Maddison always knew there was something off about her childhood. Her fathers eyes were a radioactive green and her mother had an odd grace about her that couldn't be found anywhere else. She never suspected those mild differences would lead her anywhere, yet there she was getting pulled into a world she had never known.
I ran around screaming as he shot his water gun at me and Kali. Kase had always had an eye for chaos and anything that could make me mad at him. He hated me. Or more so he hated me being friends with Kali. Kali was a bubbly person. No matter how much she tried to be intimidating she always came off as bubbly and cute.
At the tender age of twelve though, there was no hatred only passive aggressive rivalry's. That would change so soon.
