The sports festival is over, and hardly anything changed. They went back to normal classes, training, and everything. There was only one thing that seemed to change...
"Hey, you. Excuse me." A voice whispers as she ignores it, continuing to flick the buttons on her switch as she assumes they're talking to someone else.
"You're L/n from class 1-A!" Her eyes partially widen at that as she looks over.
Multiple eyes shift towards her as she fidgets a bit, uncomfortable with the attention.
"Great job in the sports festival. I rooted for you!"
"Yeah! You looked so badass!"
"You got third place, right? That's so impressive!"
"What's your number?"
She looks around with dotted eyes, "Uh..."

Y/n rests her head on her arms which were crossed on her desk.
"It's is weird that people recognize us from TV! Everyone wanted to talk to me on my way here!"
"Yeah! Me too!"
"Same here! It was so embarrassing feeling their eyes on me!"
"You won't believe what some elementary school brats yelled at me."
"'Nice try'?"
"Ugh!"
Y/n simply stares at her desk blankly, waiting for Aizawa to arrive.
"Morning." A tired voice says as the door opens.
"Good morning, Mr. Aizawa!" The students collected themselves.
"Kero?" Asui looks at Aizawa, "Mr. Aizawa, you don't have bandages anymore. That's good news."
"The old lady went a little overboard in her treatment. Anyway. We have a big class today on Hero Informatics." Aizawa explains.
The students tense up in panics, Oh no!
Informatics? Please don't tell me it's a pop quiz... Kaminari begged in his mind.
Shit, I bet it's about hero laws. I'm so bad at stuff like that! Kirishima thought worriedly.
Informatics... Hm.. Maybe choosing our hero names? Y/n pondered, tilting her head to the left.
Aizawa let the tension and worry fill the room before speaking, "You need code names. Time to pick your identities."
The class cheered at that, glad its not something more academic.
Aizawa scowls, activating his quirk as the students immediately calm down. "This is related to pro hero draft picks that I mentioned the last time we were in class together. Normally, students don't have to worry about the draft yet. Not until their second or third year actually, but your class is different. In fact, by extending offers to first-years like you, pros are essentially investing in your potential. Any offers can be rescinded if their interest in you dies down before graduation, though."
"Now. Here are the totals for those of you who got offers." Aizawa click a button as something projects onto the board.
CLASS A NO. OF OFFERS
Y/n - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 4379
Todoroki - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 4123
Bakugo - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 3556
Tokoyami - - - - 360
Iida - - - - - - - 301
Kaminari - - - 272
Yaoyorozu - 108
Kirishima - 68
Uraraka - 20
Sero - 14
Y/n's eyes widen, baffled about how many she got.
"In the past years, it's been more spread out. But there's a pretty big gap this time." Aizawa says, gesturing towards the gap between the amount Bakugo and Tokoyami got.
"Gah! That's no fair." Kaminari complains, throwing his hands up.
"What about the real star? Moi?" Aoyama was clearly annoyed despite the peaceful smile on his face.
"L/n got more than both Todoroki and Bakugo?" Jiro asks, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah, it's all different than how they placed in the festival." Kirishima blinks in surprise.
"They probably weren't excited about working with the guy who had to be chained up at the end." Sero shrugs as Bakugo's head snaps towards him.
"If I scared a pro, they're just weak!" Bakugo scowls harshly.
"4379 offers... huh." Y/n blinks at the screen, still processing the information
"Despite these results, you'll all be interning with pros. Got it? Even those of you who didn't get any offers." At Aizawa's words, the class looks at him shocked.
"Oh, so, we're all interning?" Izuku asks as Aizawa nods.
"You already got to experience combat with real villains during the attack on the USJ facility. But it'll still be helpful to see pros at work. Up close and personal, in the field. Firsthand." Aizawa elaborates.
"These hero names will like be temporary, but take them seriously or—" Aizawa gets cut off as the door slams open.
"—You'll have hell to pay later!" Midnight exclaims from the doorway.
"What you pick today could be your code name for life. You better be careful, or you'll be stuck with something utterly indecent!" Midnight walks in, hands behind her head as she grins.
"Yeah. She's got a good point. Midnight is going to have final approval over your names. It's not my forte." Aizawa grabs his sleeping bag, "The name you give yourself in important. It helps reinforce your image and shows what kind of hero you wanna be in the future. A code name tells people exactly what you represent. Take 'All Might' for example."
Huh... a hero name..
