Manik was driving the car Nandini was sitting beside him.
Nandini:- That was rude Manik.
Manik looked at Nandini.
Manik:- What rude love?
Nandini:- You shouldn't talk to your dad like that.
Manik:- Seriously love. Didn't you saw because of him you almost Misunderstood me.
Nandini:- I know. But you hold my hand in front of him and that was disrespectful.
Manik:- Oh hello I don't need anyone permission to hold your hand.
Nandini:- Still you should respect him.
Manik:- Of course I respect him love. But he shouldn't behave like a child and play this rivalry game with your father.
Nandini put her hand on his hand.
Nandini:- I have a feeling that their rivalry soon will end and they will accept us.
Manik took her to his mouth and kissed on it.
Manik:- Hope so love.
Nandini:- Ohh shit! I came with my car. Because of you I forgot it on your office parking.
Manik laughed.
Manik:- It's fine love. I will sent someone to brought it to your hospital.
Soon they reached the hospital. Nandini got down from the car so does Manik. Manik came to Nandini's side.
Nandini:- You don't need to come inside.
Manik:- But I want to.
Manik held her hand. Nandini tried to take her hand back but Manik held it tightly.
Nandini:- Manik everyone is watching.
Manik looked around people were around them had their eyes on them.
Manik:- Who cares?
Manik started walking and pulled Nandini with him.
Nandini:- What will they say?
Manik gave her a smile.
Manik:- They will say the boy is so caring and loving.
Nandini shaked her head in disbelief and held his hand. They entered inside the hospital. Manik was about to walk to her cabin but Nandini stopped him.
Nandini:- Today I have emergency ward duty.
Manik:- OK let's go there then.
Nandini:- Manik you really don't need to walk me there.
Manik didn't said anything just pulled her with him. They entered inside emergency ward. Everyone was busy. Suddenly Nandini's eyes fall on a person Who was crying sitting one of hospital chair. Nandini was shocked.
Nandini:- Navya?
Manik followed Nandini's eyes and saw Navya sitting there. Nandini went towards her running. She kept her hand on Navya's shoulder. Navya looked up. Her eyes were red.
Navya:- Nandini!
Nandini sat beside her. Manik was standing in front of them.
Nandini:- Navya why are you here? What happened? Why are you crying? Is everything alright?
Nandini looked worried.
Navya:- Cabir!
Nandini and Manik was confused.
Nandini:- Cabir? What happened to Cabir?
Navya:- Cabir meet with an accident.
Navya started crying loudly. Nandini hugged her. She looked tensed. Manik was shocked.
Manik:- How I mean like 1 hour ago I talked to him. How this happened?
Navya:- Everything happened because of me. I am the culprit.
She turned to Nandini.
Navya:- Nandu please save him. Please Nandu. If anything happened to him. I will never able to forgive myself.
Nandini:- It's OK Navya. Everything will be fine. Nothing will happen to Cabir. Tell me how this happened?
Navya:- Woh!!
FLASHBACK
Navya after her grocery shopping was walking back home. Someone called her from behind. Navya turned around.
Navya:- Cabir!
Cabir run to her. Actually after talking to Manik Cabir thought to go for a jogging. So while jogging he came to that area.
Cabir:- You just called me and I am here.
Navya:- Me? Call you? Never.
Cabir:- But you just did.
Navya:- Because you called me first. By the way why are you here?
Cabir:- I thought to jog around. But I didn't know you live here. If I knew I would have come everyday.
Navya:- Very funny.
Cabir looked at her hand.
Cabir:- Seems like you went for grocery shopping. Let me help you with your bag.
Navya:- No need.
Cabir:- Let me help.
Cabir and Navya started pulling the grocery bag. The poor bag couldn't handle more so the vegetables fall from the bag. Navya got angry.
Navya:- See what have you done.
Navya started picking up those vegetables. Cabir also started helping her. Few tomatoes rolled on the road. Cabir went to picked up those tomatoes but suddenly a car came from nowhere and hit him.
FLASHBACK END
Navya:- It's all my fault Nandini. I shouldn't argue with him.
Nandini:- It's OK Navya. It's happened.
Manik looked very tensed now. Manik run his fingers in his hair. Manik took out his phone and call someone.
Manik:- Hello Dhruv. Cabir meet with an accident. Yes doctors are examining him. Listen to me go to Cabir's House and bring Auntie with you. Yeah see you.
Manik hang up the phone.
Manik:- I informed Dhruv. He will come with Cabir's family.
Navya was still crying. Nandini was consoling her. Doctor came out. Manik rushed towards him. Navya and Nandini get up from their sit.
Manik:- How is he doctor?
Doctor:- Nothing to worry. His right hand got fracture and got hurt on head. He will be fine.
Manik:- Thank you so much doctor.
Doctor:- It's our duty. Nandini you are here.
Nandini:- He is my friend doctor.
Doctor:- Ohk. He will be fine. Don't worry. They will take him to cabin then you all can meet him.
Nandini:- Thank you doctor.
Doctor nodded his head and left from there. Navya kept her hand on her chest and took a sigh of relief. Nandini sat beside her.
Nandini:- Cabir is alright Navya. Don't worry.
Tears started rolling from her eyes.
Navya:- I got really scared.
Nandini:- I know.
Nandini hugged her.
Nandini:- Cabir is alright now. You should go home and take rest.
Navya shaked her head in negative.
Navya:- I am not going anywhere. I want to see him.
That time nurse and ward boy came out of room with stature Cabir on it. There was bandage on his forehead and arm. They took him to a regular cabin in front of them.
Navya(whisper) :- Cabir!
Nandini side hugged Navya.
Nandini:- Hold yourself Navya.
Suddenly a woman come with Dhruv. Navya was very scared.
Woman:- Manik! Where is Cabir? Is he alright?
Manik:- Clam down aunty. Cabir is out of danger now. Nothing to worry.
Woman:- Where is he? I want to see him.
Manik:- They took him to cabin. We can see him now.
Woman:- Let's go then.
Everyone went towards Cabir's cabin. Manik about to leave but his phone started ringing. Manik saw caller I'd his dad was calling him. Manik picked up the phone.
Manik:- Hello dad.
Vikram:- Manik come to office now.
Manik:- Dad I can't come now. I am busy now.
Seeing Manik not coming Nandini stopped on her track and wait for him.
Vikram:- It's urgent Manik. I don't know anything. You have to be in office right now.
Vikram hang up the phone. Manik was irritated. Manik went to Nandini.
Manik:- Love, dad is calling me in office now. I have to leave now. You take care everything. I will be back.
Nandini:- OK I will handle everything. You can go.
Manik nodded his head.
Nandini:- Drive safe.
Manik:- OK.
Manik kissed Nandini's forehead and left from there. Soon Manik reached office. He knocked on the door of his dad office.
Vikram:- Come in.
Manik:- Dad you called me.
Vikram:- Come come Manik. Veebha is waiting for you.
Manik looked at his left saw Veebha was sitting there. Veebha got up from her sit and smiled at Manik sweetly. Seeing her smile Manik became very angry.
Manik:- Why she is here dad?
Vikram:- You forget Manik your engagement is coming up. You and Veebha should choose rings.
Manik's anger reached it's top.
Manik:- Seriously dad. There my friend got in a accident. He is in hospital now and you called me here for this.
Vikram taken aback.
Vikram:- Who meet accident?
Manik:- Cabir.
Vikram:- How is he now?
Manik:- Like you care and you (pointed his finger at Veebha) get out.
Vikram got up from his sit.
Vikram:- Talk to her nicely.
Manik:- I don't know how to talk nicely dad. Please tell her to get out right now otherwise I don't know what will i do.
Seeing Manik go angry Veebha got scared.
Veebha:- It's OK uncle. Seems like he is in bad mood. So I will take my leave now. I will come other day.
Veebha left from there. Manik didn't even looked at her once.
Vikram came in front of Manik.
Vikram:- Manik is this how you should behave with others?
Manik:- I don't care dad.
Vikram:- You should care she is going to your life partner.
Manik chuckled.
Manik:- Time will tell who will be my life partner and about engagement I am not doing it now.
Vikram:- But you promise me you will do engagement if I gave you the project.
Manik:- Yes I did. But I didn't said I will do it now. I have huge responsibility on my shoulder now. I can't handle extra baggage right now.
Vikram:- Language Manik. Veebha is a nice girl.
Manik rolled his eyes.
Manik:- Only for you not for me. Don't force me dad. You know if you can be stubborn,i can be double stubborn.
Manik turned around.
Manik:- Don't call me for this useless shit anymore. Cabir needs me now.
Manik left from there after saying this. Vikram too shocked to react.
Vikram:- Did he just blackmail me?
Realisation hit him.
Vikram:- Of course he did. Manikkkkkkkk...... Come here right now.
But Manik was already left.
