Manual let's out a sigh, removing his helmet, "Well, the nice thing about having the whole city on alert is that no villains will dare come out."
Iida takes his helmet off as well, closing his eyes as he seems to be in thought.
He slowly opens his eyes, them being completely blank with no emotion other than anger.
Pure, and utter rage.
Y/n sighs, making Iida's attention turn to her, "L/n.. why did you choose this place to intern?"
"I think you know why. I need to make sure you don't get killed." Y/n simply replies, shrugging uncaringly.
"You—" Iida gets cut off by her sharp glare.
"I'm not doing this for you. I couldn't care in the slightest if you died or lived." The truthfulness in her eyes made him flinch in surprise. "However..."
She looks off to the side, "You matter to Izuku. If you got injured, he would be hurt... So I can't allow to get too injured on this stupid plan of yours. I won't stop you, nor will I even step in if you don't wish me to. I just won't let you die."
For Izuku. That's the reason she's doing this. One of the few people to not care much about her negative traits.
She doesn't enjoy growing close to people, there would only be t̶h̶r̶e̶e̶ two people she considers herself close to..

"I'll try to message him later. We'll patrol Kyoto today, too. Sorry this is so monotonous." Manual apologizes to the two teens which trailed behind him.
"No. It's better this way." Iida replied bluntly, not considering how suspicious his actions looked.
Manual stares at him blankly for a second, hesitating before opening his mouth.
"Hey." Mutual calls as the boy looks towards him.
"Hm?"
"This is kinda hard to ask, but you're after the Hero Killer, aren't you?" Manual asks as the two teens behind him freeze.
Iida gasps, eyes widening as he stares at the pro, "How did you...?"
"I couldn't think of any other reason why you'd come to my agency." Manual puts his hand on the back of his neck before his eyes widen as he puts his hands infront of him, "Uh— Don't get me wrong, I'm really glad you did, but... You shouldn't be pursuing personal grudges."
"We heroes don't have the authority to arrest people or punish them. The only reason we're allowed to use our quirks is because of the regulations put on them. That's why, no matter how noble the reason may be, a hero must not use their quirk for themselves. If a pro used their power for their own selfish desires, it would be a very serious crime."
...Wouldn't it be ironic if she became a villain because of a hero's words?
"I'm not saying that the Hero Killer isn't incredibly guilty or anything! You just seem like the earnest type, you know? I'd hate for you to focus on one goal and ignore everything else." Manual panics, realizing his words could've came off the wrong way.
"Thank you. I appreciate it." Iida bows his head, hair falling loosely over his eyes.
"Oh, it's fine, as long as you get what I'm saying. So, we good?" Manual asks as Iida nods.
Y/n's eyes narrow as she knows Iida wouldn't give up this easily.
Nobody is able to get rid of their hatred that easily.

"What did you say? Villains appeared?" Manual asks, holding his hand up to his earpiece. "Don't worry. I can head there right now."
Manual turns towards the two students, eyes burning with seriousness, "Stay with me. We're running."
Iida suddenly pauses as Y/n does the same, Iida stares into a eerie alleyway silently for a moment before he gasps.
Iida runs into it as Y/n yawns, pausing for a moment before following.
Her eyes widen slightly at the sight of a raggedy man holding a pro hero by his face against a wall.
Well fuck me gently with a chainsaw..
This certainly wasn't was she wasn't was she was expecting to lay eyes on today, but it's... interesting, all right.
Y/n's eyes narrow as she stops, not wanting to be noticed just yet.
Iida jumps forward aiming a kick towards the man.
The man turns towards him, knocking his helmet off with his blade and evades the attack easily.
Iida grunts, falling to the ground as the man's eyes narrow, "A child wearing a suit. Who are you?"
Iida simply glares as the man's eyes narrow at the lack of reply before he suggests, "Run, run away from here. This is not a place for children."
Iida grunts, sitting up with gritted teeth, "You're carrying blades all over your body and you're wearing a blood-red scarf. You must be the Hero Killer, Stain!"
Huh? That's the Hero Killer? She didn't expect him to look like some homeless dude... cool shoes though.
Iida glares at Stain in rage, "I've been looking for you, but I'd didn't think I'd find you so soon."
"I am—" Iida gets cut off with a blade being put infront of his face.
"Your eyes are searing with vengeance. Be careful what you say next. If need to be, even someone your age can be my target." Stain warns the boy.
Iida's hands tremble, "Are you saying that I'm not even a threat to you? You listen to me, criminal!"
Y/n covers her quiet laughter with her hand in order not to be heard.

She stops her laughter but a small grin on her face still remains as Iida continues his speech, "I am the brother of an incredible hero who you attacked."
Iida shakily stands up, "He's the best older brother that anyone could hope for. I have come to stop you because he can't anymore. You're going to remember my name for as long as you live. I am Ingenium, and I will defeat you. That, I promise!"
"Then, so be it. Die." The moment Stain said those words, Iida charged forward.
Stain simply jumped up, dodging the attack, "Ingenium. So you're brothers. I let him live so he could spread he good word of me."
Stain uses the spikes on his shoes to stab Iida's shoulders.
Ooh... really, really cool shoes... maybe she should add those to her hero outfit?
Y/n ponders for a moment before shrugging.
Eh, maybe. But she should probably pay attention now...
She wasn't going to intervene until Iida got too injured, like about to die, too injured.
Iida gets pushed to the ground, Stain having one foot pressed against Iida's head, "You're a weakling. Just like he was."
Stain twirls his blade, stabbing Iida's shoulder, "You aren't heroes. You have no right to be called that. Both of you are nothing but fakes."
"Shut up, villain. You damaged his spine and paralyzed him from the waist down. He's never gonna be able to work as pro hero again. My brother was incredible. A caring person who saved many lives. Someone people looked up to. You had no right to take that all away from him!" Iida declares. "My older brother inspired my dream that one day I could be a pro, too! I won't forgive you. I'll kill you!"
How heroic, Iida.
Y/n rolls her eyes at the boys words. She couldn't care less about what he does, but if he's going to have an entire speech about how he wants to be a hero, maybe don't end it with an 'I'll kill you!'
"Shouldn't you be worried about saving that guy?" Stain points towards the man who was leaning against the wall, a stab wouldn't in his shoulder. "So busy with your grudge, you forgot about him. You plan on using your quirk only for yourself. You're completely blinded by a selfish desire for revenge. You're about as far away from being a hero as I can imagine."
Meet Mineta. Y/n merely thought, her face forming into a grimace at the very thought of the short boy.
Stain removes the blade from the boys shoulder, licking the blood on the blade, "And that's why you'll die tonight."
Iida suddenly seems to freeze as Stain puts his blade directly above Iida's back, "Goodbye, child. May your death bring about a better world."

"No please! Not like this!" Iida exclaims with frustration seeping in his bones.

Stain's eyes narrow at the boy.

"Say whatever you want about me! You're still just a criminal who hurt my brother!" Iida shouts, tears staining his eyes.
