"Naomi." A voice whispers near my ear.
My eyes shoot open and I look up to see Dayton and relax a little.
"What?!" I whisper shout at him for waking me up.
"Want me to drive you back to your dorm or do you want to chill here? Linnea is staying with Warren so." His arm is still around my shoulders.
"Can you drive me to the dorm?" He looks disappointed. "Next time I will stay I just have a few things to do." And I think my period just started and I don't want to annoy him with all my needs. He nods standing up and walking over to grab the car keys and phone from the kitchen island.
"What time do you want to go?" He leans on the island scrolling through his phone.
"Just give me." I need to find Linnea. "20 minutes?"
"Okay," Why does he keep smiling at me? I probably look like a hot mess. I nod walking around the house to find Linnea.
I open a random door and my jaw practically drops to the floor.
Linnea and Warren are making out against his dresser, thankfully all clothes are intact.
Whoah. I thought they were "just friends." Who obviously liked each other but I mean whoa man.
Linnea hears the door open, looks back at me, and jumps away from Warren while he just stares at her with a big smile on his face so big.
He's probably the happiest guy on the planet.
"Yes, Naomi?" She straightens out her shirt.
"Nothing just wanted to talk to you real quick before Dayton takes me home." I snatch her hand and drag her to the bathroom.
"What's up?" She asks calmly. I'm about to be anything but calm.
"First off, you and Reid? Making out?" I poke her arm. Her face goes bright red.
"We just, I don't know honestly. One second we were talking then the next thing I knew he had me pinned against the wall. Then the dresser" She shrugs.
"So like are you guys a thing now?"
"I don't know yet." She smiles a little, rocking back and forth on her feet.
"Okay enough about that, what was the other thing you needed to ask about?"
"I got my period and Dayton offered me to stay here for the day but you know me and I need a tampon." I rushed out.
In the blink of an eye, she shoots down and grabs a handful of tampons out of the cabinet and hands them out to me.
Where the fuck did those come from.
I slowly grab them trying to stuff them in my pockets. She couldn't have given me a bag jeez.
"Just go home and relax girl you deserve it, do you want me to come with you? Warren can wait."
"No, no go have fun I'm just going to watch a movie or something." I smile at her as I walk out to the kitchen.
"You ready?" Dayton glances up from his phone.
I nod grab my backpack and walk to the door.
He opens it and waits for me to walk through before closing it behind us.
"I like your hair, it's pretty." It probably looks horrid right now considering I woke up not even an hour ago.
His hair looks flawless as always though.
"Oh please I probably look horrible." I pull down the mirror looking at myself before looking back at him.
He looks me in the eye intently. "Never."
Neither of us says anything for about ten seconds before I save us from the awkwardness by flicking him on the forehead. He gives me an odd look before driving off.
I think he knows I like him. He has to know I make it pretty obvious.
And we've made out a few times along with a few dates.
A pain shoots sharply into my lower abdomen.
Damn period cramps I wince in pain as Dayton parks outside of my dorm. "Are you good Naomi?" Idiot
"Yep, thanks!" I go to grab the car door but his hand grabs my arm softly pulling me back into the seat.
"Are you sure you're okay?" He asks once more, looking me into my soul. I swallow.
"Better than ever." I smile just as another cramp shoots through me knocking the smile off my face.
"Yeah, that's it." He opens the car door coming over to my side. What the hell is he doing?
He yanks the door open unbuckling my seatbelt and picks me up out of the car like I'm a fucking baby "Put me down, Dayton!" I half laugh and half yell at him as he carries me bridal style.
He walks up the stairs with me in his arms like I weigh nothing.
We love a strong boy if you know what I mean. Wink. Wink. Wink.
Something is seriously wrong with me.
Once we reach my dorm door he sets me down on the bed slowly.
"I'm not stupid blackford I have sisters, remember? Now I'm not going to be a bother nagging you, okay?" I nod slowly. "But tell me right now if you need something so I can go get it for you."
"Candy." I love candy. He smiles at that, a big smile. I love his smile.
"What else?" He encourages.
"Nothing else."
"Naomi." He says sternly. So much for not nagging me.
"Stay?" Damn it I was supposed to keep that in my head.
"Anytime." I think I'm starting to fall for him.
He walks over to me leaning down kissing my cheek before grabbing his car keys and walking out of the door.
I palm myself on the head.
I did not just ask him to say what is wrong with me damnit.
He returns about 20 minutes later with two bags full of candy, Gatorade, tampons, and a heating pad.
Can he get any better?
I go to grab my purse to hand him a 20$ bill but he refuses to take it.
"Take it." I shove it at his chest.
"Naomi. No." He laughs like I'm kidding. Whatever, I'll hide it in his shoe.
"Do you need anything else or are you set?"
"I'm okay." I open the heating pad and lay it across my abdomen. This feels so fucking good, oh lord.
He pops up like a genie with a glass of water in his hand and I thank him for grabbing it slowly while taking a sip. Oh god, what am I doing?
I can take care of myself. I don't need to be a bother to him.
"You can go, you know? You don't have to stay." Please stay.
"Shut up." He laughs, throwing a pillow at me softly.
He stands up from the chair and walks over to me.
He leans down giving me a big hug, he's a sweetheart.
Dayton slowly climbs into the small bed with me cradling me to him, spooning me.
He rests his hands on my lower stomach, it feels nice it doesn't hurt as bad like this.
"You know this is a couplely thing to be doing?" I say snuggling more into him.
"Shh, sleep." He chuckles softly.
I slowly feel myself falling asleep, then start to wake up to the sound of voices.
"Dayton, I think I need to tell her how I feel, like how I truly feel. All this shit of tiptoeing around is getting old I need to tell her." I hear a voice through a phone
"So what are you going to do about it? Don't mess with her like this." Another whispers as I fall back asleep.

THERE IT ISSSS. sounds like Warren is finnaly going to grow up and sort out his feelings.
