Our protagonist leaned against the edge of the building, in her hands, she held a switch as she clicked the buttons.

Her eyes were narrowed slightly in concentration, it not being noticeable unless you were really looking.
Her game was interrupted when she heard something land in the pond with a 'plop!' noise.
She glanced up, her game soon change to a 'GAME OVER' screen, making her frown.
She ignored her screen for a moment as she tilted her head to the left slightly, looking at the pond in curiosity.
A book...
.
.
.
Turns out, around five minutes had passed without her noticing as she stares blankly at the book that was being eaten by koi fish.
She then hears the sound of shoes against the floor as someone turns the corner of the building, walking towards where she was.
The boy with fluffy hair from earlier walks towards the pond, muttering something to himself.
He then freezes as he see's the koi fish chewing on his book. His eyes narrowing at the fish as she grins his teeth slightly.
"That's enough.. give it back. Damnit.." He frowns as the girl tilts her head slightly.
"Hello," She greets casually, making him flinch in surprise.
He turns towards the girl, eyes widening for a moment before he responds.
"O-Oh! Sorry.. I didn't notice you..." He stammers, looking away out of embarrassment.
She just gives him a short nod before taking a few steps towards him, the switch being forgotten as the screen, once lit up, faded to black in her hands.
She stuffed the device back into her backpack pocket before looking back at the shy male that stood infront of her.
"L/n Y/n." She simply introduced as he blinks at her in surprise.
"Midoriya Izuku!" He hurriedly responds, flustered around the girl.
"..." She didn't know what else to say to the boy as she stares at him silently.
Her eyes seemed to be staring at his very soul as he nervously looks away, mildly scared of the somewhat-creepy girl.
She raises her hand as puts it on his head, making the boy's face turn red really quickly.
"L-L/n?" He panics, confused as the girl ruffles his hair (which, in her opinion, was really fluffy).
Pat... pat...
Ruffle... ruffle...
"Cute..." She murmurs, making his face turn even more red as he stammers.
She then moved her hand off his head and into her skirt pockets (that she herself stitched on since the original version didn't have pockets), digging around for a bit before pulling out a wrapped piece of candy with a green tint on the wrapping.
"Huh?" The boy infront of her was confused as she grasped his hands, setting the candy in them.
Her facial expression stayed blank, but her eyes held a small type of warmth that made the green-haired male blush.
"T-Thank you...?" He says awkwardly, still mildly confused by the girls actions.
She nods, turning away from the boy and walking away.
The boy was left standing there, confused and flustered by the h/c haired girl.
He stares down at the green candy in his hands, cheeks dusted in pink.
"L/n Y/n..."

The girl was walking home, no change in her bored expression as some people turned to glance at the blank-faced middle schooler.
She stared down at her consoles home screen as she looked through what games she had.
Zelda BOTW, Animal Crossing, Omori, Little Nightmares...
She frowned, not currently wanting to play any of the games that were on her device.
Hm, she could play Minecraft once she gets back...?
She hadn't gotten Minecraft for her switch given the fact she already had it on her computer.
Perhaps she should think of saving up money to be able to get it for her switch...
Hm. Seems like a smart idea to her.
She nods in agreement with her own idea, making some more people give her odd stares.
The stares.
Eyes looking at her.
Watching her every
movement.
Judging her every
movement.
She was used to
those eyes...
They had always been
there no-matter where
she went, no matter
what she did.
She... adjusted to feeling
those eyes, willing to
ignore them rather
than confront them.
Sure, she wasn't
comfortable with those
eyes in the slightest
but...
It's better than having
to confront them.
Plus... some stares
weren't with harmful
or weird intent...
There were always
positives with the
negatives, she
supposed.
No... wait.. not always...
She looked back down at the device in her hands, eyes slowly closing before opening again.
Not always...
That's why... not facing
her issues in real-life
and instead
absorbing all her
time into video
games, was
always easier.
Always easier than having
to face this harsh and
unforgiving world.
