" so he a little bad ass huh ?" Ant questioned.
I nodded my head laughing.
" He shoved Seirra a little bit and that shit did it for me man" I said shaking my head.
" Damn" Brandon said shaking his head.
" I didn't realize I punch him in the nose either"
" Wow sounds like y'all both got the same type of temper"
" The hell we don't" I said shaking my head.
" Yes y'all do" Ant and Brandon said at the same time.
I smacked my teeth at them.
" don't forget . . . you had that nigga off" Ant said lowly looking around making sure no one heard him besides us.
" And kicked that nigga ass in the club" Nate said.
" Now that is different" I said defending my actions looking at myself in the mirror.

I was getting fitted for my tuxedo for the wedding .
It was white with black trimming.
Switching it up this time.
" That boy look sharp" Brandon said.
" Yo Sin you see your pops" I said turning around facing him.
He did nothing but chewed on his fingers watching us and looking at the lights.
We had him out with us today.
Me and him will be matching. I couldn't wait to see what our baby girl will look like cause Sincere was the spitting the image of me.
I know Seirra hated my guts during her first pregnancy so I wonder about this one.
After leaving from the shop I was heading home.
" Let's see what your mom and sister are doing"
I walked in instantly seeing a worried look on Sierra face.
She was on the phone.
" Um y-yes he just walked in"
I put down Sincere watching him instantly crawl to his toys on the floor.
" Ok I'll call right back soon as we get on the road"
" Baby what's wrong?" I said still standing in my spot.
I watch as she slowly got up.
" That was your mother"
" your father had an heart attack Ju"
It took me a minute to process what she was saying.
" ...... where is Jamaya and Jamis"
" Um right now they are at the hospital but Mama Janice is on the way"
I truthfully didn't know how to feel.
" Julian are you going to be okay I know the relationship between you and your father wasn't the best but I'm here for you"
" Imma be aight" I said shrugging it off.
" Well imma going to get Kianna ready" she said walking upstairs.
Since Sincere and I was already ready I had him in my lap playing with his monkey toy as we waited.
My mind shifted to the last time I seen him which was Christmas.
The look on his face showed happiness since he had all his kids together.
" Mommy we go to ca?" I heard Kianna soft voice asked.
" yes baby"
We all got ready getting into the car.
It was a silent ride besides Kianna trying to talk.
It did not take us long to get through the downtown hospital.
" Hey mama we here" Sierra said over on the phone.
I followed behind her while Kianna held my hand trying to touch everything in sight.
" Hey y'all" my mom said one she saw us.
" Hey how is everything going" I asked him.
Her face said it all.
" It's not looking good. . . . the doctor were originally hopeful of any signs when he first came in but they haven't seen any signs of improvement"
" Oh noo that's so sad" Sierra
" Where are the kids ?"
" They are in the room with him"
" Ju why don't you go in there and be supportive . . . they are going to need you" My mom said.
" Yes please go be there for them" Sierra added.
I took a sigh before speaking.
" Aight"
I walked to the designated room he was in.
Just from the window I saw Jamaya laying her head on Jamis shoulder.
It was just them two.
I slowly walked in seeing James with tubes that was supporting him to stay alive.
" He can't leave us like this" I heard Jamaya say lowly.
I looked over seeing her eyes teary with pain.
Jamis just sat quiet staring at James.
They both looked hurt.
" How long have y'all been here"
" Since 5 o'clock"
It was now 7:30 when we got here.
" Every thing was fine before . . . I went into his room check on him and he d-didnt respond to me that's when I got Jamis to call 911"
" I just want my daddy to be okay" Jamaya said rubbing her eyes.
" Imm go get some water" she said walking out.
Jamis still haven't said a word.
We stayed quiet until I couldn't anymore.
" How you feeling ?"
I watched as he just shrugged his shoulders.
" I'm here for you man truthfully" I said clearing my throat.
He looked over at me with his red eyes.
" Are you really?"
I nodded my head.
" yall are my family too you know"
He nodded his head looking back at James.
4 hours a later . . .
Sierra
By now it was crowded with extended family members of James side.
Of course both of my parents showed up for support.
I watched as Julian walked out through the automatic doors leaving out the hospital.
He was quiet once he came out from the room his father was in.
" Sweetheart why don't you go check on him" My mom said.
She carefully took Sincere out my arms as he was wide awake although it was late past his bed time. I slowly got up putting a protective hand on my stomach.
He was outside sitting on the curb.
" I would sit down with you but I wouldn't be able to get back up"
He gave me a brief smile that barley reach his face.
" How you feeling" I asked
He shook his head.
" I don't know I . . . I feel numb"
" I'm angry . . . they kids" he said closing his eyes.
" They kids Sierra . . . they suppose to have him further than I did"
" Just when he wanted things to be right this bullshit happens"
" This shit happens " he repeated to himself.
I watched as his head drop and shoulders slump.
I frowned seeing him hurt.
" He want be able to see none of his grandkids grow up"
" I'm hurting for a man I barely even know"
" and that's okay Julian" I said.
" But you knew he was trying because he knew one day he will leave this earth but he wanted to be on the right terms with you"
" It may have been late but it happened. It h-happened"
" For you, Jamaya, and Jamis"
" He wants you guys to stick together Julian"
" Continue keeping that bond with you and your siblings"
I watch as he stood up engulfing me in his arms. I gladly open mine.
" I love you"
" I love you more" I said rubbing his back.
We stayed like that for a few minutes before pulling back.
" Sierra I can't wait to marry you" he said with his teary red eyes.
" Mrs. Westbrook" he said with a smile barely reaching his face.
" me too Mr. Westbrook"
He pecked my lips twice.
" Julian"
We looked seeing his mother very saddened face.
I braced myself to hear the worse. I squeeze on his hand letting him know I'm still here.
" The doctors tried everything they could"
" I'm so sorry baby"
I tightly closed my eyes.
" Where is Jamaya and Jamis ?" He asked squeezing my hand back.
" They are still in his room"
" I need to go be there for them" he said
I let him go walking behind him seeing the multiple of sad faces.
This is not what we wanted the end results to be but for him to shake back out of this.
I watch as his sister Jamaya cry into her big brother arms.
I cried my own tears because they are too young to have lost both of their parents.
God have to fix this.
A week later
" Are you going to eat ?"
He shook his head without saying a word.
I let out a sigh for the up tenth time.
The past days he's been like this.
Super quiet.
He comes in to play with the kids for a minute then sit outside to smoke his blunt and drink his liquor.
This could not go on forever.
" Ju we need to talk"
" I'm fine Sierra" he said looking down.
" no you're not Julian if you nee-"
" I don't need to talk no one" he said looking at me annoyed
" Are you sure because your sister and mother is worried about you and so am I"
" This is not like you . . . Kianna asks me is da-da okay"
" She knows something is wrong"
" I hate lying to my daughter Julian and any of our kids"
" All of a sudden you have become this super busy man"
" it's like life has been sucked out of you"
" I need you Julian . . . we all need you" I said grabbing his hand to feel baby A kicks.
I just this knew baby was going to be a daddies girl because she become so energetic when he is close by me.
I watched as he briefly looked at my stomach before turning back away removing his hand getting up leaving me in the kitchen.
The lump in my throat grew as tears begin to feel my eyes.
I quickly dab them with my Kleenex.
" Sierra ?"
I looked up seeing Maya in entry.
" Hey sweetie I didn't even hear you" I said quickly rubbing my eyes.
" Im sorry but did you need me to do anything"
I shook my head at her. She was so sweet. Especially with watching Kianna and Sincere.
" Um no sweetheart but thank you just get some rest"
She nodded her head understanding.
" I just wanted to say thank you for allowing us to be here. I know Julian is not talking right now but I wanted to make sure I at least speak to one of you"
" You are more than welcome here you and Jamis"
she nodded her head smiling a little.
The last couple of days have been rough for them all. It almost felt like a dark cloud was hovering over Julian and Jamis the most.
Those two were so much alike it was scary.
I tried my best to cheer them up but it wasn't working at all.
Tomorrow was the funeral. Julian paid for it. He did it so that the original money that was going to be used for it to go straight to Jamaya and Jamis.
My phone ringed making me answer it.
" Hey mama"
" Hey hun how is my Ju doing"
" Same ole same ole"
" still in the funk huh"
" yes ma'am it's to the point where he barley wants to eat"
I heard her sigh on the other end.
" well everybody grieve differently"
" but how are you though sweetie"
" I'm fine but I'll feel better when Ju is"
" I understand baby but don't you worry yourself sick now I need for you and my grand baby to be okay"
" yes ma'am"
Me and mama Janice talked for a little while before it was time for me to put the kids for bedtime.
Once they were tucked in I walked into the room hearing the shower run.
I had already took one earlier.
My body has really been tired the last couple of days.
Couldn't wait for baby A to make her arrival because she is starting to really slow me down.
I closed my eyes in attempt to get some sleep.
That was short lived when I felt the bed dip.
I peaked my eyes open seeing his back turn to me.
This was not like him at all.
I only just sighed facing the other way.
