A/N: I hate writing the sports festival.

"We're totally big deals! Those news's channels love us— we're basically celebrities." Denki grins, hands casually resting behind his head as he looks at Kirishima and Jiro.
"Yeah, it's kinda crazy, right?" Kirishima agrees.
"Get over yourselves." Jiro sighs at the two, "The hero course that pumps out pros was attacked, and that's what they care about."
"Who knows what would a happened to us if the teachers hadn't shown up." Sero sets his head down on his arms which had been crossed and set on the desk.
"WHY'D YOU SAY THAT?" Mineta wails loudly, "I'M GONNA PEE MYSELF JUST THINKING ABOUT IT!"
"Oh, shut up! Grow a pair, loser!" Bakugo snaps at the boy.
"Did you guys see All Might fighting the bird guy?" Sato pipes up, "That dude was super strong, and he still destroyed him!"
"Yes." Tokoyami agrees, closing his eyes and tilting his head down, "His strength is truly a thing of wonder."
"He got beat up pretty badly, though.." Y/n says, her eyes not raising from her switch as she played Zelda, "But I suppose it doesn't matter in the end since he managed to defeat the Nomu."
"Attention!" Iida calls, speed walking to the front of the class. "Homeroom class is about to begin! Everyone stop talking and take your seats!"
"Uh. we're all sitting." Kirishima comments as everyone was, in fact, sitting.
"Yeah, you're the only one standing." Sero agrees.
Iida akwardly walks back to his seat, "Dang it..!"
"Don't sweat it." Uraraka gives him a peace sign with a comforting smile.
"Hey Tsu," Mina leans back in her seat, almost falling over but Tsu stops her by holding the back of her chair. "So... who do ya' think's gonna teach class today?"
"No idea." Tsu shrugs, putting a finger to her chin, "Mr. Aizawa's still in the hospital recovering from his injuries."
The door scratches open as Y/n quickly puts her switch away after saving, not wanting to get caught.
"Good morning class." The teacher greets tiredly, students glancing over to see...
"MR. AIZAWA, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"
"Woah! What a pro." Denki comments with a wide grin.
"Mr. Aizawa. I'm glad you're okay." Tenya announces with his hand raised formally.
"You call that okay?" Y/n raises an eyebrow, looking at Aizawa who was covered in bandages with both of his arms in casts.
"My well being is irrelevant." Aizawa says, standing in the front of the class. "What's important is that your fight isn't over yet."
"Our fight?"
"Don't tell me..."
"NOT MORE BAD GUYS!"
"What."
Tension and worry builds up in the room at the thought of having to battle more villains.
"The UA sports festival is about to start." Aizawa says calmly.
"UGH! WHY WOULD YOU SCARE US LIKE THAT!?"
The students clearly were not happy about the unnecessary tension.
"Let's go kick some ass!" Kirishima cheers.
"Wait a second." Denki interrupts as his hand presses again Kirishima's face, shutting him up.
"Is it really such a good idea to hold the sports festival so soon after the villains snuck inside?" Jirou questions.
"They could attack once we're all in the same place." Ojiro theorizes as Aizawa sighs.
"Apparently, the administration thinks this is a good way to show that the threat has been handled and our school is safer than ever." Aizawa explains monotonously. "Plus they're beefing up security compared to past years. This event is a huge opportunity for all students at UA. It's not something we can cancel because of a few villains."
A few villains that almost killed All Might.. Y/n deadpans at her teacher.
"Uh, I'm sorry, but why not?" Mineta says, dread filling his voice, "It's just a sports festival!"
"Huh?" Izuku turns to look at him, "Mineta, don't you know how important this competition is?"
"Of course I do!" Mineta responds, "I just don't wanna get murdered."
"Our sports festival is one of the most watched events in the entire world." Aizawa's explains, "In the past, everyone obsessed over the Olympic Games. But then quirks started appearing. Now, the Olympics have been drastically reduced in terms of scale and viewership. For anyone who cares about competition, there's only one tournament that matters. The UA sports festival."
"That's right!" Momo agreees. "And top heroes everywhere will be watching. This is where you get scouted."
"Sure, unless you're dead."
"She's right!" Denki shoots down Mineta's comment, "After graduating, a lot of people join pro agencies as sidekicks."
"Yeah, but that's as far as some people go. They miss their chance to go indie and stay eternal sidekicks. Actually, that's probably where you're headed. You're kinda dumb." Jiro looks over at Denki who visibly deflates in response.
"It's true that joining a famous hero agency can garner you greater experience and popularity." Aizawa nods quietly, "That's why the festival matters. If you wanna go pro one day, then this event could open the path for you. Once chance a year. Three chances in a lifetime. No aspiring hero can afford to miss this festival. That means you better not slack off on your training."
"Yes sir!"

"That villain stuff sucked, sure, but I'm pumped for these games!" Kirishima exclaims.
He was stood by the back of the class along with three others. Y/n and Tokoyami sat on the shelves against the back wall, the former playing her games while still listening to the red-head, the latter looking over at Kirishima as he speaks.
The one Y/n found most tolerable in the class was definitely Tokoyami, he wasn't loud and had a calm aura around him. Kirishima she also... liked. She wouldn't say she's a huge fan of how excited and loud he can be at times, but his cheerfulness was refreshing.
"We put on a good show, and we're basically on the road to bein' pros!" Sero walks over to them in agreement with Kirishima's words.
"Yeah, this is why I'm even here in the first place." Sato nods in agreement.
"We get so few chances. We have to make the most of this." Tokoyami agrees.
"I hope I get to beat someone up." Y/n comments bluntly as the students around her sweatdrop. "I mean, showing my strength will give me a better chance of getting scouted, right?"
That was not, in fact, what she meant.
