Valentine's Day....yaaaay.
I mean it's an 'ok' day but for me, the Spider-girl,
(Y/n) (L/N) ...it's rough.
Yes, I'm a total snack, who wouldn't want me. The thing is that I don't think I'll be able to get the girl of my dreams...
Let me rephrase that...The 'Femme' of my dreams.
Ever since she lost Cliffjumper, she's been having a tough time to cope. I've heard her talking to his grave (which is just a pile of rocks) the other day and it couldn't help but remind me of when my mother died in the hands of my enemy.
I'm in the same boat as Arcee, the least I can do is be there for her.
As time went on, I got to know more about her and soon started to develop feelings for this badass motorcycle chick. She showed me her holoform before and she looked hot.
Of course, I didn't say it out loud to her, that would be embarrassing...
~Flash Back~
"Aaaaand...there! Now you guys can blend in with humans much easier." I told the autobots as I just finished up with a new invention. Watts and I decided to give the autobots holoforms to blend in with society easier as Christmas gifts.
"Now all you need to do is transform into your alt-mode and your holoform 'should' appear." As I gave them instructions on the holoforms, Bumblebee seemed too eager to try it out and immediately transformed into the black and yellow Camaro.
The door of the Camaro open and out revealed a bumblebee in his holoform.

Since he was so eager, there were a few minor glitches since he probably didn't use it correctly. While Watts helped Bee, I helped the rest of the Autobots, starting with the big man himself, Optimus Prime and the medic of the team, Ratchet.
Next was Bulkhead, he did give me some troubles, but we finally got it.
Finally, was Arcee. While doing the process, she told me she was a bit nervous, but I reassured her that it'll be fine and that I'm there for her if she needs the support. (Which she obviously needs, but relatable)
I was quite curious at what her holoform will look like.
At first, she appeared in her gear when it was Sadie, but when she took her helmet off, I was at a loss for words.
Sure, I may be simping right now, but can you blame me.
She was hot.
"What?"
"What?" I feel my face flush red as I look over at Arcee giving me a shocked, flustered look.
"I said that out loud didn't I." She nodded while moving a lose strand of hair out of her face and looking at the ground slightly.
We stood there for what felt like an eternity, until I decided to leave, embarrassed by what I said.
"I think that's my cue to leave, have fun with your gift and Merry Christmas."
As I left, I didn't get to see the small smile she had on her face.
~Flashback over~
We decided to let that embarrassing moment stay in the past and focus on the future of this war.
It had its ups and down, but it seems today the deceptions are calm.
I was suspicious at first until I had a run in with Knockout. Him and I got along really well surprisingly and we had some meet ups.
He told me that he wasn't too fond on being a decepticon, but joined because his buddy Breakdown joined them. I swear they got some tension going on, but I'm not judging.
We talked for a bit, and they also apparently got holoforms from Soundwave for some reason and decided to test them out today.
"So, what's it like to be in human flesh?" I asked him. Knockout just shrugged and said, "It's not as bad as I thought it would be, but I'm still trying to get used to it."
"I will admit that your human fashion is impeccable, I mean look at me." He moved his hand up and down, motioning the clothing he was wearing while I shake my head with a smile and roll my eyes.
"First your finish, now clothing? You are so narcissistic." I gave him a smug look as he gasps and puts his hand on his chest.
"I'm not narcissistic, I'm just better at self-love than you." He acted all hurt as I just laughed at his response.
"Does any of the deceptions know you're out here?" I asked Knockout. "I'm pretty sure everyone is out testing their new forms. I think Breakdown is around somewhere, and maybe some vehicons. But today is just a slow day, or as you humans call it a 'snow day." When he mentioned a slow day, I couldn't help but look down because it's been a slow day for me too, Valentine's Day and all.
I want to tell Arcee how I feel, but Im scared of being rejected and her ignoring me for the rest of my life, or worse.
Knockout saw my look and asked "Hey, what's wrong?"
I looked up at him. "It's been a slow and semi-terrible day for me."
"How about this, we go to that one café you always gush about, buy yourself a drink, and go somewhere with no humans around so I can stretch my peds and you tell me about your day. How does that sound?" Knockout placed his hand on my bad reassuringly. (We all need a friend like Knockout fr)
I give him a small smile and nod my head.
~Time Skip~
"So, what's got you so blue today?" Knockout asked in his cybertronian self. We were able to find a spot that was a forest with a clearing in the middle.
"Well, today is Valentine's Day, the day of love where you can spend it with friends, family, or your partner. Theirs this...person that I like, but we have such a good friendship that I don't want to ruin cause of these stupid feelings." I rambled as I take a sip of my drink that I got and layed down onto the soft grass.
"Ah so love problems...Can't help Ya their sweetheart." Knockout joked. " I'm kidding. Think you can tell me about them?"
"Well, they are sassy, hot, we are always there for each other, I can rely on them a lot, they seem mean a little at first, but they have a soft spot for most things, a badass, she very graceful and flexible, beautiful features, must I go on?" I turned to look at Knockout, who seemed to be pondering for a moment.
"Well, you're definitely heads over heels for this gal." Knockout gave me a knowing look.
"I said their gender, didn't I?"
"Yup, but don't worry love I don't judge. Now, what I think you should do is give her hints. Then take her out somewhere but don't make it seem like a date, but it is finally, you tell her how you feel in the end while watching the sunset."
I gave a 'wtf' look towards Knockout in the end but brushed it off 'He must have been watching romantic movies at those drive-in theaters.'
"It's a decent plan, coming from you surprisingly." I mumbled the last bit to myself. "I'll do it."
"Good, there's still quiet a bit of sun left, so I say you get this show on the road, besides I'm gonna have to go find Breakdown to make sure he's not fighting with any Autobots."
"Alrighty then, See ya later Knockout!" I wave to him bye as he transformers but open his door.
"Need a ride back to town?" How can I say no. I hop in the passenger seat, as a seat belt clips in place.
~Time skip~
"Hey Arcee!" I wave Arcee over to come closer to the human area.
"(Y/n), I was actually looking for you earlier." Arcee strides over as I lean against the railing. "You where?" I question.
She nods. "I wanted to ask you if wanted to go for a ride together? Just you and me."
I blushed a bit at the thought of just her and me...alone. "Um yeah, sure I'll go with you."
"Great." Arcee transformed into her alt mode.
"Hop on." She said as her holoform appeared with the helmet on. I jump behind her and awkwardly wrap my arms around her waist and my body pressed against her back.
She drove out of the base and onto the road, leading to who knows where.
As the scenery flashed before me, I tried to take in what was happening.
'Why did Arcee want to go for a drive with me? And why me specifically? Well I could do that plan Knockout told me.'
Time seemed to have sped up as we were in a different location than before. It seemed we where in a forest on a dirt path leading to who knows where. Arcee then stop and I took it as a sign to hop off. She takes her helmet off as it fizzles away and hops off as well.
Suddenly, out of now where she grabs my hand and starts to run through the forest, dragging me with her until I can keep up. The trees become a blur as we run and the sound of the leaves and small branches that crush beneath our feet.
Many thoughts run in my head, mostly 'Oh my god..she's holding my hand!' The more i think about it, the more my face turns into a scarlet red that would turn Knockout's finish to shame.
We soon start to slow down as we exit the forest to a clear spot that is alongside a cliff. The sun was going to be setting soon, and we got the most perfect view of it....Totally not staring at Arcee...
Arcee then walks up to the cliff and sits down by the edge. "Sit down, I don't bite." She teased as I approached her and sat down next to her, our hands almost touching as they lay on the ground.
"When did you find this spot?" I asked as i look at her. She looks over at me and I could have sworn I saw her face turn red..but it could just be the lighting. "Well...I was on patrol one day and I just came across it. I thought that you might also like this place." I had to agree with her, this view of the sun is amazing, and the way the pink, orange, and purple hues of the sky really compliment each other.
"Hey Cee, can I ask you a question?" she smirks and says "You already did." I stifle a laugh as she nods her head tell me to go ahead and ask.
"Ok um...Do you have feelings for anyone? I know it seems weird and out of nowhere but...I'm just curious." She thinks to herself for a moment as I wait for her response.
"Their is this one person I really like, I just don't seem to have the courage to talk to them." She looks at the sun as it's about to set. "Even after showing the courage on the battle field, I just-"
"I know how you feel Cee. I have a crush on someone and like you, I don't have the guts to tell them.." I nervously take her hand and hold it in mine. Keep in mind that my face is just red and burning right now.
"With today being Valentine's day and everything, I just saw loads of couples walk around all day. I swear I think i'm the only single person here heh." I look at the sun as it starts to go down beyond the horizon. We sit their for a good couple of minutes, where the sun is just nearly about to go away.
" I can't take this anymore."
I say as Arcee gives me a puzzled look.
"Arcee, I've been in love with you for as long as I can remember. I know you've lost partners in the past, but I want to be by your side until the day I die. Your sassy, beautiful, you have amazing battle skills. It's just, I'm scared that you don't feel the same way- Mhm!"
I was cut off by Arcee lips on mine. My heart is beating so fast I can hear it through my ears. My stomach feels like fireworks are going off inside me. I close my eyes and kiss her back as I cup my hand against her face, pulling her in closer.
The sun is now gone as the stars light up the sky. The light of the moon peaking through the trees behind us.
I never wanted to pull away, but oxygen is a thing. I pulled away as I touch my forehead against hers as we both try to catch out breathes.
She smiles and said "I love you too, I started to fall for you since Christmas." I chuckled and stood up.
"We should probably head back." I hold my hand out for her. As she took it and I pulled her up into another kiss. She wraps her arms around my neck as I hold onto her hips. We then pull away and smile at each other.
"So...wanna be my girlfriend?"
"Absolutely."
