" Man who would've thought your brother was stricter than Sensei Wu?! " Said Cole as they all were sitting on the couch helpless, except Y/n.

" Even as a nindroid I feel so tired.. " said Zane.

Everyone asleep. But not for a certain two.
Cole's bedroom was the closest to the kitchen as the smell of cake swept into his nose.
" Cake... " Cole woke up as he walked to the kitchen. Seeing Y/n on his phone standing while in the oven something was baking.
" Huh "
Y/n looked at Cole.
" Oh. Hey. "
" Are you.. "
" Baking cake? Yep. Although just a small one. "
Cole gulped as Y/n opened the oven revealing freshly baked cake.
" Can I have some?.. "
" Sure. Let me just put some frosting first. "
Y/n put chocolate frosting on the cake with caramel syrup on top.
Y/n cut the cake in half as he gave Cole the other have.
" Thanks for the food! "
Cole ate a spoonful as he hummed in satisfaction. " It's so good! The moist, the fluffiness, the mocha inside.. it's all so good.. "
Y/n chuckled as he also ate .
" Hey.. all this time why didn't you show yourself? " Asked Cole while eating.
" I just.. wanted to be alone. I'll never fit into your ninja club, you already have fire. "
" But we wouldn't mind an extra! " Said Cole as he pat Y/n on the shoulder.
They finished eating as they sighed in relief. " Man. That was good.. i'd have more! "
" Maybe I'll make some again sometime. "
" Really?! That'd be cool! Man you're awesome! " Said Cole smiling.
Y/n just stared at Cole as Cole stared back in confusion.
" Whats up? "
" You've got frosting on your cheek earthboy. "
" Oh.. " Cole tried to rub it off, but it was the wrong side.
Y/n rubbed it off with his finger licking it.
" Hey wh- "
" Wouldn't let that sweetness go to waste. " Y/n smiled as Cole felt his stomach jump.
" I- I'm heading back to bed, goodnight! " Said Cole running off as Y/n laughed.

10:30 A.M
Y/n woke up groaning. He sluggishly walked to the kitchen just to see Cole eating bread.
" Where are the others? " Said Y/n yawning.
" All on a mission. I was done with mine. "
Y/n sat beside Cole laying his head on the table.
" Man I'm beat. I still had to fix my motor after you slept. "
" Eh? "
" I was brainstorming building things last night. When you saw me I was in my cake break. "
" I see.. "
Y/n stared at the sandwich Cole was eating.
" ... You want some? "
" Can I? "
" Of course. "
Cole made Y/n a sandwich as he gave it to him
" Thanks.. " Y/n took it as he ate.
" You know I've been wondering.. "

Y/n stared at Cole in disbelief.

Y/n chuckled. " I just like my hair long. Although it can get in the way sometimes. "

They ate in silence, the awkward between them was loud.
" Tell me. When did Sensei start teaching you? "
" After Morro's death. "
" How old are you now? "
" About 17, I'm turning 18 next month. "

" Turning 18 as well in March. "

Y/n and Cole finished eating as they sat in Silence.
Y/n was scrolling through his phone as Cole read the latest issue of starfarer.
" Cole. "

Cole turned to Y/n as Y/n took Cole's hand.
" Your hands are rough. Expected as the Master of Earth. "
Cole could feel his stomach twirling.
