Marcy pov:
My parents made me move again.
We always go somewhere and leave within a few months, so I've never managed to make any friends, not that I have the social skills anyway.
So my parents hope that this will be our forever home, and finally stay in LA.
After I got settled, I went straight to bed, and I started to dream
Marcy Wu, you have been chosen to be apart of a trio of power, and stop the night before it's to late.
I was in shock, then I realized how froggin cool this was! "WHOAAAA are you some kind of cat god?? Do you control the universe, what's my destiny!!??" 'Am I in a video game!?? Coolllll!!!'
I gushed about my video games to the cat god for some time, then it spoke,
It is time Marcy, find your trio and save your world, good luck.
Then a flash of green woke me up.
Time skip
Today is my first day at Saint James Middle School. A little private school with...acceptable uniforms, I don't like the t-shirts so I chose a hoodie so I can try and hide myself from the others, I don't want to be bullied today.
The bus arrived and I got on, at the next stop a Thai girl got on the bus, she had brown curly hair and the same school uniform as me, just the t-shirt without the hoodie.
She sat down on the seat across from me and I stared out the window, then I noticed the girl was staring at me, I could feel her eyes on me and I glanced at her,
She looked away fast noticing I had caught her and she stared down at her feet
'Heh, cute.' I gave a small smile.
And I think she noticed, because she seemed to smile back.

After I got off the bus and the Thai girl speed walked off to her friends, I walked into the building soon after and got my schedule at the office.
"Okay, first class...math" this will be a breeze, I'm great at math and it's awesome.
I made it to math class, room 102, and I saw a blond standing by the door, she looked nervous
"Shouldn't you be getting to your next class?" I said to her and she looked up at me
"Oh actually this is my class, I'm just not really wanting to go in, I'm new here" she responded rubbing one of her arms
"Oh well both of us can go in if you want" I offered
"Sure"
I walked in first and she followed behind, and the teacher stopped us at the front of the class, and he introduced us to the rest of the class.
That's when I noticed the Thai girl in the back of the class staring at me
I nervously shuffled and looked down at my feet and grasped my upper arms, the blond girl just hugged herself staring out at the class as she stood beside me.
We were then told to take our seats, the only ones left were beside the Thai girl
I sat on the left side of her and the blond sat on the right side of her, then she gave both of us a friendly smile, and we both smiled back.
'Did she only smile because the teacher told her to?? Why is she being so nice? Is she going to, like, bully me or something?'
I aced math and science. Too easy as always. I was going to put my books in my locker, then I saw a flier on a bulletin board,
Chess Club!!!

Room 203
'Chess club? I was good at chess, it was my favourite game after all... I headed to room 203
I arrived to see a little crowd of people all gathered around in a circle
I started to approach and some people turned to look at me
"You new here right? Do you play chess? OH!! HEY! you should challenge them in chess, they have been unstoppable for weeks" the girl said to me
"Okay.." I said sitting down across from the chess champion
"You ready to go down?" She said menacingly
I looked at the game board "bring it on."
She played first, then me on our next turns I started to see the game board differently, it like my head was a computer programmed to be good at chess, I planned my moves way ahead and I was slowly starting to win
The girl across from me was stressed, and was trying to figure out what I was doing, she looked me in the eye, but she jumped back suddenly.
"WHAT THE- why does your eyes look like that!?" She stood up and speed walked out of the room.
Everyone was in shock "well, who's next?"
I played against some of the best chess players in the group, they all seemed to be set off by the way I look at them, my eyes flickered to the crowd, and I saw that Thai girl again, watching me.
Her expression was shock, but she saw something different in her eyes than everyone else, I turned back to the game and beat them in two moves.
Then the bell rang, I could tell the Thai girl was watching me, wait, was she following me?? Maybe we have the same class..
I turned a corner to an empty hallway, and so did she.
I whipped around to she what she was doing "why are you following me??" I exclaimed, she stopped and looked me right in the eye, I started having intense flash backs to the dream, and almost saw a figure looking much like Anne, was this some kind of calling?? I winced at the memory's, but so did she, almost like we saw the same thing.
"Wait" she said reaching a hand out to me, but she hesitated.
"What do you want from me?" I said almost scared
She stayed silent for a moment, thinking. "...how were you so good at chess?"
"I..don't actually know, I've never been that good.."
"......hmm, okay.. UHHH OK LETS GO TO OUR NEXT CLASS, HUH!?" She said almost like she came to a realization
She ran up to me and grabbed my hand and started dragging me to our next class
'Her hands are so warm.. NO MARCY YOU JUST MET HER' I thought, my face heating up a bit as I looked at our intertwined hands.
When we arrived to class we sat next to each other, and as class went on we kept glancing at each other, it was so weird, 'wait, could this be the girl from my dream thing? She looks like it' I suddenly realized, then she looked at me and I noticed I was staring and I looked down, and I saw her giggle at me, I gave a shy smile.
After school the Thai girl approached me as I was about to walk home "hey! Uh i was wondering if you wanted to come over to my house, just like, to hang out" she said shyly
'She was inviting me over to her house?? What's going on here..' I gave her a puzzled look
"I just want to get to know you, I like getting to know new people" she said as she rubbed one of her upper arms.
I stared at her for a moment "get to know me, huh?" I smirked
"N-Not like that!" She blushed "I just wanna be friends with you, you seem really cool"
Now it was my turn to be embarrassed. I looked away from her, and pulled up my hood to hide my heated face. The Thai girl giggled
"Hehehe Your so cute, uh so is that a yes?" She exclaimed
"S-sure" I answered
She stared to lead me to her house
'Wait, did she just call me cute' I thought starting to blush as I stared at her crushing the fallen leaves under her feet.
