?
"Hindi na kailangan, Finn atsaka dadaan muna ako sa opisina ko bago ako uuwi. Tama si ate, kaya ko kahit wala na sila." I smiled. "Hintayin kita." Sabi ko atsaka tumalikod sa fiancee ko. Wala na sila ate Aile sa mesa namin kanina at nakita ko sila sa labas.
"Okay ka lang?" Agad nilang tanong sa akin. Tanging tango lang at ngiti ang naging tugon ko sakanila.
I motioned them that we need to enter the car so they went inside the car first. Sasakay na sana ako sa second seat nang rinig ko ang boses ng fiancee ko. Lumingon ako at nakita ko ang pag-aalala sa mata niya.
"Please don't overthink about me and your sister, my little miss. Wait for me and I'll tell you everything. I love you."
Ngumiti ako sakanya at niyakap siya pabalik. Ramdam ko ang halik niya sa buhok ko.
"I love you too." I told him sincerely before going inside our company's car. Nakasunod ang tingin ng fiance ko sa akin bago bumaling sa driver.
"Kuya, paki-ingatan po ang pagmamaneho atsaka kung pu-puwede na pakihinayan lang ang pagtakbo."
Ate Aile clapped her hands before touching my hair. "Ang haba ng hair!"
I smiled when he smiled at me too. This man, everytime I'm jealous, he always assume me that I shouldn't and I am blessed with him, if not because of him, I may not feel that I am loved. I love this man, in difficulties or if something happen– I don't want to lose him.
